Fantastic! Yay twin! :ghi5:

Just a regular iron will do the trick. No need for steam.

These are nice and definitely doable- but the second set with the olive deep green and turquoise are fantastic. These are midtown colors and this scarf needs more contrast.

All perfect for this week Hotgalaxy!

Thank you kindly! This FetPdeT is a CSGM rectangle. I considered the triangle, had hoped they's do a strong color. Loved the popular pink, purple and brown one, but felt I was already in that ballpark with my pink and black ZP. And I love the old 65/35 cashmeres, so when this black and red FetPdeT came up, I went ahead and got it. I did really want a triangle though. The colors this season just didn't work for me. And the designs they have chosen for next season don't do anything for me...so if they are still around next year, maybe I'll get another chance.

Yes! (Do you have a dark or bright pink lipstick with a cool tone? I think that would cinch the deal...)
Ah, thank you so kindly, Bunny, and @frenchgirl, for your excellent suggestions.

Y'all are so nice. And she landed a leading role thanks to all your amazing suggestions. This scarf really loves a bold color! And @bunnycat, I tried Rose Zinzolin with a topcoat of Cherries-in-the-Snow and I think you are 100% correct that a bolder tonality and the pink lip are the right calls. It takes a whole scarf village!

Marvelous and lovely lippy! Beautiful mod shots, great pairings but please don’t forget that acqua look with this beauty because I think it rocks!

My SOTD is auditioning. She has not yet joined the cast of my Scarf Company. For one thing, she is waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone and she brings two difficult colors for me to the table. I have learned the hard way never to add a scarf where I am iffy about one color-- especially a prominent one. Love the aqua here but embracing the greens today to see how it goes... It is impressive and you wear is so well! I particularly love the first pairing with the pale yellow sweater which at once softens and magnifies the bold colors. And that green hem is so fresh and delectable to look at!

wow! This is a gorgeous red!
Hi again all, I have had a long MIA but have now upgraded my phone and is able to read on by daily trip to work, so I have enjoied and liked alot. And of course been enabled, and tempted. looks great on you!! I hope they come back online
Good day, dear ScarfLovers,
Just looking for some input here. Many of you know about my love affair with the Encadre GT. Well, this camel/gris chine/jaune cw, which I have admired, came my way for a decent price in a ‘new’ condition (laminated tag still attached) but lightly wrinkled instead of properly folded so typical of this particular online resale site. Grrrr!
I do love the colors and I have a couple of purses that would work with it but it is less versatile than my chocolat/blanc/rose and corail/naturale/cobalt cws, which are cws that work very well for me and for my wardrobe. What do you all think? Last pic is to show the wrinkles. Any thoughts how to gently smooth them out? My steamer is out - too hot and too wet. Original folds faded but I can find them and have folded it to the best of my ability. Any input is welcome and thank you.

I love it! It is a beautiful rich color and so elegant. And an iron will work just fine on it as bunny said.
Le Grand Prix du Faubourg is another design that I purchased in a colorway that I probably wouldn't have chosen had I been given more choices. It is in these purple hues.

Recently I purchased another colorway that is probably my favorite of all.

View attachment 5391564

I'll save my new scarf for tomorrow's explorations, and try some flips on the purple for today.

Looking through the archives I find that I've worn this scarf with dark purple as well as the medium green that is sprinkled throughout the design.

View attachment 5391565View attachment 5391566

I also tried it with yesterday's blue top.

View attachment 5391567

I think these colors all work, but upon closer inspection I see pale rose, yellow and lavender in what I had written off as a boring monotone scarf. Let's see how this lavender-gray and creamy white tops work today.

View attachment 5391791View attachment 5391793

The lavender-gray.

View attachment 5391831

And, the creamy white.

View attachment 5391832

I'm wearing the lavender-gray for today, but I'm going to keep this scarf in mind for the creamy white in the future.
Congratulations! Both are amazing. I especially love this purple. And yes, that lavender gray goes so well

Red said it so well, it has plenty to go with in your closet. It is a stunning design. I now see by your third post that it does indeed look amazing with those bold colors. But I am most smitten with the first post second pic of an aqua I think it is. Wow. love.
I tried my La Selle Imaginaire with a few different colour t.shirts. I would never have chosen the grey to wear with this scarf, but it turned out to be a winner !!.

as another scarfie said, it reminds me so much of chants. Your first pic especially so. This scarf is beyond versatile with it looking so different with ties.

can’t go wrong with any MZ. It looks amazing on you.
As usual terribly unglamorous photo but this is my latest addition, Faubourg tropical 140! I'm head over heels in love, the colours, the softness and the relaxed, slouchy fabric. Need more 140 chales! View attachment 5392109
Great csgm design. Congratulations
Scarf mail! carneval de venise in perfect condition. So happy to add this to my collection. Wore today with pink cardigan and whit View attachment 5392114View attachment 5392115View attachment 5392116
Oooh thanks for posting your new beauty! I always wondered how this would look on. It is beautiful!!

Pirula, this is lovely. M&M is a scarf I so admire. I have never been able to settle on a cw enough to commit, but this is a wonderful one!!

Irmapusen, I have not succumbed to the pareo format. Yet. But this second photo has me contemplating it.

K, I love it! It is so you. Bummer about the wrinkles but I bet you can get it back in shape. Bunny will have good advice, I am sure!

Scarf, hooray for scarf mail! Congrats on your find. I love the second tie especially.
A quick pop in to post sotd. I wore this today because I have only worn it once or twice. Grand prix maxi. I also wore it to see if I might be more interested in that chants/wow muffler haha. I love the colors in it and I don’t own either.
