Love this collection of Maharanis!
This is a lovely collection and gosh, I love all the earrings!
Wow! The scarves are all amazing but omg your earring game is on point!!! Such perfect pairings.
Thanks for the kind words, everybody! If there is anything I like as much as scarfs, it‘s earrings.Great scarves and earring pairings!
Thank you so much, LKBNOLA! I have been well, just very busy. And for quite some time the website didn‘t load on my mobile phone, particularly not the photos. I have no idea what the trouble was but I‘m glad it‘s working again. Not being able to see the pictures spoils the fun.So great to see you back in Scarflandia @Thelittlefoxes! I hope you have been well. It is nice to see your beautiful Maharanis and your lovely earrings!
This is a gorgeous hem and the strong colours and stark contrasts make it really stand out. Your scarf ring is a perfect match, both in colour and material.I am in transit today and tomorrow, weather permitting but I wanted to share a recent scarf with a fantastic border! Bottes Story by Carine Brancowitz has a border that depicts desert scenery at different times. The scarf story describes this as the landscape of Arizona. I love the all the different varieties of cactus and the starry night sky.

Le Voyage de Pythéas has one of the most beautiful borders, I love the mosaic floor print! And the red contrast hem on your Kelly is incredibly chic, @Karenska!I love this post, Rbh, concentrating on one color for hems, and they are all just lovely, especially Acte III which was my first choice cw, although I can’t quibble as I adore mine. Love your new swester, too, what a beautiful color. Please stay warm!! Here’s are two red hemmed beauties, Le Voyage de Pytheas and Kelly en Caleche.

Lovely, the fringe looks great with this format! Reminds me of 1920‘s flapper style, @880.My favorite hem; my favorite color combo; and, my favorite pattern ex Libris, courtesy of @sdsurfchick

Good morning!!
Thank you for kicking us off to a great week @Karenska !! I have looked forward to this week as I love scarves with Good borders!
I have a box for the scarves I use less often - and just observed that they all have solid one-color borders. Off course it depends on how you tie them, but I like showing corners and interesting borders and hems. I am certain this week will have great examples and enableing. I will go make popcorn!!
My sotd is one I do not wear often enough considering how much I like it. Or rather how much I like its border. And it even has the orange contrast hem

Wish you a gorgeous Day!!
Today is a little crazy for me so posting a couple of shots of a delightful border - Jungle Love 70. This is an example of a border within a border. AND a gorgeous contrasting hem in a fun green.

A beautiful design that reminds me a lot of Kawa Ora in this cw.Non-local boutique visit today, that resulted in no purchases though I did get to see a few of the new season offerings. The colour families are really tight this year. The marine/purple one is right in my comfort zone, but there are a few designs in this colour family (tous en selle, as well as the carousel TR and bottes story) and they all feel very similar when viewed together. It’s actually really hard to narrow down a choice when they share so much commonality. I did get to see the exceptional robe legere from last year, which is very pretty indeed.
I thought SOTD would be off theme as it’s borderless, but it turns out that’s not quite true. It has an edge-to-edge design, with a complimentary border featuring a wave design inset a little way in from the hem. So it’s a sort of hidden border in the design. It serves well to frame the scarf, without being obvious. It’s hard to see in this CW as it’s camouflaged well!

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing how you style your PlisséI think it is cold everywhere @mktlim! Stay warm and toasty in your beautiful shawls!
So lovely to see you and your beautiful moussies @Awillow!
Excellent @JavaJo! I was going to show this also as I think the wider pleats do emphasize the geometric pattern of the hem.
More beautiful red hems @Karenska-- I remember the hunt for that Pytheas!
So great to see you back in Scarflandia @Thelittlefoxes! I hope you have been well. It is nice to see your beautiful Maharanis and your lovely earrings!
Thank you @Maedi!
That is a beautiful contrast hem @darkstar66! Love seeing the details too...
I have this one and have never noticed the contrast hem 😳Today I'm wearing my Jungle Love Stamped mousseline.

As @Karenska says, this design variation is all about adding the fancy colorful borders. The contrast hem in this multicolor mousseline is bright pink.

Looks great on you, and certainly looks warm and cozyScarf of yesterday: Acte III while out for a walk with my Mum. I love that the black hem, in this case, allows the rich design to shine without competing for attention.

Great scarf, but can we talk about how these earrings are just perfect? The most surprising contrast hem because the hot pink comes out of nowhere: Les Parures des Maharajas

The contrast hem on the silk carré is less surprising because the red can be found in the „rubies“ of the print.View attachment 6119801
Ha, ha. That contrast hem in the moussie is extremely narrow.I have this one and have never noticed the contrast hem 😳
That is a fantastic border! Safe travels, Lkb.
Beautiful! So happy to be sisters and cousins on this great re-issue. The pink hem is really "lagniappe" on an already great mouesie @Redbirdhermes. I took mine on virtually every trip last year!Today I'm wearing my Jungle Love Stamped mousseline.

Wow, beautiful and your beautiful hair @Lellabelle! I agree with you about the very tight cws this year, as well. I'm twins on this De la Mer and I am just nodding in agreement with @littlefoxes observation that it is reminiscent (in this tie) of Kawa Ora in this cw...I love the hem on this DlMaC... I think it adds to the "wintry mix" feeling...Non-local boutique visit today, that resulted in no purchases though I did get to see a few of the new season offerings. These are both beautiful @Thelittlefoxes-- and you are so tight to point out the "surprise" of that pink hem. I believe you were a big enabler for me seeking this one out. Delighted to be sisters and now I need to find equally perfect earrings! Thank you for your Bottes Story comments-- it does have a strong hem as well as a strong border -- a definite plus. The most surprising contrast hem because the hot pink comes out of nowhere: Les Parures des Maharajas
