What a wonderful creative knot! Did you bring the corner ends around and tie behind?Apologies for two posts in one day (I know this thread gets very fast and full!), but this is my actual SOTD and it fits our theme to a T. My new puppy's schedule is crowding my morning mod shot routine, but here is Robe du Soir, tied to show both its amazingly beautiful border and its surprising pink contrast hem: two for one!

Gorgeous Fuchsia FofA! This colorway with the new “do” is working!Jese- Did you mean to post in the seasonal thread? I'm guessing you are talking about the vermillion Costumes? I think there are some mod shots there but maybe not enough to tell the shade of vermillion. The ZP triangle vermillion from a couple of seasons ago leaned red but it was on cashmere. The vermillion this season, so far to me leans orange on the silk, but I have not seen enough mod shots to say for sure.
A most happy hem in fuchsia and fabulously bodacious border in typical Ardmore style! Wearing Flowers of South Africa a bit last week.

Back to work today. Half-punk, half-princess mood. SOTD, Chorus stellarum and its kick-ass green edge!
I looked at @LKBNOLA 's photo, but I don't have the touch (yet). A question of time and training!

Fabulous Colliers Le Chien colors! Beautiful green sweater btw.
Twins Langsam! Love how you tied it.I'll admit I didn't "get" the green hem on Omnibus Remix, at first. Now, I'd miss that palate-cleansing accent if it were gone.

A Perfectly Phabulous Parade!
Thank you both @Cookiefiend and @momasaurus!More of the brown/blue you do so well!
Three very different beauties that I love to see on you @bunnycat! I have seen Mumbai come along from time to time and I am always curious about that fringe...thank you for the explanation-- love learning new things here! And yesterday, I had another legit two scarf day! It was cool enough in the morning for Mumbai, with a teal contrast border that really makes the rest of the scarf pop, and while it doesn't have a happy hem, it has a happy fringe on the edges.I always wondered how they made these fringed scarves stay put, and being a weaver, my mind envisaged tiny, tiny hemstitch all around.
But when I look close, it looks like they are banking on the stickiness of the wool, and hand knotted corners to keep things from unraveling.

Then in the afternoon for some visits to the various parents I wore the most bodacious border of them all- Sieste au Paradis, with its very happy bright pink hem. My hair has returned to its usual out of control state.

A perfect example for this week’s theme and your Robe du Soir is gorgeous and gorgeously tied, Lkb. What a border and hem! Oh my… Please give pups a pet each!
Perfectly tied- RduS is a wonder!
How, just how did you knot and wrap this scarf?
Thank you @Karenska, @bunnycat, and @Cookiefiend! For @HoneyLocks (and @MAGJES) this is a diagonal fold with the sides pulled through the ring held vertically until the points pass through. Center the points and then tie the tails behind your neck. It is far far easier with a CdA ring-- each fold passing through its own loop. (AS below)That is gorgeous!
Coco is the most adorable helper ever and your scarf and sweater are perfect @Cookiefiend-- we were on the same wavelength! Double whammy and Two-fer today...SOTD is a double whammy - fantastic borders, fabulous hem.

Beautiful pairing with this scarf on the sweater picking up the lovely greens!I’ve not gotten too spend much time in Scarflandia over the last few weeks so will be trying to catch up as I prefer not to miss anything any of you post.
This is what I wore to the office today: Coupons Indiens, tying in the little bits of green on this otherwise perky, even joyful colorway on a very gray-skyed day. I love the fuchsia contrast hem and all the pinks and corals and mango. It’s one of my favorites that I purchased last summer.

I love the contrast navy hem on this!I fell in love with the Moorish border on the Danse des Amazones design and requested it as soon as I saw it in this green / gold / black colorway. It also has a weird choice for the trim - dark blue - found nowhere else in the design. I love that though... gives me confidence to wear it with my go-to color navy.

I think these are all wonderful on you, Lkb. Cheval Marwari is a beautiful strong green but doesn’t overpower. The citron gives it point. A beautiful cw and lovely on you. I love green and definitely embrace it.
Speaking of hems, here is my beloved Acte III with lots of bright greens and a very yellow hem.

Thank you for the marvelous introduction to Hems and Borders Week, dear @Karenska . I'm glad that you are healing up and able to join the forum more than at first.
A number of months ago I finally found my first Sieste au Paradis, here in the 140 silk format. This scarf is all about the borders, and, as many of you have shown, ties and drapes beautifully. My scarf says it is gray and bright yellow, but I detect a lot of blue along with an orange hem, colors that I associate with Blippi. He makes videos for children on YouTube, and I can verify that the kiddos love him.

Oh my heavens @Redbirdhermes that Sieste!
@Foxy trini it’s always a delight to see you and those pinks are fab!Great memory @MAGJES ! I do own the JL bee jacquard, I’m not sure if I’m twins with @Redbirdhermes as mine is the hot pink version yet photographs more red. I struggle with wearing this one as I’m intimidated by the sheer white space but it isn’t one I see myself able to chop.
