Such a little beauty. I don't know why but I feel like his eyes express all the sadness of the world. Though I am sure this little baby has all the love and care of the family.
And the twilly is definitely in a right place:-)
I always find it strange that even though I can hear my cats purr loudly to express their happiness/contentment, those large soulful eyes always convey sadness. What's more, the alpha cat LOOKS saddest when she is bullying the other cats!:lolots:

Our own odd (and reproachful) critter wearing his Couvertures Twilly:
Oh pierina, your doggie is so cute with his twilly!:smile1: But is he under stress? His hindleg seems to have less hair than his body. Pls don't wait until he losses hair like THIS critter. This cat is bullied 24/7 by another cat in a shoebox apt & reacts by pulling out her hair.

Din Tini is full of critters! This half, animal critters; the other half human critters! So are the Otomi textiles that provide the inspiration. Great posts everyone! Thanks for luring me out of the work cave!

A scarf full of critters, starting with some birds, the Odd Couple x 2, Annie Faivre's monkeys and assorted serpents. This was a gift from my dear sister, who can be endearingly quirky herself. :smile1:

Les Legendes de l'Arbre:

The olive color against those rich blues is smashing! And your darling doggie!

Can someone please i.d. this scarf? I'd really love to own one if still in production or available. I figure this would be the best place to ask? Forgive me if it's not.

Hello alterego!

This is a 140 scarf from the mens dept, from last sommer... there is still one CW avelialbe in the european H-webcite... Its really nice becasue its Silk and Cotton, its soft, ligt, care free (in comparasion to the 100% silks) and has a really cool "shimmer" due to the material combination...
oh, and its called;

Maillons Vagues
Cotton and silk scarf (140 cm x 140 cm)

Ref. H552748T 11

I heard about that "virus" going around, and a whole shuttel bus of tourist beeing send back home before boarding a cruise because one of the bunch went down with some sympthoms... Im so glad u are back on your feet!
For critter week, I have also posted over a dozen times (in my head... again) There is so much to choose from!!!! but I will take some pics of my new baby witch has me totally mesmerized... coming soon... =))

Here's my fave little critter on my Jungle Love csgm, also tied to showcase him.

This is gorgeous! makes you feel like being inmerse in a cloud of blue!

Happy Birthday, Sparklelisab! Fifty is a big one, but today, fifty is young! It's the new 40.

Thank you all for your compliments on my AuCouer, I am so tempted to buy it in another color way.

Today I took out a C. Henry "Aux Portes du Palais." I had never noticed animals on it before, but they are everywhere. I just put it on top of a navy jacket, because we are back to winter coats today on the East Coast, My little burn is healing very nicely.
I really like cows! In Germany we see "lilac" cows rather often (on the packaging of a popular chocolate brand)(like so often, the most popular, but not the most delicous.. hehe) but I had not seen a pink cow before... love it! :p

Oh how I ADORE Critter Week!

Silkies, my dear friends, I turn the BIG 50 today and am wearing one of my new shawls to celebrate, and it has no critters, but I have FOUR new baby goats that will debut on this thread this week. I hope the mods don't kick me off if I overdo it.

You are such a special part of my life. I am most certainly wallet poorer due to your friendship however, and do think about winning the lotto and robbing banks more often as well, but we can pretend I didn't say that.

Deares LISA a very happy happy happy birthday to you gorgeous!!! may the whole year be filled with health, love, blessing and of course.. SILKS!!!:presents

Nico_79, congrats on the lovely cashmere. Hermes appreciates those big cats and it really shows in this design. Love the color and how you've styled it to showcase the animals! Nicely done.

Regards to all!

Thank you OrangeAddiction! I've been working on trying to tie scarves differently to showcase certain areas, not always easy, but luckily the critter is on the corner.

Loving the critter theme week also....I'm posting some pix using plisses - especially for Madame Bijoux! It's often hard to see the design on these but I'm fond of them anyway!

The first is Per Astra ad Astra (Rouge Vif/Vert Vif).

This is just gorgeous OrangeAddiction, I love the way you've tied it.

OMG! The critter looks SO cute!

D Lee, it's so odd looking it's cute! I will try to find some more critters this week to showcase. Plus my own furbaby that looks like a fat man when sitting upright.

Thank you Pegase! I try to hunt down designs that have some fun details in the corners. I can't wait to see what critters you will showcase!

The half-bow knot is great to show a part of the design that's on the diagonal, but not in the corner.

You can bring all corners to the center to create a smaller square. The middle of the sides will then become the corners.

Ahhh thanks so much for this tip Melora! :hugs: I'm still such a newbie when it comes to knotting, will definitely try creating a smaller square to see what other parts of the design come through.
