Dear Cordeliere, May I ask, what is AFF, please? For those of you with BDGEF lust, there is one at AFF at a crazy good price.
@Karenska I may have plans for that Kuna Peuple. I originally sold it back because of that citrine border. But I adored the pink and purple center and couldn't forget it. I got the bright idea of becoming a scarf surgeon. Why don't I just cut off that evil border and re-hem it? It would be roughly the size of a 70 and would all my favorite colors. Except... between the time I sold it, and the time I repurchased it, someone snuck in gold details in the center. Where did that come from? So it is a coin toss whether I give it a hair cut or re-sell it. I am kind of afraid I might become a mad scarf hacker. Retour a la Terre would be great without the border. Just sayin
I love how you tie your twillies, VioletKool. This looks chic and so well put together. Happy New Year!Having fun with Super Silk Quest twilly and Chaine d'Ancre 90 scarf ring today.

Thank you for all the lovely compliments and recognition, MabelJo : hugs:. Please definitely give CSGTs a try - I adore them. That denim shirt is a favorite- the ruffle give it a bit of elegance to a “workshirt” vibe. And I must return the compliments on your last two posts of 2023 - all wonderful additions and favorites and your JL collection is TDF. When I see your blue JL stamped, I kind of regret not trying it - I love mine - a very bold cw with black and colors, but your is so calm. And the orange one is perfect for summer. But when I see the JL moussie, with whom you are twins with others, notably @LKBNOLA and @Cookiefiend, I have pangsI love your On A Summer’s Day @Karenska, GTs are on my list of new formats to try this year and you make a great case for this one. I love your to too, such an adorable ruffle down the front!
Hello twin!A super happy scarf that looks fab on you @Karenska.
The hem on your red and caramel (?) colorway is so pretty @Karenska, but your broach is spectacular!
Your blue is a stunner too @Karenska, thank you for the closeup, the jacquard is TDF! And thank you for the Gilbert love, he's my much beloved, sweet boy.![]()
I adore this sweet design. Teddy Bears are my favorite. I don’t collect them, but I have a holiday-specific few that I bought over the years to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Here are my Christmas friends.today with Confidents des Coeurs CSPM, which I found some years ago in Venice

It is indeed fun, Jereni. What wonderful colors, so happy. You must smile every time you see it. Your bag compliments it perfectly. Your curl reminds me if that children’s rhyme: “There was a little girl who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead.”…. Safe and happy travels.Happy Monday Scarflandia. I am traveling today and wearing Selle Imaginaire which is probably my most fun CSGM.

Love this so much, such a great cw, Lkb.
This is a fabulous cw, RBH, so rich. And since we’re talkin’ selfies, yours are wonderful! Grand pearls, too. Ok so here’s my very gay cw (gay in the old usage) of Animapolis, that riotous city of all sorts of merry creatures.

So many things to comment on @Karenska! Now Gilbert. I’m in love ❤️❤️❤️❤️. I nearly fell over seeing that photo, the perfect darling posing so perfectly with a most perfect scarf gracing his neck. It should be a calendar entry.
💡 We should make a calendar of Our Pets in H.
Here is me trying on @LKBNOLA ‘s JL moussie last summer. I will see if the boutique I am visiting this week has it.

That is such a perceptive comment @bunnycat! As in so many endeavors-- writing, art, crafts-- sometimes what we envision has trouble making it on to the page or the canvas, or the loom-- and it takes some time for reality to mesh with the vision...Indeed- now that scarf is such a cheerful concept! (And that it took 3 tries!
Sometimes it does take a few tries to get what is in your head as "right" in to the scarf drawer. I am currently doing this with my ZP triangle. Still have FOMO on the vermillion one...still!)
Thank you! There's a lot going on in this fun design @Snausages... in a wonderful chaotic way, too...@LKBNOLA I’ve never noticed the swirly corners! And a beautiful knot!
Thank you @BlueLilac -- I have been extremely focused and disciplined about backfills, CCPs and grails over the past three years, even if I have occasionally succumbed to rose colored sales goggles, the undertow of the seasonal thread and a bit too much enablement indulgence! This thread makes collecting both easier and harder! So much beauty-- like in your post. Now I want your Pivoines... Ana dlao doffing my hat and sendingThank you for the new setup @papertiger, and thank you to the Scarf Mistresses for putting together this exciting new schedule for 2024.
@LKBNOLA - Thank you for your lovely comment. I am in awe of your collection and the grails you acquired this past year, and your styling ideas are always an inspiration.
Must start the happy scarves week with my happiest of them all, which is Au Royaume d’Helios!

And a new-in happy scarf is the Hermes Horse Club gavroche. I’ve been more less stalking this for months but just hadn’t found it in a store to try on so I finally had my SA order it. It’s so cute and cheerful! (I’m using a chain here to extend it a bit).

It’s a beautiful mod shot, Lkb, it shows the colors in natural light so nicely. And your face is glowing and so pretty! Love your Super Silk Quest. Stay warm and safe travels.Good morning everyone! I am about to get back on the road but feeling happy in Super Silk Quest-- which is a super fun design. My SIL and brothers are all dedicated gamers and this scarf gets a cheerful seal of approval from them, too. I took @Jereni's suggestions and tried an outdoor mod shot! Of course I cropped out my snow-blind squint-- it is very cold and very winter white here...
