Adore this one. You look wonderful in it! Every time you post it you send me on a hunt. It’s so soft and velvety and every one of the colours is in a tone that works for me. I haven’t seen one in an age though… one day 🤞
I only own one little moussie by Virginie Jamin, which is not season appropriate for keeping my neck warm, so I’ve gone with the theme letters in scarf names. Cosmographia Universalis is my SOTD.

Well, that is just the burst of colour amd energy needed to chase away the seasonal blues! Inspired pairing with green.

I am such a fan of Tigre Royale. I love that you can see the tiger’s whole face in the original design. He, or she, has such grace and dignity. Am almost-sisters today, with the 2022 double-face.

I sympathize, Glowworm. These last two plus months have been a very stressful time for me and the holidays add to it, unfortunately. Take good care of yourself ❤️.
Sorry to hear it’s been rough, @Karenska. Sending hugs :hugs: We miss you here - please check in any time if you need a little distraction and comfort. Scarflandia is here when you’re ready.
Sharing one of my beloved set of the "De Passage a" scarves by Natalie Vialars today. This one of the most beautiful purple scarves ever made by Hermés, at least in my opinion. I had to fold and turn and turn in order to feature one of Scarflandia's favorite things-- the detail of the orange bags and boxes piled around the the house...

Close up of the detail!

Oh, I love this one and agree with you on its dreamy purples. Your pictures are an absolute knockout and your presentation of it certainly shows it to its best advantage. I’ve been tempted by it before, but resale prices are astronomical 😞. I am resolved that I will have to enjoy it vicariously on others, and have bookmarked this wonderful post for when I need to!
I loved that film, too. It’s based on a book by German author Michael Ende and you can simulate riding the dragon at the Bavarian Filmstudios in Munich.
Ooh, and now I’m wondering how I can make it to Munich 🤔🤭

Thank you so much, dear Lellabelle, your kind words are very comforting and helpful. You look lovely in your turquoise and grand Tahitian pearls. And of course, Le Tigre 💕💕💕

So festive with your brooche and the nativity scene is enchanting.
Thanks, dear Maedi. The Angel Tree at the Met is one of my most favorite things to see in NYC at holiday time. Before yesterday, I hadn’t seen it since before the pandemic. It was truly moving. The brooche was given to me by a most dear and beautiful office friend who passed away this year. Paula loved Christmas and she would decorate our whole worksite with great cheer. We called her Paula-la-la-la. She loved it. ❤️

Thank you kindly, dear Karen 💜
I wish the pearls were Tahitian! These are a simple set of irregular ones I picked up for a song years ago and restrung when the silk gave out. They’re a pretty colour though, and the length makes them quite versatile to style. I love the organic beauty of pearls and you can find pretty pieces at both ends of the quality spectrum!

Good morning!!

I am just wearing a sliver of Christine Vauzelles today with some leaves from Carre en carres.
On most versions I have seen there is also some tiger face - but not on mine, but I have more horses 🤔 makes me wonder if my scarf is genuine? Everything else looks fine and for now I am happy with it.

Wish you a Day with adequate ratios of tigers and horses!!

Gorgeous. I am your little pink silken sister.
Thank you Maedi, lovely to be sisters!

Thank you, Lellabelle ... yours is gorgeous in blue!

Moving on to W for me today with my newest cw of Hubert de Watrigant's Fêtes Venitiennes. Of course it celebrates Carnaval which comes at a different time of year but this cool blue cw feels wintery and the spiraling motif of the pali da casada-- canal poles-- on the design remind me of the candy canes which are ubiquitous yard decorations at this time of year!

- tied this morning for style and a boost of confidence for my annual performance review with my boss

Now that the review is over (and went well ;-) ) I will treat myself to opening some scarf mail, that has been sitting patiently on my shelf… Hopefully I’ll manage to take some pictures for you later 😊

Thank you @Lellabelle! Mine has no care tag so it was a little less costly but agree that it is not easy to find at a friendly price. I learned from resellers that the price of the gold/neutral cw had been driven up and off the charts so if I expanded my sights to other cws I might be lucky. Very happy that I did because the purples suit the design wonderfully as you say. I love the styling on your Tigre Royale. Just beautiful.

What a sweet and tender reminiscence of your friend @Karenska. Sending hugs during the dark mid-winter. I hope you enjoy some holiday lights and cheer.
Today, one of my tiger friends will accompany me through the day, not through the night. The one with the teal eye and same coloured hem. Tyger Tyger.View attachment 6101363View attachment 6101361
This looks great with your sweater/jacket @darkstar-- there was no bad cw of Tyger Tyger...

Congratulations on your good performance review and pre-congratulations on your scarf mail @Jacq1-- I would give you a good review too based on your presentation in the beautiful Maharani!

Thank you, @LKBNOLA and I agree concerning the cws. I'm looking at a CSMG at the moment but have Ashanti's words in my mind that the tiger is too huge in this format. Don't know what to do, the price is too high to make a mistake...😬
