I’m so glad to see you in that shawl again! I ordered the very same one from TRR but returned it because the condition was very much NOT as described
@Helena7 - Bet you were the chic’est chick in the airportDear Scarfies, I’m so excited to be on holidays starting today I’ll catch up here as much as I can.
At the airport with Zabavushka today and yesterday w Pony Pit Stop double side, which was part of my new scarf mail. 🤣🙌
I was worried it’d be too pale for me but it isn’t and I love it.

Looking forward to catching up here as soon as I get enough sleep😊and manage to avoid jet lag. I bought some melatonin and it usually helps.
Luvin’ the boldness of that look @Cookiefiend
Such a fantastic bandanna @RedbirdhermesI'm heading to the ballpark again today, this time with my red Tigre Royal Fleuri. Since the home team won last time I wore this scarf design, I decided to wear it again. This time the opponents are not the Tigers, so my Tigre is allowed to peek out to watch a bit of the game.

I’m super jelly of your green thumb and beautiful silk @TeaforparrotsI’m wearing a floral scarf with a very different scale today. The heliotrope I grew from seed is finally blooming and smelling delicious!View attachment 6217090
Dear @LKBNOLA you are absolutely right! This week has convinced me that I need to keep an eye out for Henry!!! I am not a floral girl, but many of her designs are just beautiful and I must look closer into what to pursue!! 😊Answering in three parts!
A. Your wonderful collage does great honor to your beautiful collection @Lellabelle. I admire your very creative ties so we can see the actual animals! Eager to see what is in the gift vault for you and anticipating more wonderful mod shots... Like @HermesEchidna, you need to plug that Christine Henry hole-- I curate quite carefully on her designs because there are a lot of florals that seem quite similar (always excepting that amazing Giverny of hers!), but I do love her amazing sense of design and whimsey in pieces like Nuees Imaginaires, the composition of Arbre de la Vie, the lovely Fleurs et Papillons based on tapestries and her folkloric (and iconic) Peuple du Vent. This season H has released her GT Plantes Oficinales which reminds me a bit of the leaves of Arbre de la Vie. Happy hunting!
B. I too spent a long long time finding the right Tourbillons. I knew I wanted the black as soon as I saw the brilliant maple leaves on the one @Nomad has. There are quite a few autumnal ones without the red. In fact I have a small blue gav that fits that description! I always worry with a black base that the design elements look a bit too "decoupage" or slapped on, but this Tourbillons is seamless and quite luminous...
C. Thank you for the Planifleurs comment-- a total impulse buy in store after I could not get it out of my head from the enablement here!
Thank you for this reminder @Maedi! I love the film and am grateful for the musical connection!
This is the most beautiful Pivoines-- I love pink peonies and the basket background adds that special graphic element to the lovely florals. You have sich a great eye for interesting vintage cws, @Nomad....there are so many you have put on my Wish List...
I absolutely love matching a scarf to a personal occasion @Sue J-- may she have a good year full of growth, learning and adventures!
I know well the problem of changing light-- here for me by the ocean it is often a question of weather and time of day. Both can hugely affect what happens in my favorite "selfie window"!!! Most of the time I can get a light that is fairly true but early morning, bright mid day and cloud cover will all change the look of my scarf colors. I was your twin on Feux d'Hiver and on that great cw of Premiere Chant but both were let go as gifts to lovely friends...Nice to see them here @HermesEchidna!
I absolutely love this on your new dress @darkstar66. I just love a stripe/floral combo. The scale of this is perfect for the stripe width too.
Absolutely love this on the neutral top @redheaddem! 💡Thank you for the inspiration! Love yout braided twilly bracelets too!
Cute tie for this @GloWW0rM -- I love mine but it has not gotten any attention this summer!
Thank you! Off to check out the theme weeks @Cookiefiend!
I hope you feel better soon @Jacq1-- but sometimes a scarf can help us "fake it" right?
Fellow Astrologie lover @silveredwings4 -- your cw is wonderful!
Amazing way to wear a scarf and what amazing details in these beasties - thank you for sharing!Since today is gorgeously sunny, I wanted to share my favorite way to wear a 90cm this summer… a breezy halter top!

I’ve basically tied it thus:

*Though I folded the bottom a bit and tucked some of the extra volume into a cummerbund of sorts for a more sleek look
C.Henry’s Nuées Imaginares is ideal for this purpose. It features whimsical and fantastic beasts floating on dreamy stylized clouds.

I only have one scarf on theme and I am not sure if I will be able to wear it this week, since it is CS and we will reach up to 30C this week.
So here it is from the archives, Col Verts by Christine Vauzelle

Stunning in a CSGM format. You choose such great colours for yourself (and me!Hello,
So nice to see you on this tread, @turfnsurf , I thought you were "exclusively" authenticating. 😀 And thank you for hosting this week. I love Christine Henry's designs, even if her rather small motifs look better on me in the 140s. My first one from her was Piqué Fleuri de Provence, a very nice summer shawl.View attachment 6216317
Wow how incredible that Tourbillons is, and only enhanced with that pretty knot.Starting the week with Christine Vauzelles - I only have 3!

I’m sorry for your amazing pointu and absolutely charming grandchildren. My whole household got into the Tigre Royale act today!!! I have a total of 6 Tigres Royale! Two doubleface (totals 4) plus a bandana and today's fun piece: Tigre Royale Pointu. This was an early gift to me and I confess I did not know quite what to make of it until I joined TPF and saw Scarf Possibilities opening up like the yellow brick road in the Land of Oz...

Never sad to have extra time to play with silk and flowers! Great combination of colours.I dressed up for a two-hour work meeting that got canceled. Should I pretend to be sad? 😂 I realized that the colors of my bracelet went pretty well with the colors of my scarf.View attachment 6216407View attachment 6216408
Your outing looks like so much fun! Your mousseline looks so light and breezy. Stunning. The home team won yesterday's baseball game, so my plan to hide the opponent's tiger mascot on my Tigre Royal Fleuri apparently worked. Meanwhile, little GS looked up from playing his tablet at the game just long enough for me to snap this picture.

It’s so striking tied on you, but I’d never have picked it based on the flat picture alone. The shading is masterful.Christiane Vauzelles designed dozens of scarves for Hermès from the 1960’s into the 1990’s yet rarely signed her name.
Her style was equally elusive; ranging anywhere from bold flowers to historical objects to food- all beautifully executed.
Today I’m wearing her striking Rosarie

How nice to have such a beautiful scarf passed down from your Mum. I gifted one to my Mum and she barely wears it for fear of ruining it, which makes me sad. Your green is wonderfully festive.Good evening! I just went through the ancient registration tome of the collection and concluded I do not have a C.Henry to contribute. A matter which should be fixed!!
But there are a couple of Vauzelles - but why are they almost all a little bit pale? 🤔
Well. My second ever Hermes was one I found in my mothers belongings after she passed away. An adorable, light pink and peach and very feminine Fleur de lotus. I do not think I can ever do it justice, but it eventually send me down the orange box road.

Wish you a morsel of a day!!
Such happy colours and you’ve styled so many fabulous ways.Hello and good morning,
In my small collection, Christiane Vauzelles means Tigre Royal. 😁 I consider my first TR, the green one, as one of my most elegant scarves. By choosing the subtle (B side) or jewel coloured (A side) sparkles, you can tie it quite differently and produce different effects.View attachment 6216602View attachment 6216603View attachment 6216604View attachment 6216605
Congrats on your scarf mail - it’s beautiful!Good morning all! Sharing some perfectly on theme scarf mail (thank you to @Nomad for the inspiration and enablement) that I have been searching for a long time. I am not wearing this today but I cannot wait to wear it during New England's Leaf Peeping Season when the trees turn brilliant colors!

Sigh, this is so dreamy. The hem is perfect for it, too. I have been eying up the burgundy version of this size Olympe earrings and they look wonderful and practical for regular use.The evenings are turning cool here on our bay -- so it is time to mix it up a bit! Cashmere and cotton? Silk and linen? Cashmere and linen? Silk and cotton? Well, last night I opted for chiffon and cotton as we ate al fresco under heat lamps. No one is quite willing to admit that our warm summer is looking ahead to fall...
Inspired by @turfnsurf to wear Nuees Imaginaires this week for our theme. Also liking it with these pretty new Olympe earrings. Bought originally for my new grey Paddock CSGM but am finding them very scarf-friendly! https://www.hermes.com/us/en/product/olympe-earrings-small-model-H500468FK05/

I agree with you on all points on Christine Henry @LKBNOLA. Giverny is unique and gorgeous in its structure and theme and I am fine not chasing other florals from her. The use of the adjectives "folkloric and iconic" reminded me that I needed a Peuple du vent back in my life. I let go (without any regrets) of my blue CSGM, it was just too much for me, too overwhelming and I have other more desirable blues in my shawl collection. I need a different format and a more subdued cw to tame the busy pattern. I think I know exactly which one...À suivre...A. Your wonderful collage does great honor to your beautiful collection @Lellabelle. I admire your very creative ties so we can see the actual animals!
