Thank you! I actually didn't realize how well these 2 scarves match!!! Here's a quick pic of the Eperon tied. Sorry for the blurry pics but my 8 year old was kind enough to take these pics for me.

Even blurred, this is so lovely on you---!!

I second frou frou's comments about this lovely combination on you. These are my favorite colors together and DS did a great job as little cameraman!

Today sharing Calvacador for Mr. Origny.

Gasped. Dang, look at that violet color on you oh Queen of everything. Fab U Lous!

i have so few of Abadie's designs but here is a favorite cotton scarf that brings memories of archery outings with my father and sisters. The bow featured in this scarf looks just like his bow and the red tipped arrows! Arc en Ciel cotton 70 cm.

So striking, and don't you treasure the cotton scarves ? Is this one a 70cm ?
I found one which I use all Summer as a hairband, less slippery than silk , so I'm constantly searching for more .

I simply  your Cavalcadour in grey and pale mauve , and especially in the weave knot which makes it look so interesting .

My contribution Julie Abadie this week will surely count as my Brins dOr overload [not again !]
It's still my most useful shawl and was a real E*** steal as it has a few tiny holes which bother me not a whit. A Winter picture from archives of my most worn item , ever!

And then here's my least , well never, worn mousseline stole Eperons d'Or Love love the way the design looks in this format, and find the thing dreamy but I'm just so not a chiffon girl [ despite being Frou frou ]
It lies in wait for the right occasion .

So pretty, Lanit! I had my eye on the same CW of the maxi-twilly and am kind of sorry I let it go, especially now that I see it on you. It (and you) look/s lovely.

Thank you rosamonde - this one is now available on H.com - hurry:)

Thank you sweets - I can't wait to see you modeling your new Evi!

Thanks froufrou - the Arc en Ciel is indeed a 70. I have three cottons in this size and almost released them a couple of years ago. But like you have found them to be so convenient as head scarves under a great hat ( my straw fedora seems to work with H scarves perfectly)!:graucho:

I love your commentary. You are so right on. And this makes me sad as I will pine for a scarf only to find it unbecoming on. I am trying to accept that some beauty simply cannot come home with me; it's just for looking.

...Yes; especially when we get to enjoy vicariously through our friends on TPF!

The converse is that sometimes I decide that some scarves are NOT FOR ME--but then I see the lovelies modeling them here and realize that I *must* have them after all...

Pat Peanut for me! ;)

I remember this mousseline well dear - and I cannot believe you have not been able to reach for it for the summer! It looks positively dreamy on you! How about combining it with leather?:graucho:

frou frou, absolutely in love with this wonderful Eperons d'Or mousse. It looks divine on you

For Julia Abadie--here is my colorway of Triomphe du Paladin. I love the theme of this--St. George slaying the dragon--and all the medieval imagery. I also really like the periwinkle center field and border, but they are hard to get to show in a lot of ties.
