Here is my new scarf mail-- I am so thrilled to have found this particular cw of Space Shopping au Faubourg. Recently I have found some of my wish list items not at the usual resellers but at vintage or antique shops. They do not have a great deal of inventory but occasionally luck and availability coincide at a fair price. :tup: My SOTD for meeting a dear friend of long years for lunch-- she is just off the plane from Paris and Florence and now here for her annual family reunion! I can't wait to hear all her news.

My love affair with this Carrosserie is entirely due to the Black Swans show about Truman Capote! I saw this on the character who plays Babe Paley and I did not rest until it was mine! She had it spread under her head on her analyst's pillow and I thought it was Hermès. Some sleuthing and voilà. Not tomention that we should all carry a scarf around in case we need to shield out hair from a strange pillow....

Good morning all, and happy Thursday. I often like to coordinate my scarves with a solid top and patterns in a skirt or pants. It allows for some pattern mixing with a little distance between the scarf and the pattern, which I like. Earlier this week we saw @darkstar's animal print look which I admired very much and I was inspired to share three combos-- all in blue. The first is my SOTD: Brides de Gala en Fleur with gingham

And a twilly bracelet with flowy patterned pants. I am truly amazed I could do this with my arthritic hands but the baby CdA ring helped a lot! Perfect way to wear a scrap of silk on a hot day!
