super HOT indeed!Salad dressing is the arch nemesis of us all! BTW; when you type is arch-nemesis salad dressing, you get nothing.
Evil salad dressing gets you pics of hidden valley ranch…

Wonderful introduction, Cookie, and great examples. I also want to thank @HermesEchidna for her terrific hosting, information and many examples.
I have doubled up on gavs but I am not so sure they were very successful pairings. Sangles and Pegase Pop - like.

Forceds de la Vie and Baobab Cat - hmmm…

Tapis Persans and Pique Fleuri de Provence - ok

I honestly think that Sangles works with almost everything, which is probably why the design keeps popping up. And your two florals in matching colorways are perfect together. I was going to say that the different scales made the Forceds/Baobab problematic, but then I recalled my purchase last fall of my Sangles en Zigzag Fleuries maxi twilly, and I eat my words.

This is further proof that Sangles goes with anything.
All your combos are lovely, @Karenska.
Two of the same design, or same colour family, does seem to be a very solid approach to doubling up!I just want to say I am loving this week for the major reason that it is helping me decide on gavroches to keep or cull. So far none have been culled in this exercise, but at least it confirms my loving or not. I do usually wear them in my hair, due to a postage stamp feeling with one on my neck, but this double up gives me enough volume to not feel that way. I have a bova knot holding them together in back. I did notice yesterday with a mors ring in back that one gavroche slipped out early on.
Trying out a column of color with baby blue top and bottom ( cords) and zest to light up face of Jardin_de la _marahani
After seeing @blydia show her gav of this design once, I went a huntin. I loved the two-sided stripes! I now can’t remember which was her cw, but these were all I could find online.

just fabulous together! It’s the pinks and blues that really ‘join hands’ between these two, I thinkToday is a double post day for me, this time with a set of two scarves. A few days ago I noticed how nicely the colors in my new-to-me La Ronde des Heurs silk 90 went with my Sweet Dreams 100 CS.

Our temperatures warmed up to freezing this afternoon, so it was time to bundle up for a walk to my favorite coffee shop. My second set of scarves of the day are La Ronde des Heurs and Sweet Dreams.

Thank you, Lellabelle. Pinks, blues, reds, golds, oranges, greens, are all in there. I've always felt that if you buy what you love, you will find that you have things that work together.just fabulous together! It’s the pinks and blues that really ‘join hands’ between these two, I think![]()

Wait! Am I knot at H Addicts Anonymous? Holy moly I just spilled my secrets to y’all… but it’s knot like you didn’t already know!
So double double
Boil and trouble
Today I’m showin’ a couple
All wrapped in a snuggle.
You know the gavs go together like peas in a pod:
Etude Pour in Iris Arc en Cie and Robe du Soir POP

But sometimes you want a little extra extra around your neck and shoulders!
EPuAeC and Sangles en Zig Zag (which REALLY does go with everything!)

THEME WEEKS for 2024 from TEAM SCARF MISTRESS
Just for fun, each Sunday begins a new Theme Week. This year, we continue to have a full compliment of SMs and GSMs on file for the year! Let me say we were completely humbled and astounded by the array of Guest Scarf Mistresses for this coming year. We have many regular hands coming back for 2024 and some new ones ready to make their mark as GSM on Scarf Of The Day! Returning or joining us for this year are @Agrume, @AnnaE , @FizzyWater , @HermesEchidna, @LKBNOLA , @Redbirdhermes, @Snausages and @violetkool. A heartfelt thanks from all of the regular Scarf Mistresses goes out to you for volunteering your time and enthusiasm for SOTD. The variety and individuality really keeps SOTD a welcoming and fun space.
Once again, our ever fabulous calendar mastermind @xincinsin, along with @Cookiefiend, @Living.la.vida.fifi, @Karenska and yours truly brainstormed to (hopefully) give a fun and variety filled Silky Calendar for 2024. Of course, there is always room for more! If you’d like to be a host, start a Conversation with one of us (@bunnycat, @Cookiefiend, @Karenska , @Living.la.vida.fifi , or @xincinsin ) by clicking the Inbox in the upper right corner. (I promise it is really fun and we're here to help you any time!)
For 2024, we've taken some requests and some favorites, and spun it is to what is hopefully a cohesive mix of things just for fun but also for learning, mixed with some current event topics scattered here and there.
Everyone on this thread is a Scarfie who loves learning about specific designers, discovering new scarf knots, examining scarf details more carefully, and seeing MORE SCARVES. Even if it's off-theme, your SOTD is always welcome. Be creative, have fun with the topics, and SHOW US YOUR SCARVES — talk about them and add links to more information. We’re all friends here (definitely no Scarf Police) – so smile at your selfie camera and come play with us!

Thank you yuzulife! Yes, you might be in trouble....First off, what a beautiful and cheerful scarf! This design reminds me of porcelain.
Second, uh oh! I am in trouble again.![]()
Love the colors and I am always careful with makeup, too.Starting the week with a first-time wear and my first double face scarf - Splash Park.
I'm a little apprehensive about such a light-coloured silk, so I've gone for a loose drape-knot to try and keep it makeup-free.
Wishing everyone a successful Monday!

It is such a wonderful design and looks great with purple.Hi @Karenska, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend and colleague. It's such a sad thing, one that I experienced twice in the past 2 years. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.
Life keeps getting in the way of my scarf fun so I'm just now getting you this pic, my apologies for the delay. Here's my Objects de Curiosites, which I absolutely adore, especially the bee border (mostly the naughty bees who wander). I've really enjoyed wearing it lately with a purple top, I like the contrast with the hem.

Good observation, Jereni, I always thought of my PeggyPop as LifeSavers and Sangles as old-fashioned ribbon candyAll are such joyous colors! Sangles and Pegasus Pop are so great together / like candy!
Haha I love your poems. And love the CSGM with the smaller scarf - I will have to try this.
Ooh I love this idea of diff cws but same design worn together! I’m getting so many great ideas this week.
Thank you, dear RBH, as is your pairing - very inspired! I do love Sangles and agree it’s a winner.I honestly think that Sangles works with almost everything, which is probably why the design keeps popping up.
