Loving all the beautiful scarves on our desert island. I see Maedi is already so comfortable she is lying down with her Fleurs d'Indiennes; a GM silk no less??? Well she might have something: the nights might get cold.

With so many of us arriving there will be...

TRASH!! So I am getting a head start and bringing my own:

So I had a hard think about this 'desert island scarf' theme, and came up with this:

Here it is worn, with my new scarf ring! This is one that I often wear as a top by itself though, because I just love this fun design.

Desert Island scarf? What is THAT? Does. Not. Compute.

But after thinking about it some more, I would take my Grands Fonds GM. Design fits island theme. Can use it as a blanket at night.

Yeah, we're saved! Although since Vigee gave us air conditioning and there's cherry wine, who'd ever want to leave? !

Hahaha, I guess you're right! Although, I think I'm just not cut out for permanent residence - I'm from Cannes originally and much prefer living in London, so I do think I would like to have these along as my 'getaway vehicles' plus- I've got travelling around the island covered!

I love this design! I have an enamel in it, but wish I had bought the scarf, too! Such a happy design, and you picked a beautiful colorway! You look great, Tiphaine!

Thanks ladies I actually got this scarf from my grandmother, so I am lucky that the one she had was in fact in my FAVOURITE colourway! I do love this design anyway, it's one of my favourites, but I'd've been a bit sad if it had been a cw where the union jack had been in the wrong colours this really was a perfect gift!

What a fun theme!!! I can only take ONE? Seriously? Well, as of right this very minute I would take my first ever purchased scarf: Zaba plisse (2010). I may change my mind in the next ten minutes....
Fruit of choice: White flesh peaches! They smell like roses!

(I had to come back to edit because I forgot my island!) I would say Nantucket! (Ooops! Not tropical. Is that o.k.?)

You have SUCH a beautiful smile and you just look radiant! I'm loving the blues permeating through the earrings, top and scarf

I would bring my La Femme, it was my first, brought from Paris by my DH...its intrepid traveler would inspire and the cool Himalayas would be nice to look at if the island gets too hot....and it would remind me of my beloved Tibetan Terriers

Hermes Nutty, this place can't be called a desert island although is really lonely and remote. We are already enjoying summer fruits: peaches, apricots, watermelon and my favorite black figs.

It's too hot to wear scarves apart from a pointú (TenC) and some gavroches to be worn as a headband and some twillys (TB, KenP) around my straw hat but I do wear my Hermès pareo to the beach:
