Not on theme today but H - compliant, nonetheless. I have been absent. following the trend noted in a past weekend WSJ wearing cotton and non-H silk neckerchiefs (for men, the term "scarf" seems outré to the prevailing wisdom of the species). But it is nice to be back home to the H - 90's. Sous le Cèdre.

Magjes, perhaps it is too versatile, which accounts for its infrequent wearing in its approximate 20 year residence in the piles. For a long time, it seemed almost nondescript, or at best understated; hence, it was on the bench. Now, that's increasingly a look I strive for. Must have something to do with the fact that I finally relented and started drawing on my Social Security!

keeping my resolution of wearing the scarves I love more, rather than all the ones I am deciding whether to keep or not. But now somehow it’s all switched to putting on clothes I might want to get rid of from my closet . I have gone from two closets to one woo hoo.
As you can imagine lots of oranges, orange reds, and yellows left my closet, just like my scarf collection shown last week. But this top is being kept.
Wish I put a lippie on, but oh well. Sometimes I feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland chanting "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!"

This week has been a great start to 2023 with hearing everyone's New Year's resolutions, and seeing lots of scarves. It has been a good time to review my own collection and think about where it's at and where I'd like to go this year. Thank you, @bunnycat , for getting us off to a great start for the year.

I pulled out my red Jungle Love Tatouage (Tattoo) to wear today, thinking that it was an example of where I was following a popular trend. Certain scarves are popular for a reason, and adding them to a collection should be considered. However, I feel that I need to resolve to be more careful about following trends. For example, I hadn't been on this scarf forum for very long before I found that people really, really like jacquard fabric scarves. They are certainly nice, but I don't really get all that excited by them, and this past year I sold three of my jacquard scarves. One reason that I purchased this Jungle Love Tatouage was because it had a bee jacquard.

Last night I was looking at bunny's IG post about her new Jungle Love stamped 70, and admiring it very much, and thinking that perhaps this beauty would have a place in my collection.

Then, it occurred to me that a resolution posted earlier this week might make more sense for me today. Shop your collection. (Thank you, @Coco2606 .) My JL Tattoo lacks Gianpaolo Pagni's clever embellishments, but it is still based on a red tattoo version of Dallet's gorgeous design. So, I’ll attempt to make it work.

My last contributions are the scarves I wore at the end of the week to reach my goal of wearing more scarves
My cashmere losange without a name and my beloved MeM. I decided to wear it more often and not only admire it!

Sneaking in with a final resolution to continue to experiment with colors in the New Year. Green is my hardest color to get right. I err on the side of teal, for the most part (or the vert noir color of Lazy Leopardesses and yesterday's Laboratoire) but last season I bought a shawl with a green hem and Chorus Stellarum with its pops of lime and then I took a big plunge into the color by acquiring this undeniably bright green Marwari shawl. I was nervous about the citron colored tear drops in the design but I actually am enjoying my experiment quite a bit!

Thank you for a very exciting new theme @Karenska! Nice to read you after your misadventures last week. I hope all is well. The photos you shared announce a fantastic week (I hope that Sieste au Paradis, Tous les bateaux and other grails will be out for the eyes to enjoy!). Contrasting edges are often a detail that makes me drool, especially in the "berlingot" version like your latest example of the bassets.
I chose "Washington carriage patchwork" as my SOTD because it combines both: contrasting roll and explosive edge!

I think these are all wonderful on you, Lkb. Cheval Marwari is a beautiful strong green but doesn’t overpower. The citron gives it point. A beautiful cw and lovely on you. I love green and definitely embrace it.
Speaking of hems, here is my beloved Acte III with lots of bright greens and a very yellow hem.

A number of months ago I finally found my first Sieste au Paradis, here in the 140 silk format. This scarf is all about the borders, and, as many of you have shown, ties and drapes beautifully. My scarf says it is gray and bright yellow, but I detect a lot of blue along with an orange hem, colors that I associate with Blippi. He makes videos for children on YouTube, and I can verify that the kiddos love him.

Great memory @MAGJES ! I do own the JL bee jacquard, I’m not sure if I’m twins with @Redbirdhermes as mine is the hot pink version yet photographs more red. I struggle with wearing this one as I’m intimidated by the sheer white space but it isn’t one I see myself able to chop.

I fell in love with the Moorish border on the Danse des Amazones design and requested it as soon as I saw it in this green / gold / black colorway. It also has a weird choice for the trim - dark blue - found nowhere else in the design. I love that though... gives me confidence to wear it with my go-to color navy.

Modern grace and sophistication! I adore your Colliers de Chiens and Le Chien, des anges gardiens! Coco has a look of an expert! She is a true beauty without any Colliers, but she certifies that your silk Collier with intricate design, elaborate border and delicate lilac hem is simply the best!

I’ve not gotten too spend much time in Scarflandia over the last few weeks so will be trying to catch up as I prefer not to miss anything any of you post.

This is what I wore to the office today: Coupons Indiens, tying in the little bits of green on this otherwise perky, even joyful colorway on a very gray-skyed day. I love the fuchsia contrast hem and all the pinks and corals and mango. It’s one of my favorites that I purchased last summer.
