Red and grey - swoon!!!!

Love the knot! The dark top really makes the pale green pop!

Another red and grey delight!

Love the border on this and your outfits make it sing! And another pair of great earrings.

This grey and red is another delight!

Yay pareo!

So elegant! If you fold it properly and put something a bit weighty on it (hahaha, a pile of folded scarves!) will the wrinkles flatten?

Stunning g with they lavender-gray!

Oh my goodness it’s beautiful! Love how it goes with so many other colors!

I love a good chameleon scarf! It looks so different in each knot and all the tops are great pairings
Thank you, Snausages. I’m loving it more and more…

Perfect pairings!
Thank you, dear @Snausages!

Like Bunnycat, I’m delighted with a cool front this late in the year that allows me to play with cashmere. Normally I’d wear this with more muted colors but this week’s theme inspired me to try a bright green

And then a little scarf mail arrived that worked with the same cardi

Tyger Tyger 90, which I could probably wear every day this week with different tops and no one would notice the scarf-on-repeat

Your Tyger Tyger is one of the most beautiful scarves ever, I think! Love it and you are looking gorgeous!

You inspired me today @Katharina Luise (as you will see). I pulled a scarf in similar colors and played with different wardrobe options too. You look extremely stylish for your grocery store!.
Thank you dear @LKBNOLA!

I should qualify something here. I said in my post “I know the work is about the Roman god not the planet”. That’s inaccurate. The work isn’t about the god (Mozart wasn’t writing a piece about Jupiter), it’s the nickname the work was given that references the god, and not the planet. For me, the piece conjurs up the mighty and majestic heavens, nonetheless. Just had to clarify that. To keep it on-theme, Dmitri Rybaltchenko’s design is mighty and majestic, too, isn’t it?!

It really is! An absolute beauty!

Inspired by @Katharina Luise and my scarf twin @Teaforparrots, I pulled my Chemins de Corail in dusky blue and rust red colors and tried to lighten it up. I normally pair it with more autumn outfits but it is getting a new lease on spring and summer life this week...
With a new burgundy striped mariniere:

I feel so honored to be an inspiration, dear @LKBNOLA! Usually you are an inspiration for me, so this makes me very happy! :hugs: Chemins de corail looks perfect with all your tops! The last one with this great knot is especially gorgeous!

You're not kidding, between the wind gusting to 40 knots and temps in the high forties today, Massachusetts is a frigid zone right now!

But my oh my, this ensemble is absolutely divine! The jacket is perfection with the shawl, and the blue of your Plume picks up the bright blue of the horse's legs. Brava!
You are so kind! Thank you! The wedding is in Newport, actually, but the forecast is not optimistic. I may have to wear shortjohns ; ) under that summer dress!

Thank you, dear @Snausages!

I wonder if you should add a light longer-sleeved shrug over the dress and then the shawl? Just a thought. Sounds like a divine location. Newport is fantastic.

It’s incredibly windy here in the Capital District, too. Been so for days.

Thank you all for your nice comments about my "Polka Dot Flip"-- it sounds like a dance, a dessert or a hair-do!

So nice to hear your review of your birthday concert @Karenska. It sounds wonderful and it is also wonderful to see Clair de Lune out and about in the world!
Somehow I missed your reply, Lkb, so sorry. It was a lovely day, and I was overjoyed to wear my beauty for the first time. I received a compliment from a lovely lady wearing a beautiful scarf, too! It was floral and paired with a kind of melon/coral-colored jacket. She looked lovely and we had fun admiring each other’s scarves.

Well, this was an interesting exercise this morning. If you recall, yesterday I paired my brown Jardins d'Hiver with a light blue-green top. Today, I'm planning to swap scarf and top colors.

And, here we are.

Now, I'm not completely convinced that brown is the best color for this scarf, so I tried others.

Unlike many of you, I have completely different wardrobes for summer and winter. I am still wearing my winter wardrobe and I suspect that this colorway may turn out to be a summer scarf. I'll try it again in a few weeks with some of my summer tops.
It will be perfect for summer, but I have to say, I also really love it with your darker green sweater

Beautiful dear @laurenad! Perfect soft colored harmony!

SOTD is Three Graces Zoom, appropriate for another Zoom Tuesday. Paired with a pink and a black shirt (I settled on the pink).

I love both combinations, but like you I prefer the pink one.

I am late to the party, so am combining themes for this week and last week, with my brightest and most colourful scarf. There are lots of colours to flip in this one! Excuse the styling, these were quick changes to flip colours without changing the other factors: lighting, location, necklace and knot are the same in each case.
It was interesting to see which colours were highlighted by changing the background colour of top, sweater or jacket. I was expecting the complimentary colour to be highlighted, but hadn’t considered how much it makes the opposite colour in the spectrum pop (e.g. the green and yellow details against the red jacket). It has made me reconsider how I pair outfit colours for sure!
I would never have thought to pair it with the soft green, but I really like this combo, which pulls the purple and pink tones, and balances the colours overall.

A great learning experience!
Beautiful, dear @Lellabelle! This really is one of those scarves, that go with everything!

And, inspired by Karenska and her lovely birthday celebrations; something at the opposite end of the spectrum: not a colour flip, but a colour harmony, instead. CDL. The lapis pendant belonged to my mother.

Gorgeous! And especially beautiful with your lapis!

SOTD Wild Singapore... another pairing prompted by this week's theme. It is so much fun!View attachment 5389520
Gorgeous! I love this combination of purples, pinks and blues!

I’ve never worn this with black! Been meaning to give pink and lavender a go, and perhaps navy. But never considered black so thank you Theme!!

So beautiful, dear @Snausages! But together with the black top and pink Lift it is just gorgeous! I love it!

Didn’t have time to put anything on before I got called away BUT was thinking these two blazers to play on the two colors of the scarf!

Beautiful combinations! Especially with your cute Evie! I love it!

Rêve d’Australie is one of my favorites of all time! CSGMs are still perfect in our cool windy Maine spring. I didn’t have time to pair it with offsetting colors, but here is mine.

Wonderful! Beautiful and cozy at the same time!

GTN as SOTD with navy Tee and Cardi. @bunnycat’s recommendation and I like it.
Oh! I like it too!
