Scarves Scarf of The Day 2025 - Which Hermès scarf are you wearing today?

Covering both snakes and music today: I very much appreciate the 100cm CS scarves as a manageable size of fabric. I could wish that they got more adventurous with the color choices, but the art is often a lot of fun!

@Redbirdhermes beat me to posting Caducee Rock - here is my much more subdued cw:

I like to pretend that I’m tough when I wear it, but I fear that ship has sailed.

In another homage to my cooler youth, Last Night is all about the electronic music, and it pleases me that the song names are previous scarves by the artist.

What scarves remind you of past musical experiences?

ETA: I’m loving all the scarves you’ve shown so far and will try to wrangle the massive multi quote when I’m feeling better!

Last day in NYC on this trip. I packed only three scarves, have already shown two, and coincidentally the third is also on theme! Whether they are dragons or snakes, Nothing But a Dreamer absolutely has some scaly serpent-like creatures!

Grateful to @momasaurus for the inspiration/enablement on this cw!
I just love this scarf!! And the red hem is perfection!! 🤩

Wonderful intro @FizzyWater!!! And very interesting to learn about the various roles of the Snake Charmer, too. I think your pink Cosmos could charm anybody but I am/was accidentally on theme with my SOYE featuring Orpheus who charmed the gogs, people, beasts, birds and even the trees with his music! And that shawl feautures a snake as well, as @Agrume showed. And my SOTD is also on point! Looking forward to this week and no doubt will be surprised by all the snakes slithering around on my silks!

Wonderfully on theme! As before, I love this pattern mixing.

Good evening!
Snakes on a scarf are rare in my collection but I wore other scales today for a Day out with friends

But I cant resist posting this 10 year Old photo with me and DS (not yet 190 cm as today 😂) handling Burmese Tiger pythons at a (admittedly cheesy) show on Tenerife ( and he was even more happy about it than the emoji)

Glorious SD! I was set to start hunting for one but now that I bought Orto, I’m not sure I need the cw of Sweet Dreams that I was thinking of. And omg at you handling that python! I could never.

Now we move on to the serpents……. 🐍

Beautiful, the lot of em, but I esp love there styling of that last one - all dreamy pinks and soft luxe blues.

What did I spy with my little eye?
But a serpent hiding nearby.
Swinging while glancing
Into a mirror quite fancy

Well spotted! Did not realize this is another design I have with a snake on it - good to know.

I meant to wear this as my theme crossover scarf on Sunday but forgot. The red d’Orphee today, which of course has an impressive scaly and coiled creature on it. I assumed it was a snake but looking closer, the head is a bit unique.

My health is a hot mess this week - caught a cold prob on the plane and am experiencing the beginnings of what I’m afraid is sciatica. I wish I could unsubscribe from this ‘getting old’ thing. At least an H scarf can lift the spirits!

Off topic with Les plaisirs du froid today. It’s cold here, but not cold enough for skating. 🧊

Oh thank you! This is my little Aspinal of London cutie. It’s actually more of a burnt orange, which is not a color I typically go for in bags, but I just was mesmerized by the shade in person.

Thank you, dear Jereni, that is the gorgeous Coup de Fouet au Bloc silk plume 140. A very special beauty.

I love this blue cw @Winiebean -- the black cat prints on this are really great!
The contrast bordeaux hem is perfect with this cw ... as your pretty scarfring is, LKB!
This Pavement is just stunning @Croisette7! (and thank you-- I linked two tiny leather rings together to fit the cashmere 100!)
My go-to throw-on today was Dies et Hore dip-dye.

Thank you, dear @FizzyWater, for hosting snakes and snake charmers this week. I adore this design! Why I do not have it yet is a mystery. And this cw, too. May be doing some searching soon…. :graucho:

It is well known to many of you here that I am quite serpent-phobic. I wish them no harm but seeing photos and realistic interpretations of them strikes immediate fear into my body, quite involuntarily. That said, I appreciate them in culture, literature and art. I looked through Acte III to see if a serpent lurked about in the woodland grasses but there are none. No matter. Snakes are still relevant to Shakespeare’s comedic masterpiece which is the design’s subject. As Titania is being soothed to slumberland, her fairy retinue sings this lullaby:

Ye spotted snakes with double tongue,
Thorny hedgehogs, be not seen;
Newts and blind-worms, do no wrong,
Come not near our fairy queen.

My SOTD is Acte III CSGM.

This is so gorgeous, Lkb, it’s in the cart right now!
Thank you for sharing your lovely red silks @Karenska and I was wondering how you were going to manage the snake theme! You can keep on charming us with non-visual snake-adjacent poems and so on and I will look forward to that!

This is such a pretty cw-- I should have thought of this one too! Thank you for pointing it out @Redbirdhermes!
Is this the Sous le Charme d'Orphee 140 shawl in Caramel / Caban / Noisette?

It looks so gorgeous on you! The way you’ve beautifully tied it makes it look like a smaller, elegant cashmere scarf.
Thank you @Lady_P. What a lovely comment. Yes, it is exactly that one. Just a loose bias fold looped around with tails pulled through the cute new ring!

I hope you are fully recovered soon @FizzyWater! I love the men's 100 format also. Both of these are wonderful. Now I have another avenue into the theme to ponder! Hmm. Past musical experiences...
