One of my favorite things about scarves is how you can rediscover them! I’d really cooled on 70s lately, and this one in particular I was thinking I needed to let go bc I don’t seem to reach for it as much.

So beautiful Anna - and I totally get the 140 moussie love!My first and true love is silk 90s. That’s the format I both wear and collect (meaning that I have some old scarves I never really wear, but love having).
But I have developed quite an affinity for the 140 mousselines over the past few years. I do have some 90 mousselines, but it is really easy to pick up a large mousseline to wear when heading out. They are also a great format for California.

I *could* wear one when I make the trip from my office to the reception desk... there's easily a 30 degree drop when I go up there!

I am eager to see everyone's takes on this simple variation. @Lellabelle and @GloWW0rM often use the double bovas on a bias fold and @bunnycat originated the idea with the cowboy fold-- when I realized (thanks to Lellabelle) that the knots work the way they do on my H Lift pendant to shorten and lengthen, I had an Aha! moment.
You look so cute in these @JavaJo! Go straight back home and grab one-- we must be brave and bold; our silks expect no less from us!

Apologies for dropping in infrequently these weeks as I am relaxing in the cabin in the wilderness (aka a deliberately overgrown garden) without many scarves and even less clothes to match.
But I must repeat the choir of 90 carré love. 95% of my scarves are 90x90, though I have come to love the 140 and 100 cashmeres lately. 90 are versatile, and as I am not a petite lady The smaller formats are difficult to wear properly I think. But the 90s are just enough silk to wear in both big and smaller ways.
I am happy to try the new (to me) version of bova knot which @LKBNOLA and @darkstar66 have just demonstrated with my sotd Kachinas for a trip to the local village before the rainstorm hit us.
Also sharing a snapshot from the grounds. My main function in the cabin is to keep everyone fed - including the songbirds. No bird will go hungry to nest tonight. And only a few mice and squirrels have been observed at the buffet

My whole body gave a contented sigh at all this lovely green, my mind also wandered off (as it often does) and thought of “feed the birds, tuppence a bag, tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag’, though I know it’s way more than a tuppence to feed the birds!
