Very much my sentiments about the peaking or waning summer. Melancholy sets in. The earrings are spectacular and so is NI mousseline. The evenings are turning cool here on our bay -- so it is time to mix it up a bit! Cashmere and cotton? Silk and linen? Cashmere and linen? Silk and cotton? Well, last night I opted for chiffon and cotton as we ate al fresco under heat lamps. No one is quite willing to admit that our warm summer is looking ahead to fall...
Inspired by @turfnsurf to wear Nuees Imaginaires this week for our theme. Also liking it with these pretty new Olympe earrings. Bought originally for my new grey Paddock CSGM but am finding them very scarf-friendly! https://www.hermes.com/us/en/product/olympe-earrings-small-model-H500468FK05/

Pony Pit Stop ties like a dream and I adore all the little flowers on it. Safe travels.Dear Scarfies, I’m so excited to be on holidays starting today I’ll catch up here as much as I can.
At the airport with Zabavushka today and yesterday w Pony Pit Stop double side, which was part of my new scarf mail. 🤣🙌
I was worried it’d be too pale for me but it isn’t and I love it.

Looking forward to catching up here as soon as I get enough sleep😊and manage to avoid jet lag. I bought some melatonin and it usually helps.
Gorgeous, sweet Cookie and safe travels.
Good plan and I hope it brought luck again. Red is so good on you.I'm heading to the ballpark again today, this time with my red Tigre Royal Fleuri. Since the home team won last time I wore this scarf design, I decided to wear it again. This time the opponents are not the Tigers, so my Tigre is allowed to peek out to watch a bit of the game.

Have a great day scarf lovlies!
Thank you @darkstar66. I am not immune to buying a scarf based on the "stroy behind the design" and the one for Nuees is just beautiful:Such a poetic design, and even more so in a mousseline! 😍
It definitely doesn’t feel like Fall here in TN 🥵, but you look marvelous!
Simply stunning pairingThe blues really pop against the white!
*I always have good intentions of wearing nifty earrings, but inevitably I run out of time and my same ‘ol studs stay in![]()
I am in love with that Cheval Turk CS90 @turfnsurf. Just beautiful. BTW TPF was instrumental in improving my (previously nonexistant) lipstick game and now, after realizing just what a high percentage of mod shots feature my trusty pearl studs, I am working on my earring game! Never too late for an upgrade is my motto...A bit pressed for time today, so will share some C.Vauzelles pics from the archives:

Is this tied as a shrug @Cookiefiend? Amazing look with the striped sweater!
I love this more and more every time you wear it @Teaforparrots!I’m wearing a floral scarf with a very different scale today. The heliotrope I grew from seed is finally blooming and smelling delicious!View attachment 6217090
I’m sorry for your amazing pointu and absolutely charming grandchildren.
You made me smile out loud there @GloWW0rM! Update: The pointu survived!! As for the earrings, I really like these and the Medor studs-- they seem the perfect size. I always liked the Olympe but the large model is just too large for me. These are light and easy to wear. Also they come in very pretty colors!Sigh, this is so dreamy. The hem is perfect for it, too. I have been eying up the burgundy version of this size Olympe earrings and they look wonderful and practical for regular use.
I love them all on you but the color of that Chemins Secrets is really special @Maedi. I lost your Pony Pit Stop pic, but what a pretty twilly that design makes!I don’t have a lot to contribute this week. Here are Pique Fleuri, Chemins Secrets 140 cm and Forces de la vie gavroche.

I think I did the same with a PdV 90 and now (after several tries) I have a beautiful lilac blue CSGM that has just enough color. I am on the edge of my seat with trying to guess where you will land on this @FA73! What fun. Perhaps the 140 mousseline bandana? Hmmmm. Inquiring minds...I agree with you on all points on Christine Henry @LKBNOLA. Giverny is unique and gorgeous in its structure and theme and I am fine not chasing other florals from her. The use of the adjectives "folkloric and iconic" reminded me that I needed a Peuple du vent back in my life. I let go (without any regrets) of my blue CSGM, it was just too much for me, too overwhelming and I have other more desirable blues in my shawl collection. I need a different format and a more subdued cw to tame the busy pattern. I think I know exactly which one...À suivre...
I hope your tiger was just the ticket, and the home team won again!I'm heading to the ballpark again today, this time with my red Tigre Royal Fleuri. Oh nooooooo - what a bummer! This would be perfect for you - this yellow border is fab!I’m so glad to see you in that shawl again! I ordered the very same one from TRR but returned it because the condition was very much NOT as described![]()
Thank you!@Helena7 - Bet you were the chic’est chick in the airport
*That cw of PPS is very flattering
Luvin’ the boldness of that look @Cookiefiend

❤️❤️❤️This shade of pink is soooo flattering on you and @LKBNOLA. If I liked pink a tiny bit more I’d totally be scarfluenced too. Your stacked braided bracelets are lovely!
I love how this showcases the middle of the design.
Sigh, this is so dreamy. The hem is perfect for it, too. I have been eying up the burgundy version of this size Olympe earrings and they look wonderful and practical for regular use.
Have a wonderful time on what sounds like a much-needed and very well-deserved holiday!! Looking forward to seeing more of you soon.
*Gasp* - your L’Art du Temari shawl is drool-worthy. Excuse me while I go and scour the Earth for one… safe travels. Oh and how cool with your striped top.
What fun! Who won, who won?! Did the scarf magic work?
Each so pretty and exceptionally matched with your lipstick.

Thank you sweetie! No special knot - it’s just folded in half and put over my shoulders. It was absolutely freezing in the Indy airport… much warmer down heah in Georgia!Thank you @darkstar66. I am not immune to buying a scarf based on the "stroy behind the design" and the one for Nuees is just beautiful:
Fragile vessels of the imagination, clouds trace our dreams. The world of this carré originates in a shifting and lighthearted nebulousness. Flowers and leaves multiply, traced by a sure hand and guided by a childlike spirit. Sheltered by them in their meanderings, or proudly astride their woolly profiles, all sorts of incredible animals find refuge there. Four-footed birds, flying fish, winged goats, equine mermaids... From their breath surge fleecy little clouds who drink in their words, wide-eyed. These learn their future tasks from their mouths: to protect the earth from the sun, to create the rain which will irrigate the soil... or just to let themselves go, nudged by the wind.
How could I possibly resist such a story?

Your garden is absolutely amazing 🤩 I really enjoy seeing your lovely garden photos! Your scarf is lovely too! It’s overcast at the moment so I was finally able to capture some glare-free photos of the tangle of four o’clocks and morning glories on my side of the driveway and the ageratum, tithonia, African marigolds, castor bean plant, morning glories, scarlet runner beans etc. that my neighbor let me plant on his side 😆 I thought this scarf would coordinate nicely!
