Thank you @GloWW0rM, @Snausages, @Living.la.vida.fifi, @Cookiefiend, @Croisette7, @Awillow, @Nomad and everyone for likes and loves on my new Turkey Scarf and Au Coin du Feu etc.

I love timepieces and sundials (and have placed one in every garden) but I have never found the cw of this lovely design that worked for me. Congratulations @Redbirdhermes -- this is lovely!@Jereni those pinks are TDF!

Ah, this is so great and looks wonderful in a braid @Snausages!

@FizzyWater -- what a fantastic post-- I love each one and how clever to arrange them by order of the acronym! Your Alternateur is the one cw I am always on the lookout for...

This outfit seems lovely for a solemn occasion that also strives for a bit of celebration. Condolences on the loss of your friend @Karenska.

Congratulations @SilkCouture! Do we know the charitable cause this was issued to support? I am always curious where Hermes collaborates with worthy NGOs and issues...

Beautiful-- glad you can get some rest @Foxy trini -- love seeing the new Animaplois in action and delighted to be twins on both CSGMs!

Oh what a perfect choice @lanit! This was the first shawl I ever purchased from a reseller and I chose it for the exact reasons you mentioned-- it is like strolling around Paris....so many stories told in the street scenes!

Very lovely @Jereni-- congratulations on the perfect Super H! So happy you found your grail...nothing better than grail mail!

These colors are gorgeous on you @bunnycat. And such a cool design to have!

These are so beautiful but mega congratulations on your new Jaguar-- it is just fabulous. Love also your Tous les Bateaux CSGM-- so elegant @Living.la.vida.fifi.

A great choice @MabelJo-- I love this one too!

Another great post to close out the week! Congratulations on a marvelous hosting job @HermesEchidna-- it was so much fun and so informative as well! I love your closing choices -- including the rarity-- and your Coq d'Or is a wonder! I think all of Scarflandia would welcome you back as Guest Scarf Mistresss anytime! :flowers: :flowers:

Well, you should wear this at every opportunity @GloWW0rM -- it is fantastic on you!
Thank you so much, @LKBNOLA. ❤️ And thank you for the compliment and astute observation because it’s pretty accurate. I wanted to wear dark clothing but have a little personal brightness, too. My friend loved gardens and animals. The DuJA twilly was mostly hidden by the CSGT, as I tied it in a weave knot with my overcoat. The twilly was only seen after the service was over, when my three colleagues who attended and I went for coffee.

Happy Saturday Scarflandia! I am traveling/babysitting this next week so my SOTDs may be a bit haphazard and sporadic. This morning my three year old granddaughter was up early and helped me select her favorite horse scarf from a file of archive pics. Later we will bundle up and greet the snow that accumulated here last night. She has not yet begun riding lessons (though she loved the experience of a pony ride!) but she very much enjoys her mother's Breyer horse collection (some of which used to be my own!) so this is a fitting choice: Chevaux de la Collection, men's 100 CS.

I just love this scarf, Lkb. It ties so well. I’m sure your grand little does, too!

Thank you @bunnycat!

Thank you @Awillow-- thrilled to be twins on the "turkey-with-amazing hem"!!! And also I was your twin on the Astrologie, but ultimately a CCP to blue won out. This one is certifiably beautiful on both you and @Cookiefiend!

Thank you @Croisette7! Yes, I love that she takes an interest in the "scarf pictures"-- another H generation in the making! I love this A l'Ombre des Boulevards. I love the design. Sisters with the black and white (might you have that as well?). And I love the avatar too-- so perfect.

Just proof that even the most ignoble (yet necessary) historical developments can end up connected to a beautiful silk around your neck @Redbirdhermes! I do know that the hems of beautiful gowns and lovely shoes worn in days of yore met daily perils in the streets...

I love this @Awillow-- I have multiples of RdS and always reach for the blue -- it is just so beautifully easy to wear and pair!

Thank you @textilegirl! In its primitive style it reminds me a bit of the new Jan Bajtlik, Cavalier a la Trompette. A very fun and practical piece.

Wowza @EtsyBoss-- that is gorgeous in this dramatic cw.
Yes, we're twins on the b/w one too.

Hi Ashanti. Thanks! You are correct. Fold would be an overstatement. I hold it in one corner and let it drop on the diagonal. A loose wrap twice around the neck and a loose double knot with ends dangling - for me usually off to one side. I think you get more volume to play with by not folding it sometimes.
Thank you for this explanation @Awillow-- you always look great in your moussies and I sometimes struggle yo keep them from turning into limp noodles around my neck!
Sure, @Croisette7 - I will take a mod shot in a couple of days. I am nursing a flu so I don't feel selfie-worthy (lol)))
Oh, @Ashanti_Rose -- I would love to see it also and more important, I hope you have a speedy recovery!
On holiday, so I only have 3 scarves with me, which I picked at random (because there was no itinerary ). I just arrived in Taipei yesterday, so nothing of note has happened yet. DH and I mourned the demise of some eateries which did not survive the upheaval of the pandemic

Cooking is both an art and a science, and while I can follow a recipe, DS1 often uses substition of ingredients to lift a dish to new heights. Some friends here treated us to a sumptuous 8-course dinner; local cuisine elevated to fine dining. My favourite dish was smoked chicken, with a subtle sweetness becauss it was smoked using sugar cane and reminded me of a Singapore stew which also used sugar cane instead of sugar to impart sweetness to the dish.

An Espices gav to celebrate creativity beyond science in using the same herb/spice/ingredient in different ways.

The same technology can have positive as well as negative effects on the world. Nuclear science especially comes to mind.
Two scarves issued for nuclear submarines Le Redoubtable and L'Indomptable.

And a pic of a horology scarf because of the clocks shown this week. Rouages is an old design showing the inner workings of a timepiece which I wore to an H watch exhibition several years ago.

Just realized that all the scarves in this post are based on a circular framework. Should we include the invention of the wheel as part of STEM?
Beautiful and on-point examples but your last observation made me giggle @xincinsin! That's a beautiful Aux Pays des Epices gav!
Dear @Jereni , @Nomad , @Lellabelle , @Living.la.vida.fifi ,@LKBNOLA , @yuzulife , @Snausages, @GloWW0rM thank you all for your lovely comments.

@LKBNOLA the special edition of Hermes Story is in support of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, Hong Kong Cancer Fund and New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

Oh, thank you @SilkCouture! Some of my LE/SE scarves I have tracked down after the fact but I have several that I selected because of the cause the issue supported. It always feels a bit special to be able to support a worthy cause with a scarf purchase-- especially a beautiful and unisial cw!
Yes, we're twins on the b/w one too.
I thought so! I love it -- I would love to add a colorful 90 in this design @Croisette7-- the vignettes are so special...

Just a Sunday outtro of STEM-week-

Thank you all for your generous sharing of beautiful designs, cute Nerd Love Stories and clever connections to the theme. And thanks for putting up with my lengthy rantings on the fringes of stem.

I knew there had to be a lot of great stem/steam designs out there which I did not know about, and this week has added several to my wish list - so also Thank you (I Think ;)) for that.

One very fast decision and speedy hunting process happened this week and this scarf will forever be known by me as my “guest-scarf-mistress-premiere-week-impulse-buy-scarf”.

I tried to convince an Old friend to let me adopt her stunning Black cw - hinting that the colors did not suit her (they did) and that she should not keep it (she did). But Then she alerted me to this one, almost as great a cw as the Black.
I am now the proud owner - and thus a sister to a bunch of you - of Laboratoire du Temp.

And how Could I even exist without a scarf featuring both Cave people, dinosaurs, Big Bang, the Wilbur brothers, industristrialization, video games, Moon landing - and a disco ball (huge scientific invention!)?

Amazing!! Congratulations on such a special scarf. Definitely well-deserved after this week’s scarf hosting. You and everyone have shared some unbelievable tidbits of information. I love this thread. I think every scarf mistress should get a bonus scarf from here on out.
