so gorgeous on you! Love how you paired with the creamy white top

congrats! These are all so beautiful.

you have an amazing Aline Honore collection, but this ethereal moussie really is special!

Just send all three of those to me! Seriously, some of my favorites in your collection.
:hugs:

For Saturday my most favorite. I always love her designs, I’m cheered by the colors, and charmed by her creatures.

I have so enjoyed this week and I hope you all have as well - cheers to you all, my dear Scarfies! ❤

Oh yes, have really enjoyed this week, thanks Cookie! Green is definitely your colour

I am dreadfully behind on this thread and I look forward to catching up over the weekend. I’ll share a couple of scarves from this week, Baobab Cat silk 90 and Jaguar Quetzal CSGM.

Beauties! Your BC ties so fabulous and that cw is super flattering :hbeat:

I have taken liberties this week w the love theme Because I love so many designers I just can’t pick one and so many others have already shown my favorites....so today, it’s my LOVE of changeants!!!!! Fell hard since the new year. @bunnycat helped me with identifying my first one which I returned because the beige colors w a peridot highlight were awful on me. And she helped me with my next one too! Now I‘ve got two more that came this week and two more on the way .
Excuse all the lint on my black shirt. It’s my under-layer piece. I had a cozy sweater over it earlier in the day.
Parures des Sables green w purple highlight, La Rosee which is a very subtle one w a pink highlight, and Arabesques with the fiery oranges and almost reds. I call it my hot lava scarf. View attachment 4996473View attachment 4996474View attachment 4996475
These are spectacular- the Arabesques is so dynamic

Many pages of pretty silks to catch up on!

Since so many others have showcased some of my favorites, I’ll share an underrated artist, known mostly for Turandot, Natsuno Hidaka as it so happens I pulled this one from the tansy this weekend to wear.

And my grail of all silks only one design that I could find, Antoine de Jacquelot, Ecume.

Your collex is exquisite- I admire how your selections always appear prettily feminine. Ecume is so special:love:

You are right, 27leborse! It's the only 140cm format which doesn't overwhelm me.

I've been wearing mainly the 90s this week, and the other formats are squawking in protest :giggle:
Two gavs, worn solo and worn together. I find the pale green bird and rich purple border rather difficult to wear. The pale green matches this unusual plant we found in one of our pots.

For @Living.la.vida.fifi, the 140cm Mythiques Phoenix, wrapped like a dress with an H ribbon round the waist  Strictly for laughs. I am hopeless with 140 silk. And a skirt from RTW: cheap in H economic terms. It is made from 2 scarves and cost less than 2 scarves.

A few close-ups to demonstrate why the anthracite cw is a grail. This is not a black and white scarf. It has cream, dark green, aubergine purple, coffee brown, vanilla and the anthracite grey. I have yet to find another scarf so mesmerizing in its colour palette.
View attachment 4996671
What a great MP field trip- especially the anthracite close-ups! I learn so much from your posts; thank you

Scarf of the day some days ago! Many many thanks to @sdsurfchick for the impossible decision to part with this piece. It’s so special to me  Jungle love tattoo in hot pink - bee jacquard silk.

This looks Amazing on you- put it in the never-will-part-with pile, please ;)

That Annie Faivre design was my start down the slope, although it has taken many years to reach obsession stage! I received Libre commes l'air as a birthday gift in 2003 and began adding a scarf or two here and there until 2019 when I fell hard for several gorgeous carres in both seasons. I was feeling a bit guilty until finding this congenial group of scarfies!
I agree- this group turns what some (cough-DH) might call an obsession into a mere hobby.

Joining Team Gavroche with my actual SOTD for running errands/keeping neck warm on a frosty day: Dmitri Rybalchenko's Space Shopping au Faubourg. Cute and fun.

Yes, cookie- so charming! All suit you to a T. Thanks for an enjoyable week :drinks:

I adore the animal drawings by Xavier de Poret. I would love to add a scarf with his bird drawings to my collection. I know some of you have these and I am so delighted when they are shared. In the meantime I made sure to get the reissue of Bassets this past season. I also found a vintage Les Poulains recently in excellent condition.

I’m pleased to introduce Les Poulains (the foals) by Xavier de Poret as my scarf of the day.

Congrats! Twins on this lovely; I just love the mommas with their little ones.
The straw is a pretty compliment to your light hair.

Big multi-quoting and some from much earlier in the week, but I found I had lots to say, apparently.

I'm off to visit my father today on the occasion of his 95th birthday. It seems that the colorful exuberance of Jan Bajtlik's Animapolis fits the bill. He is among my favorite designers. The pearls are white baroque Tahitians.

Happy birthday to your dad, and great CW on you!

And now to the grocery with Paperoles CSGM

View attachment 4995708

Another beautiful colourway, and what looks like a lovely slate/navy fur cuff?

I was drawn to Ex Libris en Kimonos this morning, too. It is the scarf I wear the most (and every single time, my husband asks, "Is that new?"). I don't know other designs but would love more CWs of this one, for sure. Also would love to learn how @Cookiefiend ties that double knot! Also grateful for @Living.la.vida.fifi for her scarf instagram site that is so so informative on so many beautiful designs. I have learned a lot!

Beautifully tied to showcase the colours in this, and looks wonderful with your jumper and necklace.

Most favourite designers are for me the triple A - Alice, Aline et Annie. Though my list is growing, thanks to this blog... SOTD, for many, very different, Zoom meetings, was Zebra Pegasus.

The triple As are winners for me, too, and beautiful purple ensemble.

My SOTD Tigre Royal Fleuri. I worked from home and had to keep me warm. Everything is nicer with a companion by your side (neck).

Twins on Baobab!!! Alice Shirley is another heavy scarf crush of mine.

Spectacular lanit! Your color choices are always amazing!

Thank you kindly! :hugs:

I love seeing these in all their fabulous changeant glory! Congrats on them all and it was my pleasure to help!

All beauties and of course- that Ecume!!!

Thank you Croisette! :hugs:

These are such wonderful selections for the week Croisette!

It is...I probably won't have to wait too long.... I may break this one out of confinement....

It's full on MP week for you! That exceptional is really something special! (And I actually adore the skirt!) H logic - a skirt that costs less than the scarves it came from... ????

This is glorious on the plum shirt! Really sets if off.

I can see that being a really versatile colorway and so easy to tie!

I do hope her helps to make you keep it- because it is super on you!

'ooh- that's a cozy look! I would love to take riding lessons (haven't been riding in decades) but I would like to learn dressage, and am unsure how I would feel as a 50+ lady in a class of 10 year olds...
Thanks bunny!! Poorly worded on my part - I purchased this scarf from Jan’s personal collection. Her making the tough choice to let it go, made it possible for me to take it in. :). I plan to keep it forever!!!
