Yay nice work on the outside mod shot!!! Beautiful Silk Quest!!! The details pop nicely. I so wanted this design in a gavroche but couldn’t get a colorway to work.

I keep thinking is it Tuesday. And it is only Monday.... I'm already ready for bed, and it is 2:30 in the afternoon here. We've been through approximately 2 seasons since breakfast. Clouds and humidity, a storm front, wind, rain, sun and now colder but sunny. I started with a different scarf entirely, then "had to" switch to cashmere.

Yesterday it was sunny and pleasant, so I wore Le Carnaval des Animaux because well, happy colors and such a fun subject that was well adapted to scarf format.

Now on to Kuna Peuple and the citrune border. This is a design that I particularly love and have another 90 cw not plissed. I’d like to get a CS 90 in it someday - maybe. I’m here to add my two cents. Here is an internet photo for reference.

There is so much going on that, depending on the way it is knotted, the border could easily be minimized. The colors are extraordinary and the citrine border has a gorgeous purple mini border to tame it. As for the center medallion, it’s a very nice yellow mixed in with acqua, not very bold. All the color elements work together. So I vote that you give it another chance, play different ties and knots.

AFF is Ann's Fabulous Finds. She is a very popular and reputable reseller in the US. She deals more in bags than silks. I find her silks to always be well priced. I will send you a link.

You are right. I should give Kuna Peuple another chance. I am lazy and like throw and go scarves but OMG I love that center. If I don't give it another chance, I would end up missing it again.

Good morning everyone! I am about to get back on the road but feeling happy in Super Silk Quest-- which is a super fun design. My SIL and brothers are all dedicated gamers and this scarf gets a cheerful seal of approval from them, too. I took @Jereni's suggestions and tried an outdoor mod shot! Of course I cropped out my snow-blind squint-- it is very cold and very winter white here...

I can no longer do the long multi quotes when I am always a dozen pages behind. But @LKBNOLA your bird scarf in that cw is perfect. As another said I never noticed those swirls so much as I do in your current cw and I love them. @Karenska your post with the variety of ways to wear a twillies w the Medor trio pieces was spectacular. @HermesEchidna i loved the SA story and something else you said but of course I can’t remember lol. @violetkool very cool way to wear your twilly. That twilly was the best that season. @bunnycat I stopped in my scroll at your animaux one with the denim jacket. I loved that entire look. And you looked particularly gorgeous in the second pic on that post. You glowed w rosy cheeks

Hi Piperdog! The Medor twilly trio is a wonderful accessory to twillies and the largest can be carefully threaded onto small format mousselines. For me, twillies are a summer godsend. They along with the gavroche and bandana (45cm and 55 cm squares) are about the only scarves that I can wear in the summer. A twilly can be a welcome pop of silk when you don’t want a lot of fabric. Here are some ways that I use them. There is a medor trio available on Ann’s Fabulous Finds, if you are interested.

When I first started looking at scarves, I thought I could safely ignore Twillies. I thought they were too small, too precious, not really me. Then I started browsing the SOTD thread which was a huge eye-opener. Between you, @bunnycat, @Snausages and so many other posters' creative and stylish use of Twillies (like this one) I can safely predict by the end of 2024 there will be at least one Twilly (and possibly a Mors ring) in my closet.

Thank you @bunnycat for starting this year off with what looks to be a very promising calendar for this year! I see several weeks I'm very much looking forward to. Thank you to @Cordeliere for acknowledging how difficult selfies are. I struggle with them too, trying to get the lighting right, the angles, the shadows, stray hairs here, wrinkles there, ooh that red spot on my chin is flaring again ugh those neck wrinkles. Sheesh it's like my mother is living rent free in my head still after 5 decades. And yet I share them after finding the one in 20 that works, lol, because you are all so welcoming and supportive and helpful with styling inspiration. I love this community so much.

Here's my first contribution for 2024 - Jardin des Peintres dbl face with the loud 'fun' color side. This scarf is so fun to wear. It was the one 90 I brought with me to Paris over the summer. I knew Paris in July would be humid, but felt I really needed to have at least one scarf with me! Sure enough by mid-day it was off my neck and onto the bag. Most days I wore it with the more subdued side showing as it is here on my bag when we made a little visit to the Sevres H.

My fun scarf today Le Chat. The first time I saw this one, I admit to thinking about a very flat Garfield cat that could hang from car windows. But I fell in love with the fun colors and versatile styling options! I may need to add another colorway... The original design is on my grail list as well.
