MYH, Jahna, Anfang - Thank you for the compliment on New England garden. It still gives me shivers thinking now I finally own it.

LOL, I ain't have no love for squirrels so I'll pretend that I ignore that one and another one to the left border as well.

Oh I always call this fruit dragon fruit. It's grown a lot in the Southern part of my country and is incredibly sweet. The ones I could buy in the U.S. can't hold a candle to it in terms of sweetness.
If I have to take one scarf to the island, it'd be the Aux Portes du Palais mousseline. My first GM and the GM that I damaged... So given that it's been thoroughly broken in, so I won't mind wearing it to even the most weather-challenging areas on earth.

But if I can't bring GM, then of course the Lumieres de Paris in my avatar would go with me.

Fruit: Jackfruit. Yes it is an odd choice, but with this fruit I can eat the flesh sections and boil the seeds as well. And do you know that you can even preserve wine in the flesh while the fruit is still on the tree in order to get jackfruit wine? Cool stuff huh!
Btw, don't mistake jackfruit with the stinky durian .

Chestnutty, your Aux Portes du Palais mousseline is totally gorgeous! I am in awe

My scarf for a desert island would be my Fleurs d'Indiennes in the GM washed silk format. It goes with so many colors and is big and luscious.
My island of choice would be the San Juan Islands in WA and my preferred fruit would be a black cherry (Herzkirsche).

Maedi, this is one of my all time favorite designs and your cw is a grail for me. I would bring her too! We can make some very good black cherry wine with your black cherries..I will throw in some blueberries for good measure!:smile1:

:graucho:Ors Bleus d'Afrique and blueberries, my dear, you hit the score! :smile1:

I SHOULD have thought of Robinson Chic, obviously! Bravo CocoSoCo! Great choice!

These roses and your Plumes totally fit the deal! Congrats my dear!

This Fleurs d'Indiennes is outstanding, Maedi! Coupled with San Juan and black cherries, you hit the score!

Anfang, thank you so much my dear! I couldn't leave my one and only mousse behind! hee, hee! Plus, she does come in handy for bug protection! ha!:D

I LIKE that smiley Vitamina!

Loving all the beautiful scarves on our desert island. I see Maedi is already so comfortable she is lying down with her Fleurs d'Indiennes; a GM silk no less??? Well she might have something: the nights might get cold.

With so many of us arriving there will be...

TRASH!! So I am getting a head start and bringing my own:

Jahna
, so happy you saw the smiley! I thought they were perfect for you!:smile1: I love what you wrote in your post (I adore your humor and wit). I really love your Grand Vent too; I have never seen this design before. I bet she looks amazing with your red boots and knotted! ;)

So I had a hard think about this 'desert island scarf' theme, and came up with this:

Maybe one of these 'Folies' would come to my rescue, don't you think? ;)

Here it is worn, with my new scarf ring! This is one that I often wear as a top by itself though, because I just love this fun design.

Yeah, we're saved! Although since Vigee gave us air conditioning and there's cherry wine, who'd ever want to leave? !

What a fun theme!!! I can only take ONE? Seriously? Well, as of right this very minute I would take my first ever purchased scarf: Zaba plisse (2010). I may change my mind in the next ten minutes....
Fruit of choice: White flesh peaches! They smell like roses!

(I had to come back to edit because I forgot my island!) I would say Nantucket! (Ooops! Not tropical. Is that o.k.?)

I love this design! I have an enamel in it, but wish I had bought the scarf, too! Such a happy design, and you picked a beautiful colorway! You look great, Tiphaine!

Beautiful choice, Maedi! Maybe we can been roommates on the island so that I can borrow your scarf! :smile1:

Jahna, You make me smile! :D I wish I had one ounce of your creativity!

Beautiful choices everyone. I love to pop by and look at all the pretty scarves everyone is sharing here.
I do not have many in my collection, only 5 so I can not contribute very often but my desert island scarf would have to be this gorgeous Fantaisies Indiennes. It was a gift from my hubs and I love everything about it ...ImageUploadedByPurseForum1403068203.776112.jpg
