Hello Silkies, I too must go back to look at all the beauties! MYH, love your pieces and honored to be twins several times.

I would like to share my Treasure Hunt find! This piece was made years before I even knew what Hermes was, but once I saw her on the forum, the search began. (Out of desperation, I bought the brown, neutral cw but she just didn't work for me and found a new, loving home.) It was absolute Providence that I found her and she came with a Jige from the same lovely seller. Thank you for letting me share my new shawl and bag (a reveal with my silk besties if you will...)

Oh lisa, your pics are fab! :hugs:

I'm popping in to say  everybody

It's been a huge treat to see what everyone's precious hard won finds have been (or still are). It spurred me on to post this week because I only have them thanks mainly to my tPF scarf friends on this thread

Like lanit's amazing Watrigant mousse, 2 of mine were also Hubert de Watigant's but Le Carnaval de Venise and Dans les Branches de l'ombu. I saw Carnaval on this thread and was more bowled over than prob. any other at first sight, and the tPFer that helped me acquire it I'll always connect with Carnevale di Venezia, it was fitting we saw an exhibition on Diaghilev together (I also still have to find a Ballets Russes)

The other one I really wanted and could handily find a picture of was The Original New Orleans Creole Jazz 1923. Strangely my mother wouldn't give me hers :shrugs: ....but wait for it *jazz drum roll* she found another she liked the cw better and gave me her original if I swapped something with her that I can't even remember, I certainly got the best of the deal :woohoo:

I almost missed out on Zaba, but due to a last minute life or death speech in my H secured my fave cw (albeit with lip gloss on) and then went on to find a pink too. And yet another almost miss was La Grande Tenue issued for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. I saw it at a the Windsor Horse Show and thought :nogood: changed my mind and had to dance around H whist an Australian tourist worried about whether or not she was a 'pink person' with the last one in London. Then she said something about thinking it over so I said "You'd better buy it because if you don't I will". She laughed and gave it me :yahoo:

I shall be back to comment, England is playing Italy for the World Cup (football/soccer) I'm sure you understand :D
Papertiger, lovely Carnaval de Venise! We are cousins, and in fact today I was wearing my navy, yellow, orange and red CW. This is a scarf I would buy again and again in other colors! Love the contrast hem. :D

Vigee - Hi 5 for being twin!!! The Doigts de Fee looks like a million bucks on you!
Sophieg - to drool for honeymoon photos, my friend! I love how your blue Promenade de Platon looks so great on you! So does the pink Au Coeur de la Vie!

I have a lot of hunt treasures in my years of hunting, probably not a lot of grails like markova, birkinmary, hermesick, or sparklelisab has. But, here's the one that, to date, took me the most time (three years) to hunt down in the exact colorway of mint grey that I wanted, in the condition that I wanted, and from a seller that I wanted (fellow scarf collector instead of a reseller):
Jardin de Nouvelle Angleterre (Garden of New England) by Toutsy. On this scarf you can see a bit of Central Park and a bit of Au Bord du l'Eau (by Toutsy as well). The scarf features a very tranquil scene in the suburb of New England during late summer - it helps me relax and takes me away from the hustle and bustle of the place where I live.

This took my heart away

And the little fellas here: one raccoon looks like he was busted in a photo for trespassing :D, and the other one is busy drinking up water from the pond.

and this little chipmunk whose eyes are a bit alien-like. He's busy minding his own business, hahaha

Gorgeous mousse, MYH! Simply breathtaking, I love the detail in this design.
Thanks hon! Are you east coast or west coast right now?

You got the belle mexique shawl and a jige at the same time? Lucky girl. I can only hope I will stumble upon such a find one day.

Dear Silkies, I have digged in my closet and found 3 treasures for the weekly theme:
1. Saltmarsh, a special edition for the Savannah College
2. Les Ameriques
3. the wonderful Kermit/Kleeberg edition (here is a nice story behind: during my vacation to Paris a
have met a lovely lady from Dallas, who has offered the favour to organize this one for me
because it is not available in Europe. I am very thankful she did it and I love it so much.

Cr0isette - exceptional scarves. I have never seen saltmarsh - thanks for sharing.

Thanks for complement on my TR. I also just started. Your one week worth of collection is more impressive than my entire one What is the name of the scarf second from the right? It has a Chinese character on it. I would love to see the whole scarf if you don't have the name. TIA!

Yes, second one from the right is ex libris en kimonos but the one with a Chinese character is the second one from the left. Did you mean that one? If so, it's Turandot. I will post some pics in my next post. Need to use the PF app.

I feel as though I'm showing the same scarves over and over each week:

1. I tried purchasing the Comme des Garcons/Hermes collaborative scarf at the CDG in NYC, but they were sold out. I finally found it at Dover Street Market in London and ordered it online.
2. Thanks to great intel from a TPFer, I phoned the H boutique in Dallas for the Caesar Kleberg Kermit Oliver scarf. I believe it was only sold in Texas.
3. After looking for the right colorway for months, I found this Kermit Oliver Mythologies des Hommes on eBay!
4. I had been looking on eBay for Tresor Royal du Benin, never worn, still in the box. I finally found it a couple of months ago!
Dooneybaby - you are downright encouraged to keep showing your same scarves. They are so lovely.

Vigee - Hi 5 for being twin!!! The Doigts de Fee looks like a million bucks on you!
Sophieg - to drool for honeymoon photos, my friend! I love how your blue Promenade de Platon looks so great on you! So does the pink Au Coeur de la Vie!

Chestnutty - I think I will call you scarf sniper from now on! This ones a corker of a find. :worthy:

I have never seen saltmarsh but love that design!

after many boutique visits from Honolulu to Berlin, I finally found Voyage de Pytheas in a CW that was good for me:

Okay Silkies!! Gather ‘round for this week’s theme: ONE
One? Only ONE? Really? (Yes, and no creative cheating :giggles::heart:)
Let’s keep reality at bay and choose ONE scarf/piece of silk to take to a deserted Island for aesthetic reasons only.
Also, if you want, share your ONE favorite fruit that you will have to eat on the island.
Island.
Silk.
Fruit.

I will go first! I actually gave this week's theme a lot of thought and am a wee bit surprised at my choice. If I were on this island with only one piece of silk to mesmerize me, it would have to be Honore's La Femme aux Semelles de Vent. The beauty and story it projects could keep my mind busy for as long as I was captive on the lush island--no washing machine, no phone, no kitchen to clean.
Only
ME.
La Femme
and Apricots!!
