Thank you @Coco2606 -- this is the "Waterfall Knot" from Mai Tai's Scarf Art App. It is easy to manage and I find it far less voluminous with a 70 than with a 90- but it does have the advantage os staying secure while showing a lot of the design...

Thank you @JulieKat!

Congratulations on your new GT @GloWW0rM -- this was the first GT I bought (in the other blue) and it started a love affair with the format! I think this marine blue is simply beautiful and perfect with your outfit and your lovely hair and lippie.

What a great intro @Karenska! Lovely to see your Pytheas (x2) and Jungle Love Rainbow featured as well as my favorite Ex Libris Atlantis! Thank you...and hope the ribs are healing quickly...

Thank you @Katharina Luise -- it was a big bold step for me but like you-- my recently grey hair is prompting some changes!

Wow, @Coco2606. I never realized this scarf had such dynamic corners! Beautiful...

Thank you @Snausages-- that is La Selle Imaginaire-- total coup de foudre in the Greenwich Boutique last October!

Beautiful greens in that corner of your Acte III @Karenska and such a great contrast hem!

Very very beautiful cw and what a glorous addition to your collection! Congratulations @Redbirdhermes-- I love the colors and your scarf is perfectly captured in the photo among the tress...Beautiful mod shot!

Thank you @Sammy Royal-- it is hard not to fall in love with this design over and over...

What a beautiful cw @ivy1026! I am not a cat owner and I could not say no either-- it is charming with the yellow hem...

Lovely @Pirula and so nicely tied and paired-- this is the one we are all urging @Nomad to keep! This post is perfectly persuasive! One of the best candy cane hems ever...

Wow @MAGJES-- another beautiful Le Chat! Which cw is this? I love that hem and the interior cat colors are so lovely and dramatic. Great contrast.

Thank you @Maedi-- I came very close to being your twin (the coral and brown if I am not mis-remembering?) but am happy to be your emerald green sister!

Thank you @Ladybaga-- that is just the nicest reassurance to a scarfie exploring a new color for her closet!

This is such a fabulous graphic wonder of a scarf and that green hem just seals the deal @Langsam. So nice to see you here. I love this paired with burgundy, too.
Oh, thank you, Lkbnola for both nice comments :hugs:. Ribs healing very nicely, considering. Been pampering myself and definitely not overdoing it.

I'll admit I didn't "get" the green hem on Omnibus Remix, at first. Now, I'd miss that palate-cleansing accent if it were gone.

Langsam, so nice to see you and your lovely scarf, Twin! I admit same - was like -what? But I became enlightened and enlightenment is good. Love this on you, it’s tied to show off the amazing stripes and shapes, and makes me appreciate mine all the more. :hugs:

Good morning everyone! My examples today feature scarves where the border provides a "frame" for the design. Not everyone likes this feature; some scarfies have a strong preference for an end-to-end design and visually, whereas a contrast or "non-sequitur" hem as @Pirula has dubbed it, can be a charming, fun or dramatic feature, sometimes a frame border makes its own demands of scarf and wearer. From the small format to the large here are some examples from my collection:

Such beautiful scarves and even more, the ties to showcase them. You could teach a masterclass in how to showcase borders via expert knotting!

I’ve not gotten too spend much time in Scarflandia over the last few weeks so will be trying to catch up as I prefer not to miss anything any of you post.

This is what I wore to the office today: Coupons Indiens, tying in the little bits of green on this otherwise perky, even joyful colorway on a very gray-skyed day. I love the fuchsia contrast hem and all the pinks and corals and mango. It’s one of my favorites that I purchased last summer.

I absolutely love this collection of oddball colors together. Such an unexpected but gorgeous pairing. Your styling and color choice looks marvelous on you!

keeping my resolution of wearing the scarves I love more, rather than all the ones I am deciding whether to keep or not. But now somehow it’s all switched to putting on clothes I might want to get rid of from my closet  . I have gone from two closets to one woo hoo.
As you can imagine lots of oranges, orange reds, and yellows left my closet, just like my scarf collection shown last week. But this top is being kept.
Wish I put a lippie on, but oh well. Sometimes I feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland chanting "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!"

I adore that pink sweater in your first pic LKB. It looks soooo cozy. As you know we are Plumes twins!

This one imo is the most amazing colorway and hope I will be able to add it to my collection as well.
SOTD with one of the best borders and hems. Pelages et Camoflages. So exotic and definitely edgy. View attachment 5688293

This top should stay, the scarf too. Beautifull !

Attempting my very first SOTD post. I cannot figure out how to take a decent me in my scarf selfie, so I am giving myself a little grace for my first post.

In keeping with the happy hems theme, I wore my only design with bicolor hems (I have this in 2 formats). Unfortunately, you cannot see the hems in the photo! Ha! Failure all around!

But here she is. Millefleurs du Mexique, 140cm in mousseline. She is very floofy and I struggle with a good knot. Suggestions welcome!

****

Edited to add photo of how I retired it into a headband using an off- brand chaine d’ancre style ring.
