I love le Bal des Oiseaux, one scarf I am sorry I did not get when it was available. Both CWs are beautiful! Enjoy Paris! I was there in August and grabbed 2 scarves while there (because why not??) Have fun!

Thank you Forever Orange! I’m hoping To do a little H shopping myself! :coolio:

Thanks! - I adore both of those choices of Plumes en Fete!

You make a simple twilly go a thousand miles!

yyyeeeessssss-

Oh I love those Les Artisans! I would not have been able to choose!

Thanks bunnycat!

Wonderful scarves, Pirula! Those birds are fascinating, aren’t they?

thank you Agrume. They are fun and beautiful. Even if my son and DH call it The Kevin Scarf (see below).

Gorgeous, Pirula!

So elegant!

Thank you so much dear Croisette.:hugs:

Et voila, Kevin:

Lovely intro.

wow! So many multiples! Beautiful Foxy Trini and bunnycat!

I have very few multiples. In fact only one both 90s and two 90s/CSGM. It appears to be a hang up I have for no good reason. I’ll share them now because in two days time I’m off to………..Paris! :yahoo:

Lovely, all! Twins on the black birdies-- love that scarf! Have a fabulous trip @Pirula! Can't wait to see what Paris does for your silk drawer!!!! :happydance:
It seems to me that when you get a new design it signals to the universe (& internet) to put more in your path.

Exhibit A is Bolduc:
View attachment 5225972Left is older reissue, Right is newer reissue- originally purchased to frame. I enjoy having examples of odd copyrights, etc. and the oldie falls in that category. It presented itself shortly after first and I couldn’t resist having both to compare/contrast.

They are very different in color & hand (the older soul has had numerous washings and is buttery soft).
View attachment 5225975
“Newer” has bolder H box color and more body.
View attachment 5225980
Twilly impulse buy has surprise metallic lettering
View attachment 5225977
I love your "signal to the universe" concept!!! Brilliant @turfnsurf -- and I too love the feel/quirks of the "old souls" (another wonderful concept). Love the twilly/nano pairing...Ingenious!
What fabulous insight! I would love to learn more about your CCP. I may need it!:P The hem makes this design tie so beautifully!!:flowers:
 The CCP is a "necessity is the mother of invention" for the late-blooming collector like me! I try to view the process much like putting together an anthology of, say, poems. What is classic? What is beloved? What endures? What is new and full of vitality? A dollop of humor or the unexpected is good, too...And then from there choose the best/most appealing for me...
Many apologies for the endless quotes. I am still not able to make them work correctly. I have deliberated all day and what to post and have decided to start at the beginning; the one design that started my multiple collection…eLeK

I saw the design when it came out and decided I “needed” more than one, two quickly became a hunt for all. And with the help of many tPFers, my collection came together. The sentimental aspect of wonderful people that helped me is also another reason, this one will be forever my favourite.:flowers:View attachment 5226137
This. Is. Stunning. Congratulations @Julide-- what a beautiful accomplishment. I hope you keep them forever and that the two SE cws come your way. Truly a collector's collection...
The black/white/gold Steppes is quite elegant paired with black. I can see why you went with the Marine colorway for the more casual look. Both are lovely! I love the “rando knot!” We need a tutorial!
Thank you so much, @MAGJES-- I like this design a great deal for that bodacious graphic border and the interior full of flowers! @blydia has posted her rando knot on the tutorial thread for us!!!
Omg :hugs: love this scarf and hard to just pick one colorway
I so totally agree @ivy1026 -- I (to my regret) bought this one and sent it back thinking I had too many black scarfs already :whut: and to this day I regret I did not keep it even if that meant three JLRs!!!
My two 90cm colorways of Annie Faivre’s Cavaliers du Caucase
Also my CSGM.

Thank you Magjes! Here is a pic from h.com I saved way back when. The rest of colour ways can be found in on tPF but I can not remember if it was spring or winter collection:flowers:View attachment 5226296

All stunning @MAGJES-- twins on Canadian Wild-- love to see your stylings...
I have a modest collection and don't have many multiples. I do own The Three Graces in two formats, a 90 and a 45.
View attachment 5226338 View attachment 5226341

And I briefly owned two cws of Les Artisans while trying to decide between them--ultimately sent back the red.
View attachment 5226348 View attachment 5226350

*But* I might just have something on the way that's on theme
Can't wait to see @labelo !Love your Three Graces and I made the opposite choice with Artisans-- it was so hard to choose. Often think I'd like to add a softer color of that one...
The gold and black is stunning, but I am a big fan of the casual colorway- smashing!
Thank you @bunnycat. Gotta have the home town team colors in the scarf drawer!
Great examples, LKBNOLA, you look great in all of them. I am also following the CCP…
Hahaha @Agrume-- I am nearing the end. Spent a lot of time (and $$) during the pandemic with the help of mod shots here but I have only two scarfs left in full remediation status and one whose application into the CCP is under evaluation. After that, I am in pure grail territory! Squad goals...
So artfully tied, as always!
Thank you so much-- those dramatic border scarfs make it easy @Croisette7-- they do all the work!
ok so I don’t own any duplicates but that doesn’t mean i never bought them. in fact, this is my walk of shame. i ended up rehoming all of them because of something that bothered me in each. I am pretty ruthless about keeping my collex to only scarvea that I love every time I wear them and with these i had to tie them a certain way or they just didn’t make me feel as good as i thought.. here goes - the first is the keeper the other ones are gone

cosmo (again always first pic is the one i kept)- the brown in this scarf clashed with my wardrobe and complexion. also didn’t love the smoke corner. I adore the blue green tho
View attachment 5226450
variations of the jungle. too high contrast, and I just don’t wear pure grey as much for the twillyView attachment 5226451
acte III - the csgm rehome may come as a surprise but I kept reaching for it because I felt like I should love it. i only loved one corner. wore it 25 times.View attachment 5226452
plumes. the colors were a tad bright and sweet, plus it competed with my phoenix for wear.View attachment 5226453
kawa - the green and that one pale blue spot kept bothering meView attachment 5226454
not my colorsView attachment 5226455
rhis scarf i tried multiple times. both rehoused or in the process of doing soView attachment 5226456
I can see why you made every single choice that you did and you have ended up with a beautiful, coherent collex that is stunning on you @blydia! Inspirational post.

Le Carnaval de Venise shows up frequently on the resale market, and I am constantly tempted to add another colorway to my collection. So far I have only two. I love this design and can see why it remains popular.

I'm still looking for the perfect scarf for this new olive green with white stripes top. Trying out Le Carnaval de Venise with the golden yellow border and orange hem today. My other colorway has a green border and a yellow hem.

I have been waiting not so patiently for this week to come. Have you ever seen a design where you couldn’t decide which colour to buy? Or one design that got away? Or perhaps a scarf that spoke to you in some other way?

Seduced by silk: Multiples.

I may have been sided tracked once or twice ;)by a design that pulls me in. My first foray into H scarves ended in purchasing multiples of that design. Have you ever been drawn into a design that you “needed”:giggle:more than one? What compels you to buy more than one of the same design? Is there a design you wished you had bought more than one of? Some say there is no other scarves that feel like H scarves or maybe it is the designs or maybe the colours. Forgive my rambling, for me it is the design. Some just grab me and I am in:love: Thank you all for indulging me in one of my weaknesses when it comes to H: Multiples.

Here is a statistical:smartass:breakdown of my collection:
Exactly 60% of my 90’s collection is a multiple.
46.3% of my 140’s collection is multiple. This includes giant silks, mousseline and CSGM
As you can see by the data before you:PI am a little bit fond of multiples:amuse:

This week is going to be filled with scarf eye candy! Fellow scarifies be prepared, rest your eyes...btw did you know that green can be a soothing colour for the eye? Diamond graders usually have a green wall to relax their eyes on. So rest your eyes upon this lush greenery and enjoy this coming week!! :flowers:

P.S. I will of course be back soon to share some of my multiples!:flowers:

P.P.S. Many thanks to @bunnycat for hosting a fabulous week!!:flowers:
Marvelous! Those photos are incredible! Do you know where they were taken, Julide? The one with the bridge looks like England?

@Julide what about cross format multiples? Such as the 90 and the 140cm versions?
ahhhhhh I am sitting back and enjoying this so much! Love them all.

love love love love. Amazing! I would do the exact same thing. Such a versatile design.
Next to your remarkable Bottomless Cabinet of Wonders that houses your collection of amazing scarfs is a parallel magic cabinet that has rack after rack of absolutely perfect jackets @Croisette7!!! Truly beautiful.
@Croisette7 I fully agree here. I envision a cabinet like in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Climb in and behind the wardrobe is your land of scarves!!!
