@JavaJo , I love your jagged plisse hem.
You have some wonderful scarves!I love my Hermes design borders! Here we go! First the pieces that I thought of right off the top of my head, and then the pieces I found as I visited my scarves this morning! Of course, I immediately thought of Aline Honore. Annie Faivre, and the Ardmore Artists, so I will start with some of their designs.
I love this so much!Lovely, dear karenska. And a resuscitated hem is always rewarding!
Not on theme, but here is today's scarf. A moussie - my most duplicated design within my collection - Peuple du Vent. Thanks to @bunnycat for the inspiration!

Oh it’s quite good! I see it online a fair bit.I have not seen Edelweiss in tea. How splendid! If we didn’t live on different continents we could take care of the scarf on drink situation 🥰.
Thank you for sharing this one. Now I am thinking I should have bought it…
Great scarves!I love this post, Rbh, concentrating on one color for hems, and they are all just lovely, especially Acte III which was my first choice cw, although I can’t quibble as I adore mine. Love your new swester, too, what a beautiful color. Please stay warm!! Here’s are two red hemmed beauties, Le Voyage de Pytheas and Kelly en Caleche.

So many beautiful scarves! Your l’hiver is superb. Thank you for introducing this week and thank you @HermesEchidna for hosting last week.Greetings, dear Scarfies, and welcome to our third theme of the year! Many thank to @HermesEchidna for hosting Clever Hands and @bunnycat for hosting Fresh Start to begin the New Year 2025. Now that we are here, let’s celebrate one of the truly wonderful aspects of the Hermès
scarf, the beautiful edges that adorn so many designs.
Hems, Borders, Fringes: Beautiful Edges
Today Hems. The Hermès hem is a thing of beauty. Hemmed from back to front, it is handstitched evenly, round and plump and it is never ironed flat.
Two newer scarves.

Look how beautifully the hems are on this much older one, Axis Mundi.

And even vintage scarves can retain their plump hems if cared for properly. My two oldest scarves, L’Hiver and La Comedie Italienne.

Looking forward to this week, very much!!!
Wow to all of them but the black Axis Mundi shines.Last but not least, what I found today as I visited my scarves, after all what else does one do when they are hunkered down waiting for the snow to start? All are 35 inches and twills, except the last which is c/s: Charmes des Plages Normandes, Sous le Cadre, Turandot, Les Jardins d'Andalousie, Axis Mundi and Tapis Volant.
That’s a beautiful sweater and your red hemmed scarves are fab. Thank goodness for wool.Welcome to @Karenska and a week of enjoying the hems and borders of our beautiful scarves. Following your lead I thought about the hems of my scarves. I came to realize that if a scarf has a red contrast hem then it is bound to be a favorite.
One of my earliest purchases with a red hem was Act III, Scene I, La Clairiere

Today it is a very cold -13 F (that's -25 C) and I'm happy that my recent order of new wool sweaters has arrived in the mail. This warm top pairs nicely with my Voitures en Equilibre shawl with its red hem.
