Okay Tanker Toad, this is it for today! Silkies, you all know I love Axis Mundi and some of you may remember two girls born last year, Birkin and Kelly. Well, Kelly girl crawled under a tractor three days ago to give birth and the boys and DH in the house thought things would be fine. Well, they have never given birth and I knew she needed my comfort. So I kinda crawled under as best I could and soon, the first baby was entering the world sideways. Not good. I have never been a midwife, but I have watched lots of YouTube videos on the subject and believed I knew what to do. Tada! Number one girl delivered. And then number two! I loved every second and here they are--a boy and girl twenty minutes after birth and then, one hour later, they were hopping and exploring. Goats are amazing. On silk, under tractors, in arms.

You talking to me????
Ok I can love your beautiful goats from afar?
Yup - don't have too many critter scarves and with my travel schedule no fuzzy critters IRL
Don't hate me... You are so warm and wonderful with your animals
But we can all play to our strengths-
So many crisis in the world in past weeks haven't had time to breathe- but your animals are a delight - seriously
Even from my urban view they are adorable
Impressed by your midwifing skills-
Way beyond my skill set

Nico, orangeAddiction, etoile - thank you for the compliments! Pup upstages H at even the boutique where he is quite popular. He enjoys prancing around the store visiting the various SA's and customers. I will need to find a twilly for him a la Pierina's beautiful pup. BTW Pierina - he does not look sad to me - just very cozy and gazing deeply at his stylish owner:)

After seeing Chestnut's beautiful PF pochette I snapped this one up as soon as I spied it in the men's silk case. I appreciate this little size a bit more for the details the smaller format becomes quite frameable too. Tied in the rosette form....enjoying the turning to spring for all the bird lovers on our thread here.

Hiya Lanit honey !!
Your pictures are spectacular
I also have this little pochette
Doesn't it just glow?
And on you- it's so pretty
It's a little gem!

Hi ladies, I have just started to collect Hermes scarves and have been lurking on this thread. With the encouragement of D. Lee I thought I would post my first scarf that fits the theme for the week.

I also wonder if this would really fit the "critter" theme but when I saw that jyyanks has posted it in one cw I thought I would add another cw. It is the third scarf I bought but by far my favorite.

I am so glad to be joining this thread.! It makes me feel like I am on my way to developing a well rounded collection.

Stylemechanel, welcome and so happy you decided to post! :hugs: Hope to see some mod shots from you eventually! :graucho:

Sparklelisab, glad to hear both babies were delivered safely. Sounds like you were a very good midwife! What will you name the babies? Picotin and Bolide? :D

A few of the critters from Tous les Bateaux du Monde. There are more birds, some butterflies, and even a few sea critters but I thought I'd save them for those theme weeks later on. Love the border on this design!

TahoeBlue, lovely details! I never knew there were so many critters!

Aack - I don't! I purchased it in FSH and it's a Le Songe de la Licorne but not the CW#. I can try looking for my receipt to see if it was listed there.
Thank you for the compliment!

Thank you, jyyanks! It appears to be a 90cm silk twill…or is it a 140 cashmere/silk? I assumed it's a 90, as the texture in the close-up looks more like twill than cashmere/silk.

Etoile de mer, I know your question was not directed towards me, but yes it's a 90cm. I have seen the same cw in my boutique previously.

it's 90cm silk twill.....would love to own cashmere one day but have been on a silk twill binge!

Many thanks, Nico and jyyanks! :flowers: I'll inquire when next at my boutique. A bit of wishing on my part that it was a current season CSGM, but likely better it isn't! I already have too many 140s on my wish list this spring!

Found critters on DH newest tie

Hello dearest - and what a marvelous and adorable combination of critters on DH's tie!

Finally, a little time for the critters. I could swear I heard the first "peeper" (wonder what those little frogs are really called?).

Wore my GM "La Vie du Grand Nord" today (lots of critters-someone post?) but I am saving it for "workhorse" week.

Here are two of my favorite scarves. First "L'Ombres et Lumieres" Annie Faivre, love to wear it, but I really bought it because I was crazy about the light and shadow. Reminded me of an Edvard Munch painting: http://artunframed.com/Gallery/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Summer-Nights-Dream-Edvard-Munch.jpg

Jahna, you know how I feel about that first scarf - ha,ha - still don't remember the name of the painting or artist  and the bird scarf I have never seen before and love it. My feeder is swarmed by blackbirds right now.

Wow, 2 designs I have never seen. ( but then I am a newbie) .

Really love that annie F one with all the hidden animaux!

Silkies, some of you know these pics but I want to show again as there are so many new Silkies who haven't seen them. Orangeaddiction, this is for you and your Plisse Beaties. This is Puff, my hedgehog in a Plisse. He loves it so!

:hbeat: Fur (and prickle) kids!!! I  them! Way to go on the birthing there, Momma Lisa, you did good!
I'm still jonesing for a goat...or two, or three. I keep catching a raised brow when I'm playing YouTube vids of goats.
We had lots of wild hedgehogs where I grew up, I wanted to nab one as a pet but my folks weren't having it.

Another critter scarf (didn't even notice this until I looked)

This is such a pretty cw, jyyanks

No critters IRL sadly. I am going to check my collection for a critter scarf to wear tonight to an affair, one that I can tie to show the critter as someone did quite beautifully on this thread. Any other tie recommendations?
