Five most worn? How could I make a choice? Some of them are so old and most of them have been heavily worn... Here is my closet's own selection, top of the piles!Let's Celebrate the number 5 and Silk!
Why are we celebrating our FIVE most worn scarves?
--Because the number 5 is significant in many parts of the world:
--It is considered the human number, often represented by a man or woman whose head and outstretched limbs form a five pointed star.
--It is the number symbol for Totality in Chinese and Japanese Culture.
--Number 5 is a protective number in Islam and a symbol of strength in Judaism. In Christian iconography, 5 refers to the number of Christs wounds.
But most important:: It is the number of scarves a Silkie buys before s/he realizes s/he is HOOKED like a big ole Marlin!!

Is it a database, or just a list?
I can imagine. Just tracking a mousseline Voie lactée might keep me busy till ChristmasWell, I have to be organized, because I would turn gaga thinking of which one I'm going to grab every morning! It's just a list, but I do have a photo database in my computer. And I use to keep pics of the 2 past seasons scarves and shawls on my iPhone, just to avoid buying too close colors/designs. Collecting H is nearly a full-time job!
