I can no longer do the long multi quotes when I am always a dozen pages behind. But @LKBNOLA your bird scarf in that cw is perfect. As another said I never noticed those swirls so much as I do in your current cw and I love them. @Karenska your post with the variety of ways to wear a twillies w the Medor trio pieces was spectacular. @HermesEchidna i loved the SA story and something else you said but of course I can’t remember lol. @violetkool very cool way to wear your twilly. That twilly was the best that season. @bunnycat I stopped in my scroll at your animaux one with the denim jacket. I loved that entire look. Thank you LKB! I certainly had enough drama choosing this one. It was worse than deliberating over ZP giant triangle ! Everyone (and I polled all over!!!
) said “get the bright one!” But bright depended on how they processed color. So the red/orange/etoupe was bright to some because of the bright brick red (really pretty) and this teal/bugundy/ natural was bright to others because of the color and pale background contrast. I could write a dissertation on color analysis and perception now.Thank you! Yes! I had to dump half my closet out on the kitchen table a third time but this one went with more “stuff” for sure. I did really like the unusualness of the red/etoupe one tho.Great pics! Does this mean the CW dilema is resolved?

Thanks to many of you for the kind words. I wore this mousseline today… I think this one is so fun for me personally because the design feels almost…trashy to me. It’s something about the animal print that always makes me wary. Maybe it’s just me wearing it with a giant Patagonia jacket (forgot to preheat the car this morning).

They along with the gavroche and bandana (45cm and 55 cm squares) are about the only scarves that I can wear in the summer. A twilly can be a welcome pop of silk when you don’t want a lot of fabric. Gosh I love that rooster scarf. This when I really wish I could wear cashmere — I would be first in line to get one!I keep thinking is it Tuesday. And it is only Monday....I'm already ready for bed, and it is 2:30 in the afternoon here. We've been through approximately 2 seasons since breakfast. Clouds and humidity, a storm front, wind, rain, sun and now colder but sunny. I started with a different scarf entirely, then "had to" switch to cashmere.
Yesterday it was sunny and pleasant, so I wore Le Carnaval des Animaux because well, happy colors and such a fun subject that was well adapted to scarf format.

This year's changeover was the weirdest timing ever because January 1st was on Monday, so we went a whole week technically connected to last year because of the way the year ended, but actually in 2024. I hope that is not an inauspicious start for my year....
But, it all turned out for the best, as our brilliant @xincinsin has given me a favorite concept week gloried up with a theme name. Yes, this week is a "no theme" theme week in disguise! What I like to call a "Chaos Week" where literally anything goes and you can't go wrong with anything you wear.
