Many Thanks @scarf1 & @Bova123
So kind- Thank you

So distinctive (that ceramic piece with hand-built animals is astounding) Thanks for sharing with us

Belgians are such lovely & reliable souls (with feet -rightly- like dinner plates) :giggle:
You may try finding an equine 4-H program to volunteer through your local agriculture extension office?
Thank you, turfnsurf, I didn’t see this comment until now. Dinner plates . I appreciate the volunteer suggestion. The therapeutic riding center is closed, although I didn’t get that from their website, so guess what? I’m taking riding lessons! Will have my second lesson on Tuesday. Very humbling and I loved the class. Wonderful stables, very clean and horses beautifully taken care of. Feeling so grateful. I know others on this thread will be interested in my comment, thinking of @AnnaE and @Sammy Royal! I appropriately wore Cavald’or losange to my first lesson this week, a very cold day. 754F1BFA-15F2-46C2-A577-D5ED871C5FF7.jpeg

I am dreadfully behind on this thread and I look forward to catching up over the weekend. I’ll share a couple of scarves from this week, Baobab Cat silk 90 and Jaguar Quetzal CSGM.

Twins on Baobab!!! Alice Shirley is another heavy scarf crush of mine.

Many pages of pretty silks to catch up on!

Since so many others have showcased some of my favorites, I’ll share an underrated artist, known mostly for Turandot, Natsuno Hidaka as it so happens I pulled this one from the tansy this weekend to wear.

Spectacular lanit! Your color choices are always amazing!

Stay safe and warm dear bunny! Hope the weekend warms up for all of your state and region! Friends have reported that power is restored for many. You look fab in any case no matter how many layers at least it is in style! Xox

Thank you kindly! :hugs:

I have taken liberties this week w the love theme Because I love so many designers I just can’t pick one and so many others have already shown my favorites....so today, it’s my LOVE of changeants!!!!! Fell hard since the new year. @bunnycat helped me with identifying my first one which I returned because the beige colors w a peridot highlight were awful on me. And she helped me with my next one too! Now I‘ve got two more that came this week and two more on the way .
Excuse all the lint on my black shirt. It’s my under-layer piece. I had a cozy sweater over it earlier in the day.
Parures des Sables green w purple highlight, La Rosee which is a very subtle one w a pink highlight, and Arabesques with the fiery oranges and almost reds. I call it my hot lava scarf. View attachment 4996473View attachment 4996474View attachment 4996475

I love seeing these in all their fabulous changeant glory! Congrats on them all and it was my pleasure to help!

And my grail of all silks only one design that I could find, Antoine de Jacquelot, Ecume.

All beauties and of course- that Ecume!!!

Two gorgeous pieces, bunnycat ... congratulations!

Thank you Croisette! :hugs:

These are such wonderful selections for the week Croisette!
thank you, Cookie! :hugs:

thank you, Turfnsurf !

thank you, Croisette !

thank you, Magjes! :flowers:

thank you, Bunnycat, and the gavroche is lovely!

this scarf in your vault is something to look forward to. Take care!

great look, Alleycat.

Thank you, Moma!:flowers:

this is a great colourway as well! And I love your vases, Moma!

thank you, Fifi!

love this B/W Tyger, Fifi! I let it go...

perfect with your lipstick, Pirula!

lovely!

this Baobab looks great when tied like this!

what a great colourway for this Heian, Lanit!

love all three of those!

Fabulous !

Beautiful, Croisette, and spring colours of this Springs...

It is...I probably won't have to wait too long.... I may break this one out of confinement....

You are right, 27leborse! It's the only 140cm format which doesn't overwhelm me.

I've been wearing mainly the 90s this week, and the other formats are squawking in protest :giggle:
Two gavs, worn solo and worn together. I find the pale green bird and rich purple border rather difficult to wear. The pale green matches this unusual plant we found in one of our pots.
View attachment 4996668
For @Living.la.vida.fifi, the 140cm Mythiques Phoenix, wrapped like a dress with an H ribbon round the waist  Strictly for laughs. I am hopeless with 140 silk. And a skirt from RTW: cheap in H economic terms. It is made from 2 scarves and cost less than 2 scarves.
View attachment 4996670
A few close-ups to demonstrate why the anthracite cw is a grail. This is not a black and white scarf. It has cream, dark green, aubergine purple, coffee brown, vanilla and the anthracite grey. I have yet to find another scarf so mesmerizing in its colour palette.
View attachment 4996671

It's full on MP week for you! That exceptional is really something special! (And I actually adore the skirt!) H logic - a skirt that costs less than the scarves it came from... ????

Thank you!

Thanks!

Thank you dear.

Gorgeous!! :loveeyes::loveeyes:

Absolutely exquisite. Three of my favorites of yours in one post.

Beautiful! Twins!:

This is glorious on the plum shirt! Really sets if off.

I guess my favourite scarf is my first shawl, not due to the design but the colours. It was an easy choice, although I was skeptic to the design. A saddle, really ? :amazed: Now I love it, its the Selle d Ófficier en Grande Tenue by Wlodek Kaminski. The shopping experience in Paris was great, and I wear this alot. Irritating whith all the pilling on the big one-colour-areas, though.

I am also very fond of the designs by Pierre Marie. He also designed the Diptyque candels for Christmas season 2018, wich I . Actually have most of this candles from several years back

My favourite designer just now has to be Alice Shirley, the first H-scarf I saw and felt in love with was Zebra Pegasus, but I was too late to the party. I was lucky to find Mountain Zebra though, simply stunning!

Reading this forum has become my mindful moment after work, I really enjoy seeing all this art you are shearing. Thank you! The bad about it, is thats sooo tempting and makes med want a lot more scarfs, haha. The good thing, to live where I live, is that the alternatives in the one H-shop is very limited, and what they have in shop is planned to be sold mostly to tourists from Asia, and the CWs they choose is affected by that. (I was told by a SA). I actually never see people with H-scarfs around. Or bags. (Except for my friend). Its in practice no second-hand market here. And if I would like to by from another country, or from internet, the price will almost double due to import taxes, customes and postage. It limits itself in a way. Witch is probably a good thing...
I wish everyone a good weekend

I can see that being a really versatile colorway and so easy to tie!

Scarf of the day some days ago! Many many thanks to @sdsurfchick for the impossible decision to part with this piece. It’s so special to me  Jungle love tattoo in hot pink - bee jacquard silk.

I do hope her helps to make you keep it- because it is super on you!

Thank you, turfnsurf, I didn’t see this comment until now. Dinner plates . I appreciate the volunteer suggestion. 'ooh- that's a cozy look! I would love to take riding lessons (haven't been riding in decades) but I would like to learn dressage, and am unsure how I would feel as a 50+ lady in a class of 10 year olds...

Today wearing another designer I am very fond of (Annie Faivre) in a format I have come to love. This past week has been very rough. With our house temps turned down to try and avoid power outages, my days were spent buried in cashmere, layered on top of my fuzzy house robe, which was over my winter sweaters and pants plus 2 layers of socks and house slippers....and I hope you'll forgive the lack of photo evidence. And by night I would pile on the cats and surprisingly, my cotton pareos became indispensable night gear after I fell asleep in one some afternoon and decided a really warm neck was a good thing and "hey...washable!" So I started wearing them to sleep at night during the coldest of the cold  and they are now my faithful friends.

My NTM love  Grand Fonds pareo today while out in the melty, drippy ice doing clean up:

And not quite on topic unless we can consider a future love..... I have longed for a Kyoto Marble silk since I first saw them, but never really got it together on the first floral one, and tho I love the marbling technique, wasn't as fond of the second design. So I am thrilled to put this little wonder in to Mr Bcat's SGV for now and await the acquisition of this pretty pink specialness. This is the best of both world's for me. I won't have to deal with the dreaded white background, but get the beautiful flower from the first batch of scarves by them I liked so much.

What a beautiful yellow especially with the lovely gray center. Very flattering to the complexion!

Good morning! Its a snowy Saturday and I have finally had a chance to take a shot or two of my new Dallet scarf that came last week. Thinking of @bunnycat and her sweet story of the feral kitty rescue. Tried to tie this to show the cats! Also @Karenska who I am sisters with on this. I can see this will be super fun to play with as I get better at knotting and tying. Also want to echo @irmapusen on the pleasure of spending time on this delightful site with all of your gorgeous photos and funny and inspiring posts.
