Thank you, @LKBNOLA, and your Pegase scarf ring is phenomenal with the Orphée! (we seem to be twins on the skirt, too, by the way). Actually, the more I see of Bottes Story, the more I like it. Very dangerous...
Orphee looks great with your skirt! Next week we will be twins on the black Bottes, can't wait!
Thank you both @Agrume and @Croisette7!!! I hope we will all be triplets-- honestly two favorite pieces from recent seasons. My skirt is a tried and true staple and surprisingly packable too! I will go into mourning if I ever have to replace it! Happy Sunday to you both.
:flowers: 🧡

Happy Sunday, dear Scarfies. We are heading out for brunch with friends and I am feeling serpentine today in Bottes Story!View attachment 6125940
And yesterday, DH and I were under the spell of Harry Connick Jr.'s Cole Porter tribute at the Metropolitan Opera, so it seems fitting I wore Sous le Charme d'Orphee! (twins with @Agrume, @Croisette7, @Nomad and many many others on this one).

Oh my! :faint:
You are giving me ‘I GOTTA have it - itis’!!
Both of these looks are gorgeous and I love the second look - those colors make my heart beat faster.
Also love the skirt… I have it in black and olive and wear them all the time!
Smooches for your kind words too - last week was wild - I needed all the help I could get. We should have internet and phone on Monday, then it should be ‘smooth sailing’!
<fingers crossed>

So pretty with pink!
Thank you @Anna for hosting the red/Lunar New Year week! Meant to participate more but was on travels and didn’t get organized about taking selfies.

Today I celebrate the snake/dragon with Cosmographia Universalis, which has at least two dragons sneaking around in it.

Such a cute look!

Greetings and salutations! (Wait, that was the spider.)

Thank you, @AnnaE for hosting such a glorious week of scarves.

This week’s theme is “snake charmer”, a celebration of snakes (and honorary snakes) and music on scarves. As always, feel free to post even if not on theme!

Snake charming as a profession has existed for centuries, most common in India but spreading across Asia and into Africa. The charmers at various times helped clear out snakes from homes, sold medicines to heal bites, or were simply entertainment. After multiple wildlife protection acts, it has become a precarious business.

While these musicians don’t resemble the stereotypical charmers, I believe they must be entrancing their audience. And the green streamers around them suggest serpents to me.

Absolutely beautiful colors @CoastalCouture -- I did hop over to see the reverse side and it is equally lovely on you! Congratulations on starting the year with a wonderful new-in!

I am a bit envious that yours is cashmere @amdmarques! This design ties so well, too.

Both are gorgeous and what a cool way to tie your Mill Feuilles de Soie @Cookiefiend. Collections is gorgeous in this cw! (also :ty: )

And perfectly gorgeous @FA73!

Thank you so much @Croisette7!

That is a very beautiful blue Au Coeur de la Vie @Helena7! I second your wonder at the artistry of this design-- it is easy to get lost in this silken forest! And thank you for your sweet comment on my jacket/scarf pairing!

Congratulations on scarf milestones (ELeK and a bargoon!) and puppy milestones @EtsyBoss. This is a wonderful cw; I predict it will be in regular rotation for you! Such good news about the pup, too. Sometimes you need a scarf to celebrate life's little victories!

Thank you @GloWW0rM!

 not a great memory @Agrume, just a very useful Pinterest Board I copy allt he looks I like on this tthread to for reference! It is like a Cliff Notes for Scarf Styling... and loving this Orphee on navy. I wore mine this weekend, too.

Very beautiful and festive for errand running @mktlim!

Three great looks @Jacq1-- I particularly love the GT with red blazer!

Wow, @HermesEchidna a Pavement CSGM? That is a grail for me!

Lovely @Awillow-- you just have so many beautiful moussies in all colors!

And thank you for guest hosting @AnnaE and for your generous commentary and for sharing your beautiful collection -- not just the gorgeous reds but the wonderful rarities that we seldom see and which I personally find quite amazing and so interesting. Happy New Year and may you add many new beauties to your fabulous collection!
Thanks - I cant believe my luck about this lovely piece. I got it preloved and a bit damaged recently but have checked and prodded it and I trust it is true - it is so gorgeous and has all my favorite colors in one scarf 🤩

Wonderful intro @FizzyWater!!! And very interesting to learn about the various roles of the Snake Charmer, too. I think your pink Cosmos could charm anybody but I am/was accidentally on theme with my SOYE featuring Orpheus who charmed the gogs, people, beasts, birds and even the trees with his music! And that shawl feautures a snake as well, as @Agrume showed. And my SOTD is also on point! Looking forward to this week and no doubt will be surprised by all the snakes slithering around on my silks!

Thank you @Cookiefiend and glad to hear of the progress! I have to say that my terracotta/blue/grey Orphee shawl is my absolute favorite but I think this caramel/caban one is a great piece to have and it also seems universally flattering! As for Bottes Story, well I found so much to love in this cw and the design is beguiling if not downright charming... (my double entendre machine is on rapid fire today!)
This scarf is filled with snakes.

ETA: Welcome to @FizzyWater as our Guest Scarf Mistress of the week. Love your "snake charmer" scarf, and looking forward to seeing everyone’s pretty scarves.
I turn a venomous green with envy every time I see this dip-dye @Redbirdhermes (see what I did there?)
Most repeated scarf (and outfit) this winter. Twins with many of you. Lunch at Eataly with a friend… Bonus photo of a snake charmer taken on a trip to Tangiers last summer…. Uhhhm, just realized my H beret can pass for a snake charmer’s head piece…. LOL

Ok. Well I just think you won Photo of the Theme Week @JavaJo!!! I bet we have not many scarfie/snake charmer photos on site on the thread. Your Orphee plus Beret is a charming (:giggle: ) look!

Good evening!
Snakes on a scarf are rare in my collection but I wore other scales today for a Day out with friends

But I cant resist posting this 10 year Old photo with me and DS (not yet 190 cm as today 😂) handling Burmese Tiger pythons at a (admittedly cheesy) show on Tenerife ( and he was even more happy about it than the emoji)
