I’ve been wanting to post about this recent Grail find but have been waiting for a pertinent theme week, and since it contains so much green, it is very appropriate for this week. I shared my joy about finding it with @Pautinka on Instagram So, here is my Fleurs d’Ecosse. I also post pics with some of my brooches and a scarf clip and earrings. First, a real vintage medal, then a couple of Luckenbooth Miracle brooches and a Past Times enamel Scottish Townley scarf clip with Miracle Celtic enamel earrings.

Honestly, I don't know.
But of my moussies, this one is the most delicate - it has a marvelous sheen to it, its very fine (ykwim?) very - uh - extraordinary. I don't wear it often because it is just stunning to look at. It's a beautiful pale green. I love it

All matchy-matchy today. Fleurs de Lotus with a jade and coral necklace, and earrings made from red saga seeds and green glass rocailles.
I hunted down this cw of Lotus after seeing a photo of it on tpf. The necklace was a thrill bargain by my mum - she was pleased as punch after knocking off more than 50% of the price (just fyi, this is not quality jade, but it is pretty). The earrings are from Taipei where there are quite a few artisans who create jewellery using seeds and nuts.
And on the subject of hunts, I am now officially on Ban Island because a stack of personal grails suddenly popped up and I clicked ...

Bunnycat is right! This Etude d'un Iris is a 140 moussie folded in quarters and tied like a 90 to emphasize different color squares.

And to stay on topic, here's a greenish 140 Ceintures et Liens moussie folded and tied to make a 90 cm size-- such a nice way to maintain control!

Especially perfect with the Iris ABQ@ATL! That design lends itself well to the quadrant fold technique

LOL....I have bought and sold 2 140cm moussies because I can't figure out how to wear them! I love them and try them on every time at the boutique then remind myself that I am moussie-challenged.

I have one changeant, one ordinary moussie, one DD and one summer silk 140'ies - the last one really heavy and present, whereas the first ones I simply wind a couple of times around my neck cowboy style, and am good to go - so don't let'em get to you
