Yellow gold in my BDG today... View attachment 4387364 hmm... Worn like this, I feel like the blue stripes evoke the image of an orthodox prayer shawl.
this is a drop-dead stunning piece of silk!!View attachment 4386366 @lanit @bobkat1991
For all our furry companions, wishes forever to play under the Eiffel Tower and starry sky: “Souvenirs de Paris” by Tennessee-born Hilton McConnico, 1989.
A l'ombre des boulevards is a gorgeous design!
Not elephant ivory. These should be carved from fossilized walrus tusks, IIRC. Dragon set with carnelian and, I think, a hessonite garnet. Ganesh with kyanite. The middle one is a salamander in amber with a moldavite.

Have fun, Cookie!
Love these colors!!! So rich.
Thank you. This is true, and has caused me to amass quite a few.....I love the CdV... It’s one of those designs that’s fantastic in every single CW!
It does, and I should wear it. I don't always know what colors make the best background.Lovely! Actually think that Amazone has a very springy vibe!
Thank you! It's really fun to tie.I like how you show the musical notes when you tied the 1st Carnaval de Venise!
Well, "Monteverdi": didn't you work in Venice in the early 17th century? Those Carnaval are dreamy....

That is very interesting, about taking cues from Mother Nature. I really like the way this ties. Even though it is symmetrical. I love symmetrical designs but sometimes I have difficulty tying them.SOTD Cortege des Vignerons. First time wearing it. Made me understand why design books all recommend taking advice from Mother Nature. The bumblebee yellow and black is quite pleasing to my eye.
