MMMhh. That is a tough one! ha! I would say my one and only mousseline. She is not to warm for tropical daytime weather and gives some warmth come those breezy Island nights! I guess it could also act as a netting for bugs and mosquitos!!;)! As for a fruit, it would be blueberries! Love my blues...even in my food! ha! I could even prepare a facial with my free time! :graucho:

Jardin de Nouvelle Angleterre (Garden of New England) by Toutsy. On this scarf you can see a bit of Central Park and a bit of Au Bord du l'Eau (by Toutsy as well). The scarf features a very tranquil scene in the suburb of New England during late summer - it helps me relax and takes me away from the hustle and bustle of the place where I live.

This took my heart away

And the little fellas here: one raccoon looks like he was busted in a photo for trespassing :D, and the other one is busy drinking up water from the pond.

and this little chipmunk whose eyes are a bit alien-like. He's busy minding his own business, hahaha

Chestnutty, thanks for sharing this beautiful CW of "Jardins"! Here is my fav detail from my CW (look closely for the hidden squirrel):

I'm so late on this that I lost any hope to catch up... But browsing back, special mentions to markova (your BW are breathtaking :woot:), to Vigee and Chestnutty for the superb Doigts de Fée, and Chestnutty my dear, I can see there that your navy blue Quadrige jacquard has been successful! Bravo my dear, even if I was sure you would find it! Didn't you successfully hunt for me this Brides de Gala en Désordre which was a long-time HG? And I surely would have posted this one in the HG theme of the week if ... I was not a week late! ;) I go on and on catching up! :D

I will go first! I actually gave this week's theme a lot of thought and am a wee bit surprised at my choice. If I were on this island with only one piece of silk to mesmerize me, it would have to be Honore's La Femme aux Semelles de Vent. The beauty and story it projects could keep my mind busy for as long as I was captive on the lush island--no washing machine, no phone, no kitchen to clean.
Only
ME.
La Femme
and Apricots!!

Sparklelisab, your La Femme is gorgeous!

Croisette, the perfect Island scarf! Beautiful!!

And of course some of my other scarves got to come along for the trip as well, so I thought I'd share a few action shots

L'Arbre de Vie on the water in Venice
La Promenade de Platon on the terrace of Saint Mark's basilica overlooking Piazza San Marco
Le Laboratoire du Temps in Rivoli, at the monument for Napoleon's victory there

I somehow managed not to include any action shots with food, but there was a lot of eating involved in this trip :smile1:
sophieg, congrats about your pics! It seems you had a great honeymoon in Venice, you look radiant!

Les Legendes de l'Arbre in this colorway was my grail for so many years. I was thrilled to get it on *bay just a few weeks ago for $102 (after using *bay bucks)!! And it's in excellent condition!! :cloud9:

What. A. Beauty! Congrats about this successful hunt!

With the pic :)
Melora, I hope you have had a safe and smooth trip to Ca. We're waiting for your unpacking!

I have many grails on my wish list (and my wish list keeps growing after seeing all the beautiful scarves here) but here are the two that I've been fortunate to find (so far) - Jardins d'Hiver and Qalamdan
Two red beauties, CanuckBagLover! Major congrats!

I fell in love with this Flora Graeca when I saw a picture of it with a big SOLD sign across it. :nogood: Sadness.

It took a few years, and I rejected other CWs, but eventually I nabbed this one on *bay. I am always surprised by how pretty and subtle and versatile it is!

One of my HGs, Rencontre Oceane, I wear this silk at least once a week. Now I need it in more CWs. Pics from my archives:

momasaurus, Vigee, I'm totally smitten by the subtle, subdued cws of these scarves! Bravo to both!

I don't know if these qualify, since it didn't take me years to find them. However, they are both from previous seasons, so it did take some efforts to hunt them down after obsessing over them for the past few months. I am over-joyed to have them :cloud9:
The Equateur

And TR!
Two beauties, Kitty S! We're cousins on this Tigre Royal! ;)

MYH thank you! I just saw your Hermès à Beverly Hills mousse, and it's absolutely gorgeous.

It's funny, because at first, I was going for a gavroche. They had one of favorite design, Le jardin sur le toit, but the cw was not that great, and nothing appealed to me. And just when the boarding started, I thought about the twillies, and it was love at first sight with Colliers de chien, even though I don't like this design as a scarf! I chose between blue and red in less than 10 seconds ;)

Here I'm wearing it with a mother of pearl ring.
Melora, this one was made for you!

Markova!!!.... Now the truth finally came out!Soo... YOU are the ones who kept beating me on those bidding wars!.... Haahaa, can't blame you tho, they are beautiful. I will find mine, someday. Congrats!
Les Girafes was one of my grails. I finally got one in a cw I love, but the GM CS with the red border I fell in love with is still haunting me. Someday, my love.....:girlsigh:
And a great Les Girafes! Congrats, Carrelover!

DESERT ISLAND? SCARF??? Aux dear.

Well, it would have to be a 70cm (everything else is too hot). And I would want this one because I would be waving all the flags I have so Tuiga would come and rescue me.

Dear silkies, I am buried with work and so depressed to not have time to play on the thread lately! Too many exquisite images to catch up and comment on - Markova, Vigee, Melora, MYH, etal - marvelous sharing!

Mousselines have taken over my huntress eyes. This one took almost five years to finally find and it still captivates my heart when I see it. Croquis champs de courses by Watrigant. BTW if anyone loves it there is a twill version available on the Bay!
Ah, lanit, I suffer from same disease these days... This mousseline is a perfection, and you're so lucky you can wear bright orange! A thing of beauty, I mean it!

Today my very long hunted TR GM arrived!View attachment 2650877
The best cw ever of this design! Major congrats, Croisette!

Oh geez! How could I forget this one. My latest score

Gosh, darn, MYH! Once more, a splendid pic! I want them ALL !!

Hello Silkies, I too must go back to look at all the beauties! MYH, love your pieces and honored to be twins several times.

I would like to share my Treasure Hunt find! This piece was made years before I even knew what Hermes was, but once I saw her on the forum, the search began. (Out of desperation, I bought the brown, neutral cw but she just didn't work for me and found a new, loving home.) It was absolute Providence that I found her and she came with a Jige from the same lovely seller. Thank you for letting me share my new shawl and bag (a reveal with my silk besties if you will...)
Gosh, sparklelisab, this pic takes my heart away !!! What a find! Congrats, my dear!

Vigee - Hi 5 for being twin!!! The Doigts de Fee looks like a million bucks on you!
Sophieg - to drool for honeymoon photos, my friend! I love how your blue Promenade de Platon looks so great on you! So does the pink Au Coeur de la Vie!

I have a lot of hunt treasures in my years of hunting, probably not a lot of grails like markova, birkinmary, hermesick, or sparklelisab has. But, here's the one that, to date, took me the most time (three years) to hunt down in the exact colorway of mint grey that I wanted, in the condition that I wanted, and from a seller that I wanted (fellow scarf collector instead of a reseller):
Jardin de Nouvelle Angleterre (Garden of New England) by Toutsy. On this scarf you can see a bit of Central Park and a bit of Au Bord du l'Eau (by Toutsy as well). The scarf features a very tranquil scene in the suburb of New England during late summer - it helps me relax and takes me away from the hustle and bustle of the place where I live.

Chestnutty, this one is outstanding! You're the best hunter ever, my dear, I mean it!

KittyS- here you go. Some archive pics of Turandot. She is one of my faves.

Turandot!

after many boutique visits from Honolulu to Berlin, I finally found Voyage de Pytheas in a CW that was good for me:
scarf1, a great cw of Voyage! Bravo!

ANFANG!! Welcome back! You HAVE been missed :p:smile1::D
Hi my dear Jahna! :hugs:So sorry I've been so long MIA! You too love this Claque au Vent, Even if it's a 70, it's a jewel! And so is Tuiga!

So, Mistress Sparklelisab, an island, a scarf, a fruit? Here you go : an island, Tiga, east of Loyauté Islands, a mousseline for the fresh nights, Rêve de Gloria, and a fruit : pitaya, for sure :
