So beautiful and classic, and of course the way you tie your scarves is so chic!Off-theme. Central Park.View attachment 5391761
Oh, a wishlist item! Pirula, this is a gorgeous cw and paired so well!
Dear Karenska, thank you! Will try with the mod shots. So funny you should mention Acte III, which I have in the bleu CW as well. Having one blue scarf NEVER EVER deters me from getting another! My collection is mostly an ode to all the beautiful H blues...You will look so chic, French Girl, I hope you will post mod shots. The dress is very elegant and that blue CU is perfect. It’s GORGEOUS. We are sisters because I have the rose cw. I tried on the blue at H in the Financial District in NYC, and I liked it bery much but because I have Acte III CSGM in the bleu jean cw, I just couldn’t buy it. I came home with Tigre Royal Fleuri 70 instead.
Lellabelle, this wedding is also a delayed one. It was supposed to happen October 2020. They did get married in the backyard last year, so I look forward to seeing how one navigates the wording of vows/etc... in that instance. I have known the groom since he was born, so we are happy to witness their joy. Those blues… swoon!
Just last week, I attended the first wedding I have been to since the pandemic. Also outdoors, and tented! They chose to delay it a full year, so that they could celebrate with friends and family. Have a wonderful time, and congratulations to the happy couple!
Thank you so much!Gorgeous outfit. This scarf is a dream, and I LOVE your dress.
Just stunning with the biker jacket!!!
I never hesitate to do a light spray of water ( I keep a spray bottle just for H) followed by the iron set on silk setting. You don't need to push the iron hard, just let it glide gently and let the steam that results do the job. This shawl is very elegant in its simplicity.Good day, dear ScarfLovers,
Just looking for some input here. Many of you know about my love affair with the Encadre GT. Well, this camel/gris chine/jaune cw, which I have admired, came my way for a decent price in a ‘new’ condition (laminated tag still attached) but lightly wrinkled instead of properly folded so typical of this particular online resale site. Grrrr!
I do love the colors and I have a couple of purses that would work with it but it is less versatile than my chocolat/blanc/rose and corail/naturale/cobalt cws, which are cws that work very well for me and for my wardrobe. What do you all think? Last pic is to show the wrinkles. Any thoughts how to gently smooth them out? My steamer is out - too hot and too wet. Original folds faded but I can find them and have folded it to the best of my ability. Any input is welcome and thank you.

I love this new colorway. That medium brown is absolutely gorgeous, and not boring at all. I did some quick Karenska Encadre research, and I can see that this scarf lacks the punch of the coral, or the richness of the deep chocolate, but I think it would also work with your outfits. It reminds me of a pair of fine brown leather boots or coat that can be worn with anything. And, I love having a choice, and this beauty adds to your options.Good day, dear ScarfLovers,

Thank you @Redbirdhermes! I took your advice when we went out-- not to a concert but a Peruvian place for an al fresco dinner!I think they all work, but the top picture is my favorite. It's partly the color, and partly the more sporty tie that suits the sweater t-shirt look. Now, add a jacket ( perhaps brown?) to the bottom two, and you are ready to attend another concert.
Just a gorgeous all around look @Thelittlefoxes!I guess I‘m not really on theme today with my actual SOTD: Le Jardin de la Maharani in a pale but lovely cw with a sweater and all bundled up later today because despite the sun it‘s still quite cold outside.

Thank you sweet @bunnycat!Double thumbs up for the tiny stripes. It echos the scale of the other details (stars and dots). This is a hard color combo for me too, and I think you've found some great fits.
What a beautiful Kantha @essiedub -- and the coordination with your pants is perfect!Carre Kantha to match my pants. Best I could do with - really hard for photo to reach pants
And here it is flat (sorry Her dog-highness refused to get out of the way)

Thank you so much @Nomad! I am 100% happy with both choices this season!you are making it really hard not to own this beauty!! amazing against the top, which I love too. Great color and fabric
wow now this all is H magic. Perfectly tied together looks. I am partial to the striped look best. The scale with the scarf, the juxtaposition of the cascading hemline against the horizontal stripes, and the not perfectly matchy matchy color of the top just puts it above.
Thank you @Marie-the-Mary-- as you know learning knots kept me occupied during the pandemic. I like both those options, too!IMHO it is very beautiful against the camel and blue background which reflect its wonderful colors. Your knots are amazing, @LKBNOLA!
Thank you @Thelittlefoxes-- mousselines are perfect for the New Orleans climate but let's face it. They are perfect, period. This mousseline is so dreamy and it looks great with your sweater.
Thank you @EtsyBoss-- like their long sleeved cousins, they are great for scarves...I absolutely love this with your short sleeve sweaters.
It gives me such joy to see your delight with yoour scarves @hikarupanda!Today’s style with an oldie.
Oh, gosh, I am just in love with this whole ensemble @frenchgirl! I think I am joining a very loud chorus of approval! I hope you have a marvelous time.In early May, we are going to our first wedding since the pandemic! New England is still very cool, so I am planning on my beloved CU shawl to accompany a jacket for pre-wedding drinks on Friday, and the same shawl to keep me from freezing during the outdoor ceremony and tent dinner. Cannot overstate how exciting it is to dress up again! And an H beauty certainly beats a cardigan!

Excellent pinks on the tiger and every combo with PC is <chef’s kiss>. I need you to come dress me every morning
Well! I have always loved your pairing with the greens but that soft pink has stolen my heart today @Snausages! (andMy own private Alice Shirley week continues with 3 Graces. I usually wear it to accent the brights but today gave a softer look a try

Beautiful on you @cakeymakeybakey -- congratulations on your new addition... (Good grief this day just flew by! I've been dealing with computer issues all day, and failed operating system updates (DH, who is a computer engineer, says there's a reason he calls it "Crapple"...).
Anyhoo, here I am trying to coordinate my lipstick to my scarf to stay on theme.
Scarf is "La Selle Imaginaire" in Gris Perle, Violet, Orange and Jaune by Jan Bajtlik. I adore it.

The knot is an attempt to experiment with my Trio scarf ring and a cowboy knot.
I just love how this scarf reveals different stories with each new fold...![]()
This red and grey together is so surprising and chic @Awillow! And thank you for all your nice remarks. No flipping today. Hopefully tomorrow. In the meantime here is Eperon d'Or.View attachment 5391478
Grand Tralala surprisingly in sync with my jacket.
I love this pink Grand Tralala @Maedi-- it was a close contender that I kept until the 29th possible day of the return window! It's sister cream and pink and blue was my final choice but it was not easy. It looks lovely with your coloring. And thank you, I do like some JCrew tops as the perfect base for scarves and nice colors, too!I think you get an A+++! I love all three styles but am partial to the simple and clean JCrew silhouettes.
Wonderful to pick up the yellow with the belt @Agrume! And smiling ruefully in recognition at the pandemic purchase volume increase in scarves!Good morning, from Scotland today - our meetings have started again, and it is wonderful to see colleagues in real life.
So yesterday saw a slight switch to my usual outfit for the trip, with the experiment of a yellow belt for Rendez-vous Rive Gauche. And for the first session on site, a surprise pairing of Ballet Aquatique. Today I need to think as I forgot the scarf I wanted to take. Need to practise travel scarf planning - before the Pandemic, I had considerably less scarves to choose from...View attachment 5391622View attachment 5391624
I am entranced by your lilac sweater jacket @Thelittlefoxes-- it is the perfect background for your perfect scarf! And of course, your earrings!Today with Savana Dance, trying to reflect the colours of the scarf in my outfit.

Lovely @Pirula -- a wish list design for me and wonderful stylings as always!
So wonderful to see you back here @irmapusen and looking so lovely in your new pareo! That is the same artist who did last season's Les Douze Leopards and her cat faces are irresistible! Enjoy your new fun beauty!Hi again all, I have had a long MIA but have now upgraded my phone and is able to read on by daily trip to work, so I have enjoied and liked alot. It is very pretty and quiet @Karenska-- I would follow @frenchgil's advice if I were a brave soul.Good day, dear ScarfLovers,
