I have 3 Mineraux. The yellow gav and 2 90s. I'm obsessed with rocks and minerals.
The yellow gav looks very lemon under certain lighting, not so bright under my fluorescent.

When I got ready for this week's theme, I found a website that claimed there were 60 shades of yellow (yes, I'm a nerd ). I didn't get past #20 but I remember it named saffron as a shade of yellow-infused orange. I can work with that!

And Flotille. I like the ring of lemon-lime, but it's quite difficult to tie the scarf so that the lemon-lime shows.

I searched for nearly ten years for a Galop Volant in the grey/blue and maroon horses forever. I then saw that the corners might appear upside down when tied? I love this saffron version of yours! More pics when you can on the corners dear!

Traveling today and currently ogling the sites from 95 heading north. Mr Cookie - who is technically driving - just saw 4 boars on the side of the highway having a snack. I - on the other hand - am not driving and alternately watching the road (someone has to) and enjoying the parade of yellow silk.
I’m off topic today with Sea,Surf and Fun. Tho not totally OT because I will see the beach today!

I also wouldn’t wear LMdV with grey. But, with black as you’ve done herencia is a while other story... Looks sensational! I would also try it with yellow (although you would probably not do that due to how you feel about yellow), and would definitely also try it with cream.

Love them all, especially that amazing Din Tini Ya Zue.. and the Sangles en Zigzag... I contemplated that CW of SeZ for the longest time and finally got distracted away from it, but I know there are some still out there. It never came to my H store. Story time! I moved to the US in ‘84 and have fond memories of watching most of the Olympic games with my dad that summer, this isn’t the most exciting scarf design to me but I love that unknowingly there is a commemorative scarf that ties (no pun intended) to this pivotal period of my life.

Oh dear lanit, I am very sorry that you have lost your pup. I remember him so well. He has been a beautiful little photo star in many of your pictures through the years. It goes very deep in your mind to loose a dear pet. He has been an important part in your life. I am sending you my thoughts and comfort.

Awwwwww lanit, I'm so sorry for your loss, our pets are very much a part of our families and bring us such comfort and joy. Here is my fur baby. I hope you consider giving another lucky pup a home!

Haha! I briefly thought. Had too many blue scarves, but a recent analysis shows that my most worn scarves during 2018 were all ( but one ) BLUE.

Dear silkies, it’s been a sad month having lost my beautiful pup at the beginning of the month. I posted him a few years ago in his prime wearing a little pochette. I am just getting through the fog of losing him and at peace knowing he was well loved. He was a gift to us during his lifetime with our family. So yellow is the perfect color to cheer me up and banish my blues.

I'd have waltzed right past thus cw because it's so out of my regular palette. Thank you for opening my eyes to new possibilities.

Oh, cool - it looks like Galop Volant has a very similar feel to Chevaux du Ciel ! (Which I have in my notes as wanting the red special ed released for the first shop in China...)

So I thought I would show off my "problem scarf" yesterday. I find Les Merveilles de la Vapeur just charming, and figured I could overlook the pale yellow for the awesome grey border and details. And then it came and I tried to wear it with a grey blouse and it was horrible. The border turned this weird purply/brown/olive color, and I still didn't like the yellow. So I thought about dyeing it, but then I'd lose the fabulous detail - which is a true grey! Sigh. So I put it on the "sell pile" for a while. And figured I'd complain about it here, and then... I liked it.

Ok, I can never wear it with a true grey, or the border will turn that weird annoying color again. But against anything else? It's pretty nice! (And y'all have inoculated me this week against my instinctive recoil from yellow. Thanks!)

Merveilles is indeed wonderfully detailed. And I still haven't got my Last Night yet - I was rather OCD at first and looked for a cw with the RCA cables in the correct colours. Then I recalled "artistic license"!
