Jyyanks
, that's a really cool Eperon d'Or! I would love to see how it looks tied with that one orange section. And it coordinates so nicely with the colors in the Cheval Fleuri. :p

Thank you! I actually didn't realize how well these 2 scarves match!!! Here's a quick pic of the Eperon tied. Sorry for the blurry pics but my 8 year old was kind enough to take these pics for me.

Sigh. The multi-quote is back to not working again.

cherryblossum - welcome to the thread! Your Fleuri is a lovely colorway and the way you are wearing it is charming.

Blue lavender, orange and white  my fave colour combination .
Plant the garden in purple, blue and orange but finding the right accents in scarves isn't easy .

I think I know just what you mean...I often find other CWs of certain scarves to be objectively prettier than the ones that happen to suit me the best.
We now return you to our regularly scheduled program. Sorry for the digression--

Digressions are the best thing, keep them coming !
Yes, I'm guilty of buying the one I love rather than the one that loves me .Funnily enough after a few times of wearing ,I find that the previously draining colour way looks fine .
Maybe wishful thinking, however I think we can wear more than we think , even without the need for loads of makeup. Just a case of the eye adjusting.
I've never been a 'season' girl as that seems so restricting, but my recent foray back into blues after years of veering towards red and orange has been so liberating .

Hmm, what happened to multi-quotes? It's not working?
OK, I'll try to do this from memory:

Seton Thankyou for sharing these and modelling them so beautifully .You always turn me back to those lovely older designs and show they still look fresh and modern.
How many times have I wavered over buying a Brise de Charme . I do love that design and seeeing it modelled for the first time is brilliantly enabling .
As for Paladin , that's new to me and a real gem .

fab colourway, jyyanks! And thank you to the budding photographer.

SUPER-WOW!!! This looks AMAZING!! :faint:

That first one is gorgeous! Such a great color combo.

Thank you all for the kind words and compliments. My son was very excited to help, especially after I showed him that I posted the pics he took online!

So pretty, Lanit! I had my eye on the same CW of the maxi-twilly and am kind of sorry I let it go, especially now that I see it on you. It (and you) look/s lovely.

LadyBaga, I have been missing your smile!!!! So glad to see your post again! :smooch:

Oh Mars cousin! You always look great with your scarves! I wish I could do gold scarves as well as you do!

Sending my long overdue compliments to Croisette7 and Birkinmary for your wonderful and enviable scarf collection and your kind contributions. I can no longer post because I was drooling all over my keyboard everytime I saw your posts and caused it to crash (j/k, LOL).

Cherryblossum, Summersolo: Welcome to the thread and thank you for sharing your photos!

Back to lurking...

Dear Sparkle , this is ubercute ! thanks for sharing ! hugs :)

Hey you cutie patootie!! Good to see your avatar again, now where is that beautiful mug of yours??

Rushing in to share my two brightest, both shawls .
Washed silk GM , Psyche in oranges , cerise and ochre .My favourite large silk and not a c'way I've seen anywhere else.

and my treasured CSGM Concours d'Etriers Waving to Lanit who wears this so well . :sunshine:

Oh frou frou, I almost fell of the breakfast bar chair. I love Psyche and have never seen this cw that screams to me. I think it is a MUST. Oh no.......

You could charge us by the minute showing pictures this sweet, or maybe there should be a license to be allowed to show such lovely creatures!!! I am an avid knitter, and last year at a farmers' market I came across a couple of skeins of handspun, natural beige coloured yarn, made from a mix of sheep's wool and goat. It was just enough to knit a cushion cover 40x40 cm. This is a mix I've never come across until then, and the long goat Harstad makes it unusual and fun, so since then goats have indeed got closed to my heart!

Bless your heart eliwon. I do love Peanut. She is grown now and had her first and only baby, Butter.

I think I know just what you mean...I often find other CWs of certain scarves to be objectively prettier than the ones that happen to suit me the best. Not that I don't think your CW of Paladin *isn't* pretty--it's just that I completely understand that some CWs seem to come to life on us, and others do nothing--or worse, drain the life out of us!

For instance, a couple of seasons ago I was terribly smitten with this colorway of Le Robinson Chic. Even though I still find it deeply satisfying to look at--the color scheme is almost thrillingly beautiful to me--I had to admit, after trying it on every which way in the H boutique, that it just didn't work on me. My heart was broken (not least because there wasn't another CW of this design that WOULD work on me), but better not to have made an expensive mistake, I suppose. :smile1:

We now return you to our regularly scheduled program. Sorry for the digression--

I love your commentary. You are so right on. And this makes me sad as I will pine for a scarf only to find it unbecoming on. I am trying to accept that some beauty simply cannot come home with me; it's just for looking.
