I’d like to thank @Agrume for a wonderful presence hosting cashmere week!
Here, some of my first and still beloved shawls…
First of all L’Arbre du Vent was my SOYD

Today was definitely shawl weather outside but I’ve been hibernating all day at home wrapped in my favorite workhorse shawl: Colliers de Chien

I think everyone here knows my obsession with Parures de Samourais… These were my first CWs of the CSGM which I acquired in quick succession of each other

All so, so pretty, dear Karenska
Acte III in this CW is truly exquisite, you look so elegant and sophisticated in it. And I love you in your new Fleurs et Papillons de Tissus CSGT! It is delicate and vibrant at the same time. As for Summer Day I have a soft spot for this design and I find this CW really sweet, youthful and flattering- very summery indeed :)

I was fairly late in warming up to shawls (pardon the pun) since I live in a tropical climate and couldn’t justify them in my life and collection. However, after I took the plunge, I discovered their versatility and practicality.
I would like to share, in order, my first three shawls… They remain go-to favorites

There isn't a single shawl that you wouldn't look magnificent in, Fifi, but I always pause the longest over your mod shots in vibrant shawls. And your amazing IG posts on Cent Plis des Miao shawl (the shawl itself and then its styling) are just an example :)

I have a home in the mountains above Palm Springs and DH and I go down the mountain for dinner quite often. I know the scarf isn't meant to represent Palm Springs, but I can't help but think of it whenever I wear it. I think it's the architecture, palm trees, skates, and pool that do it for me. Rayures d'Ete was my SOTD. I ended up wearing the cowboy knot so I could show a little pink. (Flat photo from the internet below.)

Thank you all for creating this space to share and marvel at these wonders. I've so much enjoyed seeing all the beautiful cashmere formats this past week, thank you to @Agrume for hosting and Happy New Year all!

These are all so beautiful!!! They look lovely on you, I can’t tell which I like the best.

Happy Saturday, Scarflandia, and here is the last weekend of 2023! Time flies indeed!

I love this week’s theme as I almost exclusively wear cashmere 140 year round. Here is my latest addition to my shawl collection - Silk Mix by Elias Kafouros, which was issued as part of men’s collection in 2019.

Happy New Year everyone - may the new year brings us grail scarves and many fabulous opportunities to wear them!

You look positively regal in your navies and blues, SilkCouture  thank you for sharing this step by step guide to your beautiful knot

Good afternoon from Berlin where we have just arrived, after a night on call. With lots of scarves for the 4 days here (> 1/d). SOTD, at least for the trip, was Awoooooo, in a small format. Wish you all a good end of this year and a peaceful 2024. Thank you for being such a positive community! :flowers:

Thank you for hosting this week, enjoy Berlin, last I was there was 1992 and the same wishes for you. Safe travels.

Happy Almost New Year, Scarflandia. With a very warm thank you to @Agrume for hosting us through cashmere week. Thank you also to everyone for sharing so many wonderful pieces-- they are all so beautiful and as @Agrume said, they each assume a particular individuality with each wearer, which is so nice to see.
I would like to close by sharing my first grail CSGM-- and my most recent. I was quite late to the party on this format, but once I dipped my toe in the water, I was quickly swimming in the deep end! After acquiring a few in the regular seasons, I started haunting the Ode to CSGM thread and compiling "The Wish List." At the very top of that list was Parures de Samurais, which was a "gateway design" for me-the one that started it all. I am still a bit afraid of this beautiful piece and tend to baby it more than I should but my New Year's Resolution is to actually wear some of my grail acquisitions. We shall see how I do!

And my most recent acquisition, which I was fortunate to find at a fair price, was another design I have collected in multiples because I love it so much. Introducing my new-to-me Ex Libris en Kimonos in cw 07-- a beautiful, lush, astonishing wonder. I am thrilled to have it. (Editing to add that I am pretty sure I am twins with @Croisette7!).

Congratulations! You wear Samurai beautifully but Ex Libris in these colors is breathtaking.
