Two D'Origny scarves I wore over the weekend:

Grande tenue (orig edition)
Éperon d'or
Dear momasaurus,
I usually choose colorful scarves but I adore both two classical scarves. It is difficult to find out classical one these days.I love the way you tie, too.:worthy:

Wow, I have been away from this thread for quite a few days with house guests…so many beautiful scarves and wonderful posts to catch up on. My apologies in advance for simply thanking all of you who have posted pictures of, and stories about your scarves this week. I have seen many that I did not know existed and am intrigued by quite a few! (Especially your Triomphe du Paladin rosamonde):smile1:

My small contribution to this weeks theme:

Festival des Amazones tied in a flower knot
Cavalcadour in a cowboy knot
Multicolor scard is my all time favarite. Both look beautiful on you,Bova:tup:

Cavalcadour is featured next season!

Thanks for the ideas, cherryblossum and Melora! I will get the scarf out again and play with it some more. :p

Birkinmary, we will miss your gorgeous photos this week! I hope you are off traveling someplace nice.

Bova, lovely silks in lovely ties! Those brights look great on you.
Thank you rosamonde! May I ask if the Paladin you posted is 70cm or 90cm format…looks like maybe 70cm?

Love Love Love!!! Great colors, fabulous patterns and they both look great on you.

Kindred spirit here, rosamonde, big history buff and I adore old velum manuscripts, such spellbinding works of art!

I love hearing that, BritAbroad! We are twins! I too am a fan of old MS of all sorts...for their calligraphy, their illuminations, and even their early examples of music notation...so beautiful.

Do you have any H scarves that reflect this love of yours?

Many thanks Rosamunde, Birkinmary, cherryblossom,Lanit ,momasorus for your kind words .
Rosamunde I'm bowled over by how lovely your Paladin looks and found the lilac tones still managed to stand out within the complex design. I love that inner border too .
I do find most of my older scarves very formal and find the very plain wide borders of old diifficult to play with , this one is perfect.

Melora Nice scarf necklace looking very fresh , and it's reminding me to revisit that these warm days .

Bova Love your gavroches and agree they are the most fun ! Festival is so good in gavroche format and I love your fuschia c'way.

Bova, I am with you on the gavroche love. However, you have much more nimble fingers than I to achieve that adorable little flower! Great looks. Thank you.

Thank you, cherryblossom. These classical designs come up on eBay and other resale sites; keep looking!

More from d'Origny: L'instruction du roi 90 and Festival gavroche. I posted these already in my top 5, I think, so here are some fun archival shots.
