Thank you, Snausages ... I love the sherbet colour too.Oh my word this is gorgeous @Croisette7 and I think this is a colorway that has never graced Ye Olde Scarf Drawer (if it had it never would have left!)
Your ZP is so gorgeous!I have 2 cashmere GTs (no giant silk GTs perhaps this needs to be rectified) - I find them more difficult to knot vs a straight 140 but it always works out

Lovely on you, Cookie ... keep calm and relax now!Woefully behind, please accept my apologies!
@Agrume what a great intro and I loved your last post with Bal de Soie - that organ must be extraordinary to hear.
I’m barely poking my head out of the Christmas Palooza that happened at my house… who knew I had so many plates, platters, wine glasses, gewgaws and doo-dads in my house?
And I still had to take the car in for service!
So today, I’m getting a break - cuz I’m at the office … which has had its own lolapalooza - but I am capable and I’m wearing a losange (extra absorbent to wipe way tears of frustration - stoopid cable company) with bright PINK polka dots.
Do polka dots fix everything?
I. Think. So.

Thank you, Agrume! This green cw is otherworldly, Croisette!
Thank you!
Your way of wearing sweet dreams is great for this format, Snausages! Must try this.
Thank you, Cookie! I agree on the Polka dots, lovely scarf!
Very nice colourway of a cute design, RBH! And an unexpectedly successful pairing indeed!
Both are very pretty on you!It makes no sense but somehow a GT just feels like, well, a triangle which I rarely do with any size. I could do the bias on the GT but then it feels so loooong. Will try to play a bit the next time I get dressed in something other than sweats 😎
And to keep things on topic I could try one of these knots

Thank you very much, LKB!Thank you all so much! @orchard, toes and fingers crossed for you; @GloWW0rM, it is perhaps vibrant in a way that is different from my usual choices but I have fallen for it! I am happy you think it likes me backand @Maedi-- I can't wait to see all the ways you pair it, dear twin!
Lovely @Awillow! And as @Cookiefiend said, it is so nice to see you posting again...
I love this one, too @EtsyBoss-- I share custody with my DD -- she loves the details, too and I love the pretty blue and the green "checked" border, so unexpected and fun. Here's ours, waving hello

I love a good organ concert @Agrume and I love your Bal de Soie-- we are twins! I do love the format even though I am now firmly in love also with its bigger (double!) sisters. Bal de Soie in this cw was my most worn GT and it was a phenomenally useful piece during my early fall trip to Portugal. The GTs are so easy to wear and pack...
How beautiful and your matching nail polish is so pretty @Croisette7!
Your GTs are fabulous (and you know I confess that I ordered the magnets @Snausages, you influencer, you!). I love your cw of 12 Leopards CSGM and I'm amazed by the braid tie on Clic Clac!!! Than you also for the Jaguar and Hummingbird love...
You may be Having a Day but your outfit is ruling the situation, for sure! Polka dots to the rescue @Cookiefiend! They can charm any palooza into submission...
Congratulations @Redbirdhermes! What a serendipitous pairing between your GT and your new Precious Paradise. And I am so happy that you scored the cw that you hoped for-- it is perfect. Can't wait to see other ties...
Thank you, fifi!Yes, that is a great knot because it shows so much of the scarf and is so easy to wear… Love this design and this is a fabulous CW
No words… Breathtaking!
Brise de Charme was issued as à mousseline? Is this one changeant? It is sublime!
One can stare at this one for years and always discover new details! Such a dynamic and upbeat design!
Love this design! Really works in this format! Magnificent organ!
Glorious! What a delicious CW!
You wear these colors so well! Love both
I am a huge fan of polka dots and there is not a polka dotted scarf that I didn’t like… especially pink!
This is a match made in heaven! So harmonious together! Precious Paradise is actually the only design from SS24 that is calling me and my fav CWs are yours and the khaki so I am so glad to actually see it in action! It is a delightful design!
You style them so creatively and wear them with such panache!
Ohmygosh… dreamy!
Can’t think of any artist from that period more suited to demonstrate the connection between portrait art, fashion and decoration, except perhaps, Boldini… What a gorgeous exhibit it must have been!
Such a fun shawl and love this CW!
Sooo amazing! Even when we have one tiny peek, it shines!
Many thanks, Anna! It’s a mousseline. They are a lot more durable when one thinks, but I am not enthused about that price tag. I think they are hand dyed with a special technique, plus they have a small embroidery, which adds to the price. These types of scarves have been done before with think cashmere (although those were made in Nepal, I believe). If you google ‘Hermes ombré scarf,’ you will see some examples on the resale market.
Looks warm and cozy!
Stunning design, and I really like how it goes with your jacket. You are always so color-coordinated.
Eek, I hate dealing with cable companies. At least you are impeccably accessorized while dealing with them!
Very cool! You look ready for the winter with this double act.
This looks stunning! Hope the other guests appreciated your fashion statement.
Ohhhh very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
This colorway was definitely so popular this season! I really like it with your sweater.
This is a lovely design. I really wish I could wear cashmere, it would be one of the top on my list.
Stunning as always!!!
Ohhh. That is Hornimanns Museum right??? I was there last December and it is great.Posing with the centuries old, over-stuffed Walrus at one of our local natural history museums.

Oh wow, I am seriously impressed that anyone other than those who live in the vicinity of The Horniman Museum would know of it as it’s small and quirky but perfect for hiding from a storm. Haha, yes I think everyone visiting the walrus feels the same way!Ohhh. That is Hornimanns Museum right??? I was there last December and it is great.
That walrus looks like I feel after the intensive feast-program I have this Holiday.
Have a Good time at the museum!!
Twins with you on this Libre Comme Pegase. I also love it and wear it often. It pairs seamlessly with your coat.Hi scarfies! Dropping in to say hello, well wrapped up against December winds with Libre Comme Pégase 140. I do like what Hermès had to say about this one:
Ce cheval aérien, c'est Pégase bien sûr, qui déploie son désir de liberté et de protection, emportant avec lui tous les mythes qui habitent nos rêves d'enfants. Et la nuit, il devient constellation, comme le veut la légende.
Translated: This aerial horse, it's Pegasus of course, who here deploys his wish for freedom and protection, bringing with him all the myths that live in the dreams of children. And at night, he becomes a constellation, according to legend.

I am also sporting a new Jaguar this morning for a day trip up to Boston for a museum morning and lunch with friends.

@Jereni : the second scarf ring is an alternative to tying a knot when the ends are short. If you have enough to knot the corners, you won’t need it. If you like the tie a little looser, or the ‘bib’ part a little longer, you can use a small chain d’ancre to secure the ends behind your neck without knotting them. It holds pretty well.
One of my favorite CSGM, L'Epopee with its very pretty light blue background sprinkled with vibrant emerald green and soft rosy pink accents and so many lovely little details tracing the history of H.

Today a full day at work, but at home not too late. SOTD is one of the 2 giant triangles I own, not my most favourite format - I prefer a “full” CSGM. But the design, Bal de soie, is adorable. One of the masks pictures an organ - we listened to a fabulous organist (playing this organ) at the Christmas midnight mass.

Happy Holidays scarflandia! I've been so busy with work and holiday guests that all I've been able to do is keep up with your wonderful posts and mod shots. I think I've worn out the Like/Love buttons!Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the past couple of weeks - your examples are inspiring and so appreciated!
A very special thank you to @Living.la.vida.fifi for being such a wonderful host last week, your jewelry and scarf pairings are extraordinary.
And a very special thank you to @Agrume for being our fabulous guide this week. A week I've been waiting for because my collecting goal for 2023 was to try out CSGMs - a new to me size and format.
I'm thrilled to show you the lovely shawl I found under my holiday tree, compliments of DH (who picked it out all by himself!) - my Clair de Lune Shawl in noir/blanc. I know you've seen it before (and I'm twins and sisters with many of you), but I'm so happy I'd like to share it again. Here are a couple quick pics of my new Christmas scarf:

How fabulous and cozy !Hello, everyone. I am just back from the beautiful exhibit "Fashioned by Sargent" at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I could have spent many more hours there just taking in the beauty and detail of the portraiture, garments, ornaments and the wonderful anecdotes accompanying many of the iconic works we know, such as Madame X. I fell in love with a piece that was previously unknown to me and, as it perfectly suits our theme, I made us a little collage of this intriguing painting titled "Cashmere." I included the description and also a photo of the shawl worn in the painting. I hope you enjoy this little souvenir of my delightful day!
