Thank you! I will keep looking for you! (XL pm size GHW, correct?) A lovely tpfer in the U.S. said that her SA claims more of these will be trickling into stores, soon.

sophieg, congrats about your pics! It seems you had a great honeymoon in Venice, you look radiant!
Sophieg - to drool for honeymoon photos, my friend! I love how your blue Promenade de Platon looks so great on you! So does the pink Au Coeur de la Vie!
Thank you, dear Anfang, Chestnutty and sparklelisabOh my goodness---no way can I comment on everyone individually so just a few comments:
Sophig: Congrats our Curly Doll! We have missed you.
Yes, please! Thanks, Ladybaga!![]()
Gee, Vigee, did you have to bring those macaroons along?!!! I have eaten six of them. (I bet as sleek and beautiful as you are, you never eat macaroons). Grumble.
Well, now I am really hungry...![]()
Wait! Is that Normandy over there? Deauville I think... I am heading for the plages. I think I see fruit; anyone know what those things (lower left) are?

My scarf for a desert island would be De la Mer au Ciel, although here I am dressed for a desert island with air conditioning!
What a fun theme!!! I can only take ONE? Seriously? Well, as of right this very minute I would take my first ever purchased scarf: Zaba plisse (2010). I may change my mind in the next ten minutes....
Fruit of choice: White flesh peaches! They smell like roses!
(I had to come back to edit because I forgot my island!) I would say Nantucket! (Ooops! Not tropical. Is that o.k.?)
My scarf for a desert island would be my Fleurs d'Indiennes in the GM washed silk format. It goes with so many colors and is big and luscious.
My island of choice would be the San Juan Islands in WA and my preferred fruit would be a black cherry (Herzkirsche).
Desert Island scarf? What is THAT? Does. Not. Compute.
But after thinking about it some more, I would take my Grands Fonds GM. Design fits island theme. Can use it as a blanket at night.
Island I wanna go back to? Great Britain (8th largest island in da world, I looked it up)
I love Normandes and urs is beautiful!
Very chic with classic colors!
What a great choice, Baga! Great pic, too. Love Nantucket too!
Another great choice and yeah, those colours are so versatile. One of your best looks; it's very complimentary with your hair.![]()

Sophig: Congrats our Curly Doll! We have missed you.
All the fruit talk is so enlightening: Jack fruit, fruits du dragon---dang, I am living on the wrong hemisphere of the planet!!
Jahna: what an intriguing scarf-- TRASH!! Interesting. Odd. Hermes for sure.
Vigee: I think you should be head mermaid, Anfang can chop up fruit with Chestnutty, Maedi can serve drinks, I'll mix them...what a party! Of course BirkinMary is already on an island---we can join her maybe?? Ladybaga can entertain us with animal facial fun as well.
Vesper Sparrow, Vitamina and MYH are going to do a little lobster collecting. Scarf1, Croisette7 and CocoSoCo can scale some trees for coconuts!! Wahoooo
Thank you Maedi for your comment on Zaba! I am doing great! Resting up to start a new full time teaching assignment which begins in August! I am so excited and blessed to be in the classroom again! Hope you are enjoying your summer!
Thank you, Undine! She's my first silky love.
VitaminaH, You and I are so much alike! I am obsessed with matching earrings and silks, too! I am well-schooled in Matchy Matchy! Thanks for your sweet words about my plisse and ear decor. Accessories are so much fun! If you are ever in the Cape Cod region of the U.S., you must take a boat (or plane) over to Nantucket. It is really a gorgeous part of the country.![]()
I am thrilled for the kids you'll teach next year. Rest up lots over the summer![]()
HI seton!!! GF is the ultimate in island scarves! LOVE this pic! (Beautiful background! Alaska? Kodiaks? Somewhere farther north than where I am? I LOVE GB, so that is an excellent island choice! CHEERS!
Seton, I love your beauty against the backdrop of nature's beauty! How blue is that water! Gorgeous! And thank you- we'll all have fun on the island. I have never been to England but would love to visit some time.
Pretty scarf but I love your avatar, Magdalinka.Beautiful choices everyone. I love to pop by and look at all the pretty scarves everyone is sharing here.
I do not have many in my collection, only 5 so I can not contribute very often but my desert island scarf would have to be this gorgeous Fantaisies Indiennes. It was a gift from my hubs and I love everything about it ...View attachment 2655620
Hi there! I'm sorry for being absent for so long, I'm in a remote place by the Mediterranean with only a mini iPad to connect to the world (and a very poor Internet signal). I can barely see some of the pictures you posted but I can't contribute with mine to these wondeful week themes. I'll do it next week when I'm back to civilization.![]()
Hello Baga! I'm afraid that this is one of the few instances where you were north of ME! :shame: Pic taken on the island of Oahu.
Let's go together! All that history is so much fun!![]()
