Thank you Croissette! Such a nice compliment from someone whose collection is amazing! I hope to see some of your favourites this weekJulide, I admire your exquisite collex!
Thank you, Magjes!
Gorgeous, esp. the pink CSGM.
So many beauties!
Thank you for sharing your insight on your collection. I always appreciate and learn so much from how others define their collectionsok so I don’t own any duplicates but that doesn’t mean i never bought them. in fact, this is my walk of shame. i ended up rehoming all of them because of something that bothered me in each. I am pretty ruthless about keeping my collex to only scarvea that I love every time I wear them and with these i had to tie them a certain way or they just didn’t make me feel as good as i thought.. here goes - the first is the keeper the other ones are gone
cosmo (again always first pic is the one i kept)- the brown in this scarf clashed with my wardrobe and complexion. also didn’t love the smoke corner. I adore the blue green tho

LKBnola thank you for your many wonderful complimentsLovely, all! Twins on the black birdies-- love that scarf! Have a fabulous trip @Pirula!Can't wait to see what Paris does for your silk drawer!!!!
I love your "signal to the universe" concept!!! Brilliant @turfnsurf -- and I too love the feel/quirks of the "old souls" (another wonderful concept). Love the twilly/nano pairing...Ingenious!
The CCP is a "necessity is the mother of invention" for the late-blooming collector like me! I try to view the process much like putting together an anthology of, say, poems. What is classic? What is beloved? What endures? What is new and full of vitality? A dollop of humor or the unexpected is good, too...And then from there choose the best/most appealing for me...
This. Is. Stunning. Congratulations @Julide-- what a beautiful accomplishment. I hope you keep them forever and that the two SE cws come your way. Truly a collector's collection...
Thank you so much, @MAGJES-- I like this design a great deal for that bodacious graphic border and the interior full of flowers! @blydia has posted her rando knot on the tutorial thread for us!!!
I so totally agree @ivy1026 -- I (to my regret) bought this one and sent it back thinking I had too many black scarfs alreadyand to this day I regret I did not keep it even if that meant three JLRs!!!
Pass the smelling salts and lead me to the fainting couch!Wow @MAGJES, just wow. I am twins on a few but am too dazzled to even post. Coming around long enough to ask if we can we get a tutorial on your Acte III 90 knot? Then I will just collapse onto the couch again...
That is one gorgeous ELenK!!!!
Very pretty losange @tlamdang08 -- and super cute purse!
Thank you for the restful green @Julide! You are so right that our eyes need the break from all the silken glory posted here...
All stunning @MAGJES-- twins on Canadian Wild-- love to see your stylings...
Can't wait to see @labelo !Love your Three Graces and I made the opposite choice with Artisans-- it was so hard to choose. Often think I'd like to add a softer color of that one...
Thank you @bunnycat. Gotta have the home town team colors in the scarf drawer!
Hahaha @Agrume-- I am nearing the end. Spent a lot of time (and $$) during the pandemic with the help of mod shots here but I have only two scarfs left in full remediation status and one whose application into the CCP is under evaluation. After that, I am in pure grail territory! Squad goals...
Thank you so much-- those dramatic border scarfs make it easy @Croisette7-- they do all the work!
I can see why you made every single choice that you did and you have ended up with a beautiful, coherent collex that is stunning on you @blydia! Inspirational post.
Oooooo! This design is on my list. I have yet to decide which colour way I want. Fabulous! Thank you for sharing!Le Carnaval de Venise shows up frequently on the resale market, and I am constantly tempted to add another colorway to my collection. So far I have only two. I love this design and can see why it remains popular.
I'm still looking for the perfect scarf for this new olive green with white stripes top. Trying out Le Carnaval de Venise with the golden yellow border and orange hem today. My other colorway has a green border and a yellow hem.

What a wonderful pastel colour way LeI love them both, RBH, and the one with olive green looks lovely with your new top. I am always tempted to add another cw, too. I only own one but I love both your cws and I adore the one that is yellow and cornflower blue.

I think it is Ireland or England. I do not know for sure. ApologiesMarvelous! Those photos are incredible! Do you know where they were taken, Julide? The one with the bridge looks like England?
Thank you Nomadahhhhhh I am sitting back and enjoying this so much! Love them all.
love love love love. Amazing! I would do the exact same thing. Such a versatile design.
@Croisette7 I fully agree here. I envision a cabinet like in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Climb in and behind the wardrobe is your land of scarves!!!
I love seeing and reading your process! Great job knowing your fine tastes and sticking to it.

Here it is flat--I also love the story behind the design and the fact that a particular cw (not this one) was issued to support an anti-addiction charity in Great Britain. But my research was sparked by seeing it here on Cookiefiend and then Redbird. The Librain site has all the cws in one of her posts. Paperoles by Claudia Stuhlhofer‑Mayr
View attachment 5224732
My mother has Paperoles silk carré in black/gold and ever since I saw it on her for the first time in 2000 (if I remember correctly), I fell in love with this design. I have always favored classics, especially equestrian-themed designs or those designed by French artists. I was so excited when Paperoles was reissued a few years ago. I had a hard time deciding which color to get.
Please, Check-In by Dimitri Rybaltchenko

I originally purchased my SOTD, L'Epopee d'Hermes Detail 70, in the pink and orange colorway, CW13. This, in spite of knowing that I have a decades-long aversion to wearing hot orange and hot pink together. I thought that I could handle the light pink and orange together. It turns out I couldn't, so that scarf went back, which is a rarity for me.
So, when the light blue colorway, CW04, popped up, I gave l'Epopee another try, since I still loved the design. There is still a bit of pink and orange on this scarf, but in such tiny amounts that it isn't a problem for me. (I have no idea how I will handle our pink and orange week coming up, though.)
Wearing my light blue l'Epopee detail today, and enjoying the reindeer leaping high to distribute all the orange Hermes boxes to the good and faithful scarfies in the land. Bonus action photo of myself yesterday wearing Space Shopping while babysitting my 14 month old grandson.

@Julide what about cross format multiples? Such as the 90 and the 140cm versions?
This is missing from my growing Alice Shirley collex - I've not yet seen a colorway that didn't make my credit card call my nameI have several for this week, and they are all 2 word Titles...Is there something psychological there going on???
We'll start with my true love in the cat scarves subset. It was love at first sight for the first colorway I saw so I bought it as soon s I saw it, but then could NOT get the purple colorway out of my head. For EIGHT months...couldn't get it out of my head. Couldn't bring myself to sell the first and get the other, so I called to a boutique to find one (only time I have gone through the trouble of ordering from a boutique over the phone) and still (happily) have 2 (and still search for a larger format that would suit my coloring...)
Jaguar Quetzal. Caramel/Rose colorway. This was the first one I got.
View attachment 5225751
But then the purple one nagged me endlessly....The purple scarves were fantastic that season. Here with the same top because I was trying to decide which one to wear that day..

I figured out that you were the Multiples Queen when you admitted to having all of the Tapis Persans.I only have three, but they will be coming out this week for sure. This week is sure to be a treat.
I continue my habit of finding a crossover scarf for Sunday that embodies both this week's theme, as well as last week's theme. My SOTD is Tigre Royal Fleuri. I'm wearing the red today, but the navy was one of my early purchases. These two scarves are my first multiples purchase from Hermes.

View attachment 5225761
Love those borders!Sorry for the messed-up quotes, everyone! If I am not losing quotes, I am apparently doubling up and somehow muddling up the format...
I have been eyeing this week with a bit of trepidation because until recently I had few multiples and the ones I had were sort of accidental (an "inherited" or gift of a scarf that was a duplicate of one I had). I guess right there is a distinction: duplicate versus multiple. My first actually chosen "multiple" was Parures des Samurois, the scarf that started my road to H Perdition. Since then I have consciously added multiples because (a) I adore the design and "need" another or (b) I bought a cw before I became a collector and have since decided I prefer something else but have not yet parted with the first (this is my Colorway Correction Program CCP). Some of these multiples are in a re-home pile but occasionally are given another chance to audition for a leading role. Sometimes, I buy a multiple because the scarf is an "outfit-maker" and I want to have another cw for a different seasonal look or day/evening etc. So that is my story so far and I am sticking to it! Here is a recent multiple from last season. I traded my blue Selle des Steppes for red/black/blue cw which is much more casual than the black/white/gold one. I wear both quite a bit. (Last tie is @blydia's amazing "rando knot").

You do pattern mixing and solids both so very well!Lovely intro.
wow! So many multiples! Beautiful Foxy Trini and bunnycat!
I have very few multiples. In fact only one both 90s and two 90s/CSGM. It appears to be a hang up I have for no good reason. I’ll share them now because in two days time I’m off to………..Paris!

Love how the same color looks so different in different tones. Justifies a lot of decisions I may makeIt seems to me that when you get a new design it signals to the universe (& internet) to put more in your path.
Exhibit A is Bolduc:
View attachment 5225972Left is older reissue, Right is newer reissue- originally purchased to frame. I enjoy having examples of odd copyrights, etc. and the oldie falls in that category. It presented itself shortly after first and I couldn’t resist having both to compare/contrast.
They are very different in color & hand (the older soul has had numerous washings and is buttery soft).

As someone with, sadly, 0 ELEKs, I am drooling at this array! Many apologies for the endless quotes. I am still not able to make them work correctly. I have deliberated all day and what to post and have decided to start at the beginning; the one design that started my multiple collection…eLeK
I saw the design when it came out and decided I “needed” more than one, two quickly became a hunt for all. And with the help of many tPFers, my collection came together. The sentimental aspect of wonderful people that helped me is also another reason, this one will be forever my favourite.View attachment 5226137

The brown 3 Graces is so pretty!I have a modest collection and don't have many multiples. I do own The Three Graces in two formats, a 90 and a 45.
