So many fabulous inspirations - as always ‘ scarf by scarf’, but also drinks and recipes for a lasting ‘ feel good’ mood and - sigh - probably also a bit of ‘enrichment’ around the hips... Thank you so much, at all scarf-ladies here.
My contribution and my perhaps somewhat simple and ‘boring-appearing’ drink just makes a gentle ‘pop’, flows golden into the glass and sends many beautiful and finest pearls to the surface - like my CSGM La Femme... on Friday - happy and proud to be sister and twin to many many of you here with the Sous le Charme enjoying my preferred sparkly yesterday and today "doubled" with @LKBNOLA and @Redbirdhermes and many more...

About as festivus as I can get.
Dark plaid with some emerald green in it with Ex Libris Madras bandana moussie. Organza always feels like a holiday type of material too.

And this scarf has nothing at all to do with the holidays, except that one day (during spring or fall, I can't recall) I wore this out walking, and someone said what a nice Xmas scarf I had on....

Greetings, dear friends, you have all been modeling some beautiful scarves and styles, you all are too, too chic. “I’m too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt…”.And your cocktails are so inviting in beautiful crystal glasses and tumblers.
Here are some festive and wintry wonders that I wear over the holidays and two libations - a mocktail and a cocktail.

Blood Orange Spritzer
Ice
3 oz. blood orange juice
2 oz. ginger beer
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
Sliced blood orange, sliced ginger, and fresh mint, for serving
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add blood orange juice, ginger beer, and lemon juice and gently stir to combine.
Garnish with sliced blood orange, ginger, and mint.

Holiday Sangria
To start, thinly slice your apples. Place the sliced apples, fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks, and star anise pods into the bottom of a large pitcher.
- Honeycrisp Apple
- Fresh Cranberries
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Star Anise Pods
- 1 bottle of Red Wine
- Apple Cider
- Cointreau
- Orange
- For Serving: Cinnamon, Turbinado sugar, Ice, Rosemary Sprigs
Next, pour the wine, apple cider, and Cointreau into the pitcher. Gentry stir. Tuck the sliced oranges into the pitcher.
Cover and refrigerate overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours.
Serve the Holiday Sangria in cinnamon-sugar-rimmed wine glasses filled with ice. Garnish with rosemary sprig!
Index Palmiere is a perfect Christmas choice, I think.

Well we had our first snow of the season-- five fun inches-- enough to play in and make the season bright and white. I tried to emulate @Redbirdhermes with an outdoor mod shot (flakes were actually still falling) without her success...

And my SOTE is my beautiful Ex Libris en Kimonos. I think my vintage green onyx earrings look very festive, too! It is the longest and darkest night of the year so I am happy to have this bright colorful shawl for warmth and cheer.

No sophisticated drink pairings for me but my little granddaughter is very excited to have a recipe for "Unicorn Hot Chocolate" and we've rounded up the ingredients for tomorrow (white chocolate, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and food coloring). Sigh. The things we do...If I were so inclined, I might hit it with a shot of Kahlua, right?

Thanks to everyone for their kind words - I’m on my way home from Paris now - I’ve had a lovely break from the hurly-burly whirlwind I’ve been in for about 4 months now (and things should start being more settled after January! Woot!) and ready to celebrate Christmas with my boys … and sweet Coco.
