Well i posted my Faubourg Rainbow CSGM as SOTD the other day which reminded that I'd been wanting to get the twilly... So as a little birthday present to myself today I acquired the twilly version. I just love the exuberance and vibrant colors of this design. It works wonderfully as a headband, too!

My SOTD made me think about how H sometimes redesigns for reissues in other formats. I'm wearing Nothing but a Dreamer with Coupe de Gala gav. The 90cm version of Coupe had a more elaborate border, much like for the CSGM version of Fetes Venetiennes which had (IIRC) an extended border. Not every design is scalable. Nothing but a Dreamer is so detailed that it would just fuzz out as a gav but I would definitely buy it if it were issued as a 90 finesse. I find it interesting how H has so many ways to macro and micro a design. Some gavs show only a portion of the 90 design, like Jardin Maharani Recadre or Noel au Faubourg. I liked the losange redesign of Fouets et Badines shown by @MAGJES earlier (wishlisted!).

Yes, the Venezia shawl features Fetes Venitiennes/Carnaval de Venise, with an entirely new border and new name. (Because, as you said, not every design is scalable.) I'll try to post pix, since I have both, as does @croisette7!

I have always admired Le Jardin de Leïla on others so was ecstatic when it was reissued in CSGM. Today I'm wearing it with my new Petit H pochette as a clutch.

Finally Panthera Pardus already introduced by Bunny. These are my only animal prints, love the lightweight black&white giant summersilk, the two CSGMs I’ve used less but they certainly add some attitude to an outfit

the 3-D enhancement of Mr.Bones & Mount give them a very Día de Muertos flavor. The stitched line work reminds me of the colorful raised icing on sugar skulls, etc. So yummy!


That EL is a gorgeous blue! I have a ‘46 sibling in bright yellow- so happy!

Looks perfect! I'm always envious of those who have the skill to mix and match patterns. I remember we had a theme on this last year and when I went into work my husband gasped ( he is also my boss!) and said how awful it looked!!!! Hahahaha.

L'Arbre du Vent is a design I always hanker after. Sadly, the recent CSGMs didn't thrill me too much colour-wise. These look amazing on you though, just gorgeous!

This design works best as a CSGM, IMO... You have the most gorgeous and varied array of colors... Fabulous!
