Jahna - can you believe I bought this facetie pegase scarf just for my orange pico? She is a demanding little bag!

Melora - you are a scarf magician when it comes to hiding colors you don't want to show.

Anfang - you are a neutral girl after my own heart. Although I always feel guilty for not buying colorful silks because H makes such gorgeous ones. So my collex is a strange mix of both.

Melora - your music scarves are awesome! I think you also need Quintessence and Concerto in your collection. :graucho:

Anfang - reds! you and arabesques have the best red silks. I love red but am afraid to wear the color because I think it brings out the uneven redness in my face. Maybe if I could have better skin tone or put on more makeup, I could venture into reds.

MYH, yes, three times yes, these bizarre subdued neutrals are killing me! But as you can see, I sometimes go for brights I used to love so much when fresh and young (which means last century 😜) And you should give them a try! I wear them with no make-up at all, and they still work! Magie of H, my dear! 😄

Sorry I wasn't able to choose just a top 5 but 2 of them, one for neutral and another one for bright colored scarves:

My choice of neutrals: Tous les Bateaux du Monde, MetM embroidered issue, LFaSdV, EL in Camo and Epices:

The bright colored ones: RO, LFaSdV, Belles du Mexique, Zabavushka and TB:

Birkinmary - love your neutral and colorful pics. We are twins on both the MetM and Bateaux. And if I could be twins with you on the rest of your neutrals, I would! But unfortunately, I started collecting too late.

Thanks for letting me know :)
Although I won't live in LA, I guess I will have the same issue! Although when I was there in December, mornings were pretty cold!!
Have you tried to wear a scarf as a necklace tied to a top? It seems quite nice when MaiTai does it, but I'm not sure it's practical.

Yes, the necklace knot is what I need to master next. I haven't quite figured out how to style a scarf necklace without looking too "mature" or dressed up. Any ideas?

Hi! As you said you haven't seen many mod pics of Le voyage de Pytheas, I offer you a few. I hope you'll like them!

Love the Voyage scarf. The mosaic border reminds me of pavements. THanks for posting so many modeling pics.

Have a lovely and safe trip, P! You will be missed!

Darlin, we missed YOU! Tell us what is going on in transition? Have you found ur regular SA yet? What is happenin w/ ur collex?
How lucky u are to have the Philly CSMC; it's gorg. And the colors in the Faceties are striking.

These are fabulous! TY so much!

Seton - thanks for the warm welcome back. The transition has been time consuming! And all the docs and questions the bank needs to approve a mortgage -
I've barely been to the H store in BH since I've been here. I did go when I first arrived but the scarf SA that helped me did not make any good color selections for me so I'll have to try and find another one. I really miss the KOP store. It was small but quaint and I knew all the SAs there which made it so comfortable to just pop by whenever I was in the area. BH feels large and cold to me. So my collex has gone nowhere since I've been here. The last scarf I bought was the Pegase faceties one and that was over 2 months ago. Nothing from eBay and nothing from the H store. I am in a rut! I still have a holy grail list but can't seem to find the right cws or conditions on the Bay that I want.

I love this thread, it's amazing to see everyone's collections of beautiful, and even some rare vintage, scarves too! I'm afraid my scarf collection isn't big enough yet to show you my five most worn scarves (or soon I will have posted them all!) so I hope it's ok if I post my relatively new, but still my most worn scarf of all - my orange 'attrapes tes rêves'

I just adore this design and the colours, maybe surprisingly, go with almost anything - so it's heavily worn for the amount of time I've owned it.

MYH, your comment about Jahnna's demanding Pico is so true!! I was with a PF friend, and she claimed that her jacket demanded a shawl, and her bag, a scarf!! Entitled, spoiled things!!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words :smile1: I'm loving the forum, so many stylish people and so much beauty in one place

Bravo Tiphaine! A great design, and you wear it well, my dear!

I'm very happy that you think so, thank you! :D

Gorgeous attrape! I agree - orange goes with everything!

Thanks! Orange is my favourite colour ;) I think, in the beginning, this is what first drew me to Hermes... Orange is definitely underrated

Thanks MYH! Finding different ways to wear the same scarf is so much fun :)

Quintessence and Concerto are nice scarves, but I have an organ collection, not a music collection :graucho: (restraining myself to organs will allow me to be reasonable and save my money for my other big spend I want to make) (which is as expensive as an H bag) (but it's not a bag)

Hi silkies - thrilled I finally have some time to share my 5 most worn.

1) Astrologie nouveau - this poor scarf has gone through the ringer. I got wet red nailpolish on it, had someone else spill beer on it, got sunscreen all over it, you name it! And it has been washed so many times and still looks new. The magic of H silk! And yes, even the red nailpolish came out due to a local dry cleaner that persevered.
2) photo finish - a great casual one that goes with all the gray I wear
3) echec au roi - another casual one that I wear with white and gray
4) Mars - the blue feathers on it still make me swoon
5) mer de la ciel - goes with everything because it's so colorful and every corner is different

Nice family picture! I'm pretty fond of your De la mer au ciel. This design looks magical!

Can I do my 5 newest scarves in the spirit of the magical number ?
I am not in the place where my FAV 5 are am with my newest. Been a stressful few weeks and when I am stressed I buy silks (good thing I don't buy diamonds!)
Here are my FAB FIVE!!
3 new 90cms
1 GM Mousse
1 GM Cash/Silk

I totally get what you mean! I noticed in the last few weeks I seem to find new ways to spend money ;) scarves aren't in my budget, but you'd be surprised how many things I suddenly need :D I can't wait for this to be over (3 weeks till the big move!!)
Anyway, your fab five are great :)

This is so beautiful! I have recently become fascinated by orange, but haven't taken the plunge to acquire anything yet. My "attrape" is also a fave, in the teal CW.

Hello, this is my first post of a scarf in action. I only own 4 and still I need to wear them more often. This is my most recent purchase Cavalcadour and first time taking it out. I really wanted an orange scarf and went for this one as it seemed very versatile year-round. The orange is really bright and fun though hidden today. Now seeing everybody's neutrals makes me want a dark brown one someday :graucho: it is a slippery slope these scarves. My favorite way to wear scarves is twisted as a necklace or as a belt.

Cavalcadour is a great design, bravo! I love the way you tied it!

Yes, the necklace knot is what I need to master next. I haven't quite figured out how to style a scarf necklace without looking too "mature" or dressed up. Any ideas?

We are still waiting for nice weather here in France, so I haven't had to chance to try. But I will definitely try to achieve something when I'll live in CA, and I will let you know!
Wow, in exactly 3 weeks from now, I'll be there!

It's a nice CW and a great match to your outfit. Congrats :)

Well I think you know what I'm going to say... take the plunge ;) I haven't seen this in teal though - sounds kind of (appropriately) dreamy actually! Going to do a search now, though I'd love to see yours if you get a chance to post it.
