The critters are such fun.

JYVANKS, amazing detail on the Chasse,

VNSoie, I' am starying away from your critter,

Nico, I'm blown away by that Jungle Love GS. That border is a favorite color of mine, and not easy to find. I love the way you tied it.

Pierina, what incredible shots of the Legends and the Lalbhai.

Melora and kittvoo, love the details.

Today I am featuring my L'Atlantide. Didn't realize it was Annie F, and I have not found the monkey yet. So I'll show a couple of the other creatures.

Still swooning over your shawl, Nico, and waiting patiently for more to show up....

Pierina, thank you and I hope your perfect cw of JL shows up soon. :smile1:

A scarf full of critters, starting with some birds, the Odd Couple x 2, Annie Faivre's monkeys and assorted serpents. This was a gift from my dear sister, who can be endearingly quirky herself. :smile1:

Les Legendes de l'Arbre:

This is such an interesting scarf, your sister has good taste! :D

Our own odd (and reproachful) critter wearing his Couvertures Twilly:

And here is the corner of my Rencontre océane mousseline, showing the monkey, which brings me back on topic :)

It's funny that I can almost follow every week with only 10 scarves!

Wow, good eye Melora, I had to look at your photo for a while to see it!

Thanks everyone - kritter week is my favourite. I have a rule that my scarves must contain a depiction of the natural world. With some notable although exceptionally few exceptions. I love the birds is Tendresse Feline and here are my favourites. Happy kritter week everyone, I feel happy just saying it :)

Kittyvoo, very pretty! So sad I missed out on this design.

Beekmanhill, thank you. I hope this cw will find it's way to you eventually.

I am so tempted now to search to find this monkey, never knew this little tidbit!

For critters and still on yellow kick...Lalbhai ss in Klein Blue/Jaune, pico with Petit H yellow terrier, and pup's first day in garden when we brought him home.:doggie:

I'm not much of a "critter" person but this scarf does have some....

I agree, I don't have many critter designs, but ACdlV is quite plentiful. So happy to be twins with you on this one TT!

Lanit, your doggie is too cute! Also lalbhai looks so nice on you as a top, girl if only I were so tiny!

Jahna, thanks for the inspiration list. I'm new to H scarves and my first purchase was an Annie Faivre. I had no idea about the monkey!

Oh hello little guy!

Hobokenite, I'm still looking for that monkey on a few of mine and not sure I would have picked this one up! Good job! The search is rather like a rite of passage...so I'll need to have a go at it sometime!

Here are my two contributions to critter week - two of my favourite scarves - wish I could wear them now but its still parka weather here.
CanuckBagLover....Chasse is one of my favorites and yours is a beautiful colorway that I've not seen IRL before. Very nice. Plenty of critters on this design!
Oh how I ADORE Critter Week!

Silkies, my dear friends, I turn the BIG 50 today and am wearing one of my new shawls to celebrate, and it has no critters, but I have FOUR new baby goats that will debut on this thread this week. I hope the mods don't kick me off if I overdo it.

You are such a special part of my life. I am most certainly wallet poorer due to your friendship however, and do think about winning the lotto and robbing banks more often as well, but we can pretend I didn't say that.
sparkleisab....well, many happy returns and I can't wait to see your new babies! I can just manage two smaller dogs so am always amazed at what you're able to accomplish wtih your growing family of friends! Looking forward to the pictures!

Regards!

Happy Birthday sparkle! Looking lovely in your L'Instruction du Roy. Such a perfect colorway for you! Can't wait to see your new baby goats! :smile1:

Happy Birthday, Sparklelisab! Fifty is a big one, but today, fifty is young! It's the new 40.

Thank you all for your compliments on my AuCouer, I am so tempted to buy it in another color way.

Today I took out a C. Henry "Aux Portes du Palais." I had never noticed animals on it before, but they are everywhere. I just put it on top of a navy jacket, because we are back to winter coats today on the East Coast, My little burn is healing very nicely.
beekmanhill....we're cousins on this one as I have it as a moussie.....love the design and I'm sure it looks lovely on you! Saw the weather back east and it makes the rain out here not so hard to take.
Ladies and gents - so much to comment on but woe is me...no time to participate fully. I promise to be back soon.

Totally off theme today but thought I would share a classic bolduc. I'm going back to silk jersey pointus now that I'm back in the hot California sun. So fun to rediscover favs in my scarf drawer.

MYH....I missed this scarf when it was introduced and love the colors in yours. I'll bet it has become a staple in your wardrobe as it's pure color and design without complicating what one might be wearing. A beautiful scarf...blues and purples are several of my favorites.

I didn't buy anything at H yesterday (er... in fact that was the day before yesterday!) but I indulged myself with a Lancôme palette: 24h à Paris (sold only in airports). It makes me want to wear make-up ;)
I always loved their rose-engraved black cases, but with the Eiffel tower, it's even better.

(sorry to be OT)
Melora24....a beautiful palette and tres Paris chic, non? You'll have the perfect muted colors to enhace all those colorful scarves H is showing this season. A perfect choice!

Regards to all!

Les Legendes de l'Arbre:

So pretty, pierina, and what a thoughtful gift from your sister. Love seeing the details!

This picture is for etoile de mer, new glasses to match the turquoise Lalbhai mousseline. :D

So much yum in one photo, all gorgeous, pierina! Your turquoise Bolide certainly has settled in happily. Love your glasses, too, and of course your Lalbhai mousseline  is still the cat's meow! :catlick: Many thanks for posting!
