Nico, orangeAddiction, etoile - thank you for the compliments! Pup upstages H at even the boutique where he is quite popular. He enjoys prancing around the store visiting the various SA's and customers. I will need to find a twilly for him a la Pierina's beautiful pup. BTW Pierina - he does not look sad to me - just very cozy and gazing deeply at his stylish owner:)

After seeing Chestnut's beautiful PF pochette I snapped this one up as soon as I spied it in the men's silk case. I appreciate this little size a bit more for the details the smaller format becomes quite frameable too. Tied in the rosette form....enjoying the turning to spring for all the bird lovers on our thread here.

Hi ladies, I have just started to collect Hermes scarves and have been lurking on this thread. With the encouragement of D. Lee I thought I would post my first scarf that fits the theme for the week.

I also wonder if this would really fit the "critter" theme but when I saw that jyyanks has posted it in one cw I thought I would add another cw. It is the third scarf I bought but by far my favorite.

I am so glad to be joining this thread.! It makes me feel like I am on my way to developing a well rounded collection.

Thank you to all my Silky friends for the warm Birthday Wishes. I just turned 50, but dang-it, I feel 90! Too much going on I suppose. I am late to join my favorite week! Forgive me if I miss someone---so much to catch up on.

Lanit, your sweet gavroche is such an addition to the ensemble. What a little piece of silk can do is amazing. Love the look my friend. And your little pup is adorable---I know how you love him.

Orangeaddiction, your plisse posts are beautiful---such depth in one of these little florets of silk.

D Lee, I love little poochy belly cat. His soulful eyes are wonderful---they are your rescues, right?

Tanker--now don't you make me not love you---"not into critters" Really? Huh. I suppose you can have ONE flaw.

Beekmanhill, I adore the cow on your scarf and must look to finding me one of those beauties. Bracelets on her feet even! Love it!

Pierina, your Les Legendes de"Larbre is SO YOU and glorious. Am unfamiliar with this design. What a treat. And I think Pooch SHOULD have his own twilly. Precious.

MYH, I think a jersey takes color better than a silk twill and the drape is phenomenal. Gorgy my dear.

Hobekenite, what a darling post. You look like Ladybaga in her famous Lemur Love Photo. Niko--can we see that look on you WITH the scarf on??

Melora24, I giggled at your post about the eye shadow lulling you to wear makeup. I too find myself buying eyeshadow as the colors scream at me but they are rarely worn.

And Welcome welcome Stylemechanel! You have joined the best thread on the forum!!

Hello alterego!

This is a 140 scarf from the mens dept, from last sommer... there is still one CW avelialbe in the european H-webcite... Its really nice becasue its Silk and Cotton, its soft, ligt, care free (in comparasion to the 100% silks) and has a really cool "shimmer" due to the material combination...
oh, and its called;

Maillons Vagues
Cotton and silk scarf (140 cm x 140 cm)

Ref. H552748T 11

Does anybody know how can I look at the European H-website? I'd love a combo silk/cotton scarf. The U.S. website only has 100% cotton... (from what I can see) TIA!

Silkies, some of you know these pics but I want to show again as there are so many new Silkies who haven't seen them. Orangeaddiction, this is for you and your Plisse Beaties. This is Puff, my hedgehog in a Plisse. He loves it so!

Hi RheaNJ,

Start by going to - hermes.com
You will land on the home page for Hermes.
In the upper right corner, click on the country name…i.e. "United States"
This will take you to a page that has links to all the various hermes websites.
Have fun!

And I had to show you Skunk, who loves when I get out my scarves to examine which ones need to go to cleaners. I went outside for a moment, and almost left them unprotected, but the last second, I thought to throw the white towel over the silk. Good thing as Skunk wanted right on top of the pile. He has such good taste!

Okay Tanker Toad, this is it for today! Silkies, you all know I love Axis Mundi and some of you may remember two girls born last year, Birkin and Kelly. Well, Kelly girl crawled under a tractor three days ago to give birth and the boys and DH in the house thought things would be fine. Well, they have never given birth and I knew she needed my comfort. So I kinda crawled under as best I could and soon, the first baby was entering the world sideways. Not good. I have never been a midwife, but I have watched lots of YouTube videos on the subject and believed I knew what to do. Tada! Number one girl delivered. And then number two! I loved every second and here they are--a boy and girl twenty minutes after birth and then, one hour later, they were hopping and exploring. Goats are amazing. On silk, under tractors, in arms.

Adorable - Skunk looks like he is in (hermes) bliss! :)
