The CCP is a "necessity is the mother of invention" for the late-blooming collector like me! I try to view the process much like putting together an anthology of, say, poems. What is classic? What is beloved? What endures? What is new and full of vitality? A dollop of humor or the unexpected is good, too...And then from there choose the best/most appealing for me...

I so totally agree @ivy1026 -- I (to my regret) bought this one and sent it back thinking I had too many black scarfs alreadyand to this day I regret I did not keep it even if that meant three JLRs!!!

Hahaha @Agrume-- I am nearing the end. Spent a lot of time (and $$) during the pandemic with the help of mod shots here but I have only two scarfs left in full remediation status and one whose application into the CCP is under evaluation. After that, I am in pure grail territory! Squad goals...

My Ecole Française d’Equitation is mostly black/wine/peachy. I think yours is beautiful!!
No surprise I’m all about showcasing the horses (& am mainly a casual wearer). I pulled mine out and played around a bit to show you how easy it is to feature whichever vignette you choose...

I'm off topic but this is actually my SOTD today. It's Collier de Chien in the 140 silk. Also, I went to my local boutique and picked up the Zebra Pegasus GT as well as an impulse purchase. I got one a fringed twilly which I hadn't even seen before, it's very cool. I'll post pics later.

I've had relatives in town and while I leapt last week to the like/love button and replied in my head, a belated 'ooh lala' on everyone's pix. I'm twinning with several and want to be twinning with several more! Thank you all as always for the eye candy
This is missing from my growing Alice Shirley collex - I've not yet seen a colorway that didn't make my credit card call my nameI have several for this week, and they are all 2 word Titles...Is there something psychological there going on???
We'll start with my true love in the cat scarves subset. It was love at first sight for the first colorway I saw so I bought it as soon s I saw it, but then could NOT get the purple colorway out of my head. For EIGHT months...couldn't get it out of my head. Couldn't bring myself to sell the first and get the other, so I called to a boutique to find one (only time I have gone through the trouble of ordering from a boutique over the phone) and still (happily) have 2 (and still search for a larger format that would suit my coloring...)
Jaguar Quetzal. Caramel/Rose colorway. This was the first one I got.

I figured out that you were the Multiples Queen when you admitted to having all of the Tapis Persans.I only have three, but they will be coming out this week for sure. This week is sure to be a treat.
I continue my habit of finding a crossover scarf for Sunday that embodies both this week's theme, as well as last week's theme. My SOTD is Tigre Royal Fleuri. I'm wearing the red today, but the navy was one of my early purchases. These two scarves are my first multiples purchase from Hermes.

I saw the design when it came out and decided I “needed” more than one, two quickly became a hunt for all. And with the help of many tPFers, my collection came together. The sentimental aspect of wonderful people that helped me is also another reason, this one will be forever my favourite.
