Good morning!
One of the few non-neutral Vauzelles I have. Cause who does not need a banana-oyster-pineapple-lobster scarf??

Wish you a morsel of a day!!
Well - I have been missing out - I could use a banana, oyster, pineapple, lobster scarf! Why knot?!
Hello and good morning,
In my small collection, Christiane Vauzelles means Tigre Royal. 😁 I consider my first TR, the green one, as one of my most elegant scarves. By choosing the subtle (B side) or jewel coloured (A side) sparkles, you can tie it quite differently and produce different effects.View attachment 6216602View attachment 6216603View attachment 6216604View attachment 6216605
Fantastic in every way!
Good morning all! Sharing some perfectly on theme scarf mail (thank you to @Nomad for the inspiration and enablement) that I have been searching for a long time. I am not wearing this today but I cannot wait to wear it during New England's Leaf Peeping Season when the trees turn brilliant colors!
Tourbillons

And my actual SOTD for a summer day full of errands, a bright Planifleurs, with a hat tip to @Maedi and @redheaddem, my twins and inspo!
View attachment 6216674
That is the perfect cw of Tourbillons! Keep it in mind for an upcoming week!
Love the green stripes with your pink P, and thank you for your very sweet comments! :hugs:
It’s overcast at the moment so I was finally able to capture some glare-free photos of the tangle of four o’clocks and morning glories on my side of the driveway and the ageratum, tithonia, African marigolds, castor bean plant, morning glories, scarlet runner beans etc. that my neighbor let me plant on his side 😆 I thought this scarf would coordinate nicely!

Truly the perfect scarf for your marvelous garden pics - I love seeing them and I love that you ‘caught’ a bee too!
Axis Mundi is my scarf of the day.

Such a great design and the perfect compliment to your strawberry tee!
A horse! A horse!
:hs:
My kingdom for a horse!

Today is a scorcher, so I dressed up a basic cami’ with Vauzelles’ (very loosely tied) Carrousel to showcase the charming center character.

Stay cool my lovlies! :coolio:
View attachment 6216749
Hahaaa - well done Turf! Love the necklace too!
Mostly from archives, as today’s SOTD is a non-H bandana. Catching up with last week’s theme as well; here’s my contributions for Annie, Alice and Aline, and for Christiane and Christine. Alice is most well-represented of these in my collection.

The only Annie Faivre I have is in the gift vault, so not pictured here, and I think my only Christiane V are Tigre Royale (I have three, and want the fleuri and the pointu). I don’t think I have any Christine Henry.

So many beautiful designs featured this last couple of weeks. Thank you all for the inspiration!
FFantastic collage, and so many gorgeous scarves!
That tiger is whispering encouragement to me too - want! :giggle:
The tourbillions changeant is a beauty. I’ve been looking for the right tourbillons for a while. This one is stunning on you, Cookie 🍁🍂

Hello, twin! Beautiful styling of our jade Tiger! 💚

And… that’s the tourbillons I’ve been on the look out for too! I love the coloured leaves on the black base best of all, though most iterations of this design have their charms. This will be perfect for the fall.

Did I miss you getting the pink Planifleurs, or did I just forget? I think the pink may be my favourite of the CW for it. Stunning on you!

:hugs:

Seconding this - all hail queen Cookie!
Thank you so much LellaBelle for both of your sweet comments! That Tourbillon is one of the most amazing changeants - and I only have one in this color - it’s just amazing! :hugs:
I have three Christine Vauzelles and this flower design I think is spectacular. Pivoines. Mine has the basket in background. I think it would be easy to have multiples of this design.

Gorgeous, and all the best to your DD!
Good morning!

There are so many stunning Tigre Royals in here! It is a design that has almost eluded me.
I have this tiny triangle - it is adorable, but a bit pale, and if I wear it any other way than this drape, the tiger hides.
View attachment 6216928
It does the same in carre en carre, where, in my version at least, there are no visible tiger, but only the fronds are in the patchwork
View attachment 6216929
Another Vauzelles which I, as my green Lotus, only use in winter time is this snow crystal design Feux de l’hiver
View attachment 6216930
And sticking with the neutral golden oldies, this is my last Vauzelles Cheval Turc

Sorry about the bad light - as the season changes I need to find the right spots in the home for photos - I have not done so yet apparently.

My sotd is an entirely different one - La premiere chant - to get me through a day packed with more or less relevant meetings…

They’re all so lovely, but I must confess that this PC is just fab with your blue dress!
Hello and good morning,
My second Christine Henry CSGM was Jardins de Soie, and aren't you my twin, @Nomad ? I saw that I could even pair it to my marinière dress.View attachment 6216958View attachment 6216959View attachment 6216960
Marvelous! I think this design shines in the larger format - and it is perfect with the stripes!

Answering in three parts!
A. Your wonderful collage does great honor to your beautiful collection @Lellabelle. I admire your very creative ties so we can see the actual animals! Eager to see what is in the gift vault for you and anticipating more wonderful mod shots... Like @HermesEchidna, you need to plug that Christine Henry hole-- I curate quite carefully on her designs because there are a lot of florals that seem quite similar (always excepting that amazing Giverny of hers!), but I do love her amazing sense of design and whimsey in pieces like Nuees Imaginaires, the composition of Arbre de la Vie, the lovely Fleurs et Papillons based on tapestries and her folkloric (and iconic) Peuple du Vent. This season H has released her GT Plantes Oficinales which reminds me a bit of the leaves of Arbre de la Vie. Happy hunting!
B. I too spent a long long time finding the right Tourbillons. I knew I wanted the black as soon as I saw the brilliant maple leaves on the one @Nomad has. There are quite a few autumnal ones without the red. In fact I have a small blue gav that fits that description! I always worry with a black base that the design elements look a bit too "decoupage" or slapped on, but this Tourbillons is seamless and quite luminous...
C. Thank you for the Planifleurs comment-- a total impulse buy in store after I could not get it out of my head from the enablement here!
Tourbillons is so special. It reminds me of the beautiful song by Jeanne Moreau from the cherished movie Jules et Jim with Oskar Werner. I just learned that Angèle does a cover.
Planifleurs with the mariniere is fabulous.

Thank you for this reminder @Maedi! I love the film and am grateful for the musical connection!

I know well the problem of changing light-- here for me by the ocean it is often a question of weather and time of day. Both can hugely affect what happens in my favorite "selfie window"!!! Most of the time I can get a light that is fairly true but early morning, bright mid day and cloud cover will all change the look of my scarf colors. I was your twin on Feux d'Hiver and on that great cw of Premiere Chant but both were let go as gifts to lovely friends...Nice to see them here @HermesEchidna!

Well, last night I opted for chiffon and cotton as we ate al fresco under heat lamps. No one is quite willing to admit that our warm summer is looking ahead to fall...

Thank you very much, LKB. It was more like an accident to pair this already wild CSGM with stripes, and I was surprised that it worked. Perhaps because the blue was somehow reiterated?
