My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

And, now, a Brides de Gala fest. The only format I own in this timeless design is in the 90, and the gavs I borrow from my DD. But, although mainly 90s, I am happy to own so many wonderful editions of this classic, which was issued on my birth year. The funny thing is that I didn’t particularly like this design much when I started to seriously collect H scarves and my first original version was a sentimental gift. But, as I came across recent editions of the design, I fell in love with it.
Here’s a collage of my original BdG and my two Brides Fleuries

I'm not sure Brides de Gala has been issued in enough formats to be considered for this week.... :roflmfao:
So lovely, bunnycat. I’m in love with that Tigre Royale.

Here with my new BdG Quadri mousse:

And Carre en Carre has a bit of several things that have seen multiple releases and formats. BdG, Tigre Royal and Pani la Shar Pawnee:

Here are some of the other parts of CenC. Tigre Royal 70 (it's been a pocket square, CSGM, a 90, bandana and a 70):

And Pani la Shar Pawnee...too many issues to count! Here with the silk taffeta charm triangle:

Love your BdG parade fifi! (That bdG Shadow colorway really grew on me this past year....)

Thank you very much fifi! And your comment just reminded me that I DO own another BdG - the BdG Shadow pocket square which I was inspired to get after seeing your mod shots of the same cw in the 90 format! So here are my BdG Shadow 90 and BdG Shadow pocket square together.
Aaah! Another great one to own!

Oh my goodness... All gorgeous and fabulously styled! I am blown away by the BdG Quadri moussie, and the Pani is wonderful!

Trying this again because my comment seemed not to post. These are so beautiful, bunnycat, and I love your knots. I’m especially taken with the Tigre Royal. Love his beautiful cat face. I like the current 70 on H.com, especially the red cw.

Thank you! I found it in there. :flowers: If you're a cat lover, I think a Tigre is a must have and the 70 format is so easy to wear.

Well i posted my Faubourg Rainbow CSGM as SOTD the other day which reminded that I'd been wanting to get the twilly... So as a little birthday present to myself today I acquired the twilly version. I just love the exuberance and vibrant colors of this design. It works wonderfully as a headband, too!
Super cute! Those colors are so cheery! And thank you for the beautiful mod shots! Now I am on the hunt for them!

What a gorgeous collection of BdG! I’m trying now to replicate some of the beautiful ways you tie your 90s. :flowers: I have one BdG love and love it! A gift from my daughters for Mother’s Day last year!

I remember your Fleuries from when you bought it and how beautiful your outfit was. I have to say though, that steely grey with the matching top......:heart::heart:

Thanks, the CSGM is my current fav!

Thank you!

Thank you! There were some beautiful CWs.

Oh, amazing collection! Wow that first CSGM - never seen that CW and it is so perfect with your jacket.
Twins on a few of those. Also find it interesting that your CSPM seems to be the same CW as my 70 cotton charm scarf.
Thank you, scarf. Yes, it is, but with the fringed hem, which I don't like.
