My scarf for a desert island would be my Fleurs d'Indiennes in the GM washed silk format. It goes with so many colors and is big and luscious.
My island of choice would be the San Juan Islands in WA and my preferred fruit would be a black cherry (Herzkirsche).

Kitty, I am not MYH, but the 2nd right one is Ex Libris en Kimonos.

KittyS- here you go. Some archive pics of Turandot. She is one of my faves.

Thank you both for your replies!😘 Sorry that I made a mistake; I meant 2nd from the left. 😅 Luckily MYH figured out my mistake. Thanks for posting the full scarf, MYH! ❤️

Croisette, I am so impressed that you could tell which scarf the second from the right was just like that! You are a scarf master! 👍

Good choice! We are twins on this one and she is one of my faves too.

MMMhh. That is a tough one! ha! I would say my one and only mousseline. She is not to warm for tropical daytime weather and gives some warmth come those breezy Island nights! I guess it could also act as a netting for bugs and mosquitos!!;)! As for a fruit, it would be blueberries! Love my blues...even in my food! ha! I could even prepare a facial with my free time!
(Ors Bleus d' Afrique)
:graucho:Ors Bleus d'Afrique and blueberries, my dear, you hit the score! :smile1:

Desert island, you say? Well, Le Robinson Chic, of course!
Here with my favorite tequila and glasses for island margaritas.

I'm assuming limes will be provided.:graucho::graucho::graucho:
I SHOULD have thought of Robinson Chic, obviously! Bravo CocoSoCo! Great choice!

My desert island (at least today) is a rose garden in full bloom. I wear my Plumes mousse - others have pointed out the uses of mousses on the island, and if it's one and only, simple and classic is a good idea. For my fruit, I'll gather the rose hips and make Turkish Delight. BTW, the yellow rose is a kind of cousin of mine - it's called David Rockefeller's Golden Sparrow.
These roses and your Plumes totally fit the deal! Congrats my dear!

This Fleurs d'Indiennes is outstanding, Maedi! Coupled with San Juan and black cherries, you hit the score!

Vigee - Hi 5 for being twin!!! The Doigts de Fee looks like a million bucks on you!
Sophieg - to drool for honeymoon photos, my friend! I love how your blue Promenade de Platon looks so great on you! So does the pink Au Coeur de la Vie!

I have a lot of hunt treasures in my years of hunting, probably not a lot of grails like markova, birkinmary, hermesick, or sparklelisab has. But, here's the one that, to date, took me the most time (three years) to hunt down in the exact colorway of mint grey that I wanted, in the condition that I wanted, and from a seller that I wanted (fellow scarf collector instead of a reseller):
Jardin de Nouvelle Angleterre (Garden of New England) by Toutsy. On this scarf you can see a bit of Central Park and a bit of Au Bord du l'Eau (by Toutsy as well). The scarf features a very tranquil scene in the suburb of New England during late summer - it helps me relax and takes me away from the hustle and bustle of the place where I live.

This took my heart away

And the little fellas here: one raccoon looks like he was busted in a photo for trespassing :D, and the other one is busy drinking up water from the pond.

and this little chipmunk whose eyes are a bit alien-like. He's busy minding his own business, hahaha
Chestnutty, what an unusual and pretty scarf, that New England scene. I love the little raccoons, as long as they are not real ones on my back porch! Congratulations on your patience and determination paying off!

Thanks !!!

I'm diying to come back to Paris... and not only for Hermès....
Me too! I'm dying for some Parisian sweets!

Thank you! :hugs:

Jahna, just found the perfect smiley for you!!:whiteflag::whiteflag:

I LIKE that smiley Vitamina!

Loving all the beautiful scarves on our desert island. I see Maedi is already so comfortable she is lying down with her Fleurs d'Indiennes; a GM silk no less??? Well she might have something: the nights might get cold.

With so many of us arriving there will be...

TRASH!! So I am getting a head start and bringing my own:

Good thinking, Jahna! Grand Vent is one I've long admired - do you have any modelling pix?
