Good morning!!!!

I can almost not hide my deep sorrow of this being my last at work in THIS YEAR!! - not!!! :happydance::drinks::yahoo:

So trying to be a little festive and even got a beer to match my Source de Pegasus. And a new pin (with a subtle cut the crab-message)

Got grail mail Yesterday but will save that for another post 😉
And tonight I will even try and do some drink and scarf mixing to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday.

So this is my only real winter scarf, Plaisirs du Froid. It has been shown before but I don't think in this cw. I bought it some 25 or 30 years ago. It was love at first sight and it remains my most loved classic scarf because of its finely drawn figures, the subtle and somewhat old fashioned colouring in combination with the classic blue border and the gracefulness of the scenery. Sharing a cocktail from my home country, DH and I served this at our wedding. We had to reduce the amounts to make sure our guests didn't get drunk right away!

Weng Weng (serves 1)

  • 0.3 oz vodka
  • 0.3 oz white rum
  • 0.3 oz gin
  • 0.3 oz brandy or whisky
  • 0.3 oz tequila
  • 0.3 oz grenadine
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ice

  1. Place ice in a glass
  2. Add all the liquor
  3. Add the pineapple juice and orange juice
  4. Top with grenadine

And this scarf has nothing at all to do with the holidays, except that one day (during spring or fall, I can't recall :lol: ) I wore this out walking, and someone said what a nice Xmas scarf I had on.... :roflmfao:

You are right @bunnycat --would never have thought of Bains but the colors are perfect! And the madras bandana is too!
