Do any of you own La Voie lactée ? it may be my next grail (for Christmas) (seriously... I need to stop!!). I'm wondering what CW exist, and if the basic bias folds are the same or not. I would be interested in pics of both twill and mousseline!

Hello, first time in this thread, loving all the themes and beauties you post, thank you for doing so! Yes, I am the lucky owner of two CWs of the La Voie Lactee (both 90 twills), one with a black background with some of the globes (the white ones) glowing in the dark. It is one of the very few I have with a black background, but the pattern won me over. I've also got the one with a medium blue border and background. They are both from the evil bay, so they will still pop up from time to time, I've also seen one in a light yellow background colour there. When tied there can be two distinct corner patterns. Good luck if you go hunting :smile1:

I have that same CW of Instruction du Roi momasaurus; I think it is one of the "richest" ever done by Hermes. Welcome to scarfworld!

Welcome to you too, RheaNJ; that is a lovely scarf on you! Someday I am going to get really brave and wear yellow like that.

Sparklelisab, in my dreams I will have an orange Pico; that is MYH's! The only thing in my world that demand scarves are my archival envelopes... and well, Sophie. She wants another.

Speaking of the be-sparkled one; she has OK'd my guest editing of Caty Latham. Of course Seton has done most of the work for me. Thanks Seton!

Hi eliwon! They sound fantastic - would love to see pix! Can you get the glow in the dark to show in a photo? !

Nice! Yes, I've seen them both on the bay, but I'd like to see it worn if it isn't too much trouble? I'm curious to see if the way you tie it makes it look really different.

Yes ellwon, pictures please! I have to take mine into the closet to see if it glows. Did all the CWs glow? Mine is grey...

Thanks for your kind responses, and to satisfy you instantly, you can see the same scarf as my blue CW following this link:

As for the black CW, I know other people in other threads have tried in vain to photograph the glowing globes, but if you look at this link you can get an idea of the colourway at least, hope this helps:

It never gets dark here in Northern Europe this time of year, so there will be no "glowing" for several months :smile1:

Not necessarily my favorite scarves, but the most worn:
Coup de Fouet
Astrologie Nouvelle
Couvertures/Comme de Garcons collaborative piece
Grande Tenue
Tendresse Feline
